I have been trying to start ApacheDS service on windows for a while, but failed.
I want to connect to LDAP but the ApacheDS service can't start.
I tried to check my wrapper log file and found the error -
Unable to load the Wrapper's native library 'wrapper.dll'.
However, I am running a 64-bits JVM and my computer has 64-bits as well. How can I find the wrapper.dll file of 64-bits, if it is the cause to the error?
I hope if this error gets fixed, I will be able to connect LDAP without error: [LDAP result code 52 - unavailable] Proxy operation retry failed.

I am trying to restart my node by running StartNode.bat in cmd. But it is giving me the following error,
ADMU0111E: Program exiting with error: java.io.FileNotFoundException: C:\Users{userid}\workspaces\was_profiles{profilename}\config\cells\localcell\nodes\localnode\servers\nodeagent\server.xml (The system cannot find the path specified.) When I checked the above path, server.xml is present in the path C:\Users{userid}\workspaces\was_profiles{profilename}\config\cells\localcell\nodes\localnode\servers\server1\server.xml. I am not sure how to restart my node. Also, I am restarting the node, since I get ORA error invalid username/password issue while trying to test my datasource connection in IBM websphere.
Most of the posts suggest me to restart websphere server and nodeagent as well. Eventually, when I start the nodeagent, I get the above error. I tried to use syncNode command, but could not find the deployment manager host name, port details for my application.
It looks like you have single server version installed, not network deployment. In that case you dont have node and deployment manager, but just single server.
You should use commands like:
startServer.bat server1 - to start the server
stopServer.bat server1 - to stop server
I am using wildfly 10.1 in standalone mode and need to use it as a service.
I copied the service files to the bin folder and then installed the service from the command prompt.
This works well, except that it is impossible to stop the service without killing the process using taskkill.
As a fix, I tried replacing
set DESCRIPTION="WildFly Application Server"
with
set DESCRIPTION=WildFly Application Server
in the service.bat file as mentioned here. But this is causing the service not to start. The system log says:
The Wildfly service terminated with the following service-specific
error: Incorrect function.
How can I fix this issue and get the service starting and stoppping normally?
Add System variable JAVA_HOME to System variable and try to start the service. It worked for me.
I am trying to install SymmetricDS as a service. The SymmetricDS version I am using is symmetric-server-3.7.27. I am following the process mentioned in the SymmetricDS documentation webpage. It uses sym_service to install and then start the service. The installation seems to be successful but when I am trying to start it from console, I am getting the following error:
which in English translates to:
Error 19: Start Service returned error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request. Native error 19
As far I found there is a sym_service.conf file in the conf folder that can be manipulated for changing the service properties. But I am not sure actually this error has anything to do with the conf file.
I have created a neo4j database on my windows machine.
I have transferred the content of the database directory to my linux machine. This is because I have the community edition which does not support the backup functions.

I have made a fresh install of neo4j on my ubuntu machine.
Now I finally get some logs:

I should be related to this but I am not sure how to proceed. Is the issue related to the fact that when I copied the database, I just stopped neo4j on my windows machine from the neo4j window?
There is no reason why a Neo4j database should not be transferable between operating systems. Can you please provide the output of data/log/console.log? First thought is that you may have permission issues. The files should be read/write for the user the Neo4j process will run as.
I created websphere server. I was able to launch my application with it. However after I enable the debugging , the server is not starting. I am getting the following error
"ADMU7704E: Failed while trying to start the Windows Service associated with
server: server1; probable error executing WASService.exe"
On some sites a workaround was to delete server.pid file but I am not seeing any such files in the location.

The first thing to test is to disable the WAS Windows service from Windows Services Panel and then try to start server using command line ie startserver.bat
You run this command from PROFILE_HOME/bin. if this starts fine, you can recreate the service using wasservicecmd

If the manual startup fails , please check if any logs created under PROFILE_HOME/logs// Check for any error messages in SystemOut.log, SystemErr.log , native_stderr and native_stdout logs.
PROFILE_HOME is home directory of WAS profile.
