Oracle Apex Interactive Grid set one value for all rows - oracle

My goal is to have a button that when user clicked it, it will prompt text input. Once closed, the value inputted in prompt text will be assign/display to all the rows in a given column. So for example, I inputted '9'. Once dialog page closed, All 10 rows from column A of Interactive Grid will have '9' as a value. This is to lessen the user typing the same value for multiple rows.

If I understood you correctly, user enters the page that contains an interactive grid and starts entering values; you'd want to use the same value for some column in all rows user enters.
If that's so, then don't reinvent the wheel, but:
navigate to interactive grid's column that should have the same value throughout all rows
go to its properties
set the Duplicate copies existing value property ON
Therefore, user would enter that value only for the first row and simply duplicate that row.
Alternatively:
create a page item (let's call it P1_DEFAULT_VALUE)
set it to "Submit when ENTER pressed" (or create a submit button which would do the same; because, item's value has to be in session state, otherwise you can't use it)
navigate to interactive grid's column that should get value entered into P1_DEFAULT_VALUE
go to its properties
scroll down to Default section
set
type = Item
Item = P1_DEFAULT_VALUE
Doing so, column would "inherit" page item's value for each row entered.

the chechkbox keeps the last selected row

I have a form with a grid, the first column is not in the packages table, I added a checkbox. For example, if I select the second row in the checkbox, it stays selected even after closing the form.
The value of the checkbox is not stored in the table, how do I do it so that when the form is reopened the checkbox does not have any rows selected?
SET PATH TO "C:\Users\ives\Documents\Visual FoxPro Projects\delivered\dbfs"
USE IN 0 SHARED packages
Thisform.packages.RecordSource = "packages"
Thisform.packages.column2.ControlSource = "packages.code"
Thisform.packages.column3.ControlSource = "packages.name"
Thisform.packages.column4.ControlSource = "packages.address"
Thisform.packages.column5.ControlSource = "packages.phone"
Thisform.packages.refresh
thisform.packages.setfocus()
thisform.refresh
The value that is configured in the check1.value is 0, after configuring the recordsource and the grid source control, I have this code but the problem continues.
Every column in a grid has to have a ControlSource. If you're not specifying one, then the grid will choose one somewhere.
The typical way to use a checkbox in a grid for selection is to add a column to the table or cursor you're working with to hold that value, or to set up a cursor with a 1-1 relationship to your original table to hold the value.

(Lotus Notes)Can the labels in the form set display conditions?

There is currently a form, suppose there are two labels, I want to have a field with a value for the label ex2 to appear, if not, hide the label ex2.
Is there a place to set it?
After I tried, the tab still visible...
In the Designer :
In the Client :
To hide a TAB you simply hide its contents. If you e.g. would want to hide ex2 you would select the complete content of the tab", open the text properties (Alt + Enter) and enter something like:
HideEx2 = "Yes"
in the hide- when formula. Then the tab will disappear as soon as the field "HideEx2" gets the value "Yes".
Take care: Hide whens are NOT calculated "automatically". If your Hide- When depends on the value of an option or checkbox field you need to check the mark "Refresh fields on keyword change" in the field properties of the HideEx2- field.
Otherwise your user needs to press F5 or save the document to make the tab appear / disappear
If there are Tables in the tab, then you need to do three steps:
select everything before the table (red BEFORE in the screenshot), set the hide- when
select all cells of the table, set the hide when
and at last select the text after the table (red AFTER in the screenshot) and hide it.
3 different selections, 3 times setting the checkmark, 3 times inserting the hide when! You CAN'T do it in one step, it's not possible to select a table AND its surronding and set the hide when for everything at once. You can select it, but hide when will only be set for some of the stuff.
If there is one single line that is not hidden in the tab, then it will be visible.

Oracle APEX: URL column in interactive grid cannot be edited

I have an interactive grid in an APEX application, and one of the columns (header ATTACHMENT) has URLs that open in a new tab. However, as part of the functionality of an interactive grid, I am unable to edit the URL within this column. All the columns are editable, but since I changed this column to a 'Link' the user cannot edit it. I also tried single row view, but same.
Is this possible?
Thanks
See my interactive grid
How about specifying the same column (attachment) twice? One would be used for editing purposes, and another one as a link. Something like this:
select
id,
attachment edit_url,
'Link' link_url
from your_table
ID is the primary key column
EDIT_URL is a usual Text Field
LINK_URL is a Link column
its "Query only" property has to be set to "Yes"
"Escape special characters" set to "No"
When you run the page, it'll show 3 columns; EDIT_URL will be editable. Once you modify that column's value and save the changes, LINK_URL will reflect that change and - when you click the "Link" word in that column, it'll lead you to the modified URL.

How to add rows with values already predefined?

In Oracle APEX I have a tabular form that returns one row and has cancel, delete, submit, and add row buttons. When I click the add row button it adds an empty row to the form but I would like it to add a new row with certain columns already filled in containing the same data as the first row. I was thinking I'd have to add a PL/SQL process to the page. How would I go about doing this?
You could set the default value for each column in the report to be based on the value of a hidden item (a hidden item per column) and set the values of these hidden items in a page load process by running the same query that populates the first row of the report.

How to Hide/Show of UI component in oracle adf

I am new to oracle adf in my application one of the field is id and it is sequence generated value Whenever I entered remaining values and click on save then only it has to display with sequence generated value before saving it has to be in hide mode. Can any one help me how the approach is.
set visible property for seq field. like below
visible="#{binding.filedName.inputValue != null}"
by default seq field value is null so it will not display. once u click save button, this field value to be set to next seq value so it will display
Just remove this value from UI and do your number generation for this field in model.
You can set the visible attribute of the field in your page to be based on an expression language such as #{viewScope.showfield}, then add a setPropertyListener to your save button that sets the #{viewScope.showfield} to true.
