Download dinamically filtered IR - oracle

I have an application that launches the same IR page from different menus. The IR source is a dynamically filtered table, such as:
select *
from my_table
where f_mfilter(:P1_MENU_ID,V('APP_USER'),ROWID) = 'TRUE'
When I try to download this IR using Actions->Download I get an empty result with just the header.
How can I get the same result in the downloaded file as I see on the screen?
The APEX version is 21.1.6

Have you added P1_MENU_ID to the Page Items to Submit attribute of your region? This will make sure that the value is available when the download or any Ajax operation is performed.

Grafana Table Panel 'clickable' and use it to drill down to a more detailed view

Is it possible to have a Table Panel in Grafana, and when you click on a row, it shows a graph from another set of time series?
I see there is a feature request for it, but I'm not sure it's available yet
https://github.com/grafana/grafana/issues/5481
Looking for any suggestions on making the rows in a Table Panel
'clickable' and use it to drill down to a more detailed view (another
dashboard using Template variables). Currently displaying a summary of
several servers as rows in a Table Panel and we want to select an
individual row (i.e a server) to drill down to a more detailed
Dashboard.
Any ways to do this?
Thanks
You can achieve this also in 4.x by defining a link for a table column (in the Column Styles section under Visualization). The link can refer to another dashboard and embed current cell's value (or other cell in the same row) as a parameter.
For example the link Url can be:
/d/c9xaXx5Zz/tree-node?var-datasource=$datasource&var-interval_id=${__cell_1}&from=$__from&to=$__to&var-path=root
In Grafana 6 or above you can preserve the time range filter using the $__from and $__to built-in vars.
The available built-in variables to access cell contents are not well documented, but they can be found by hovering over the (i) icon of the Url in the table panel.
More info on built-in vars: https://grafana.com/docs/reference/templating/#global-built-in-variables
The feature request you linked to is a duplicate of this one which links to this Pull Request. The PR was recently merged so it is available now as a nightly build and will be included in the upcoming 5.0.0 release in September/October.
Drill Down Option can be used from General option from Grafana Dashboard.
Copy the link in the Url of the table which you want to show. Change the items in the variable part which is changing according to the need.It will be of format var-name=value
The link URL works well if you are linking to another dashboard, but it does not work well if you are changing a variable on the same dashboard as it does not auto-refresh.
You can add JavaScript into the URL instead of a link.
javascript:$('a.variable-value-link').trigger('click'); $('span:contains(${__cell:raw})').closest('a').trigger('click');
The JavaScript only works for a single dropdown, it would have to be updated if there were multiple dropdowns. I worked on this quickly, so I am sure there is a better way to use JavaScript to change the variable. It basically opens the dropdown, finds the value from the current row and selects it.

Oracle Application Express - Form Fields not Populated with Data

By default, when creating an application with Report + Form pages, you would get something like this (and I initially did):
Report Page
Form Page (when pencil is clicked on the Report Page)
This is what my Form Page looks after making some changes to the application
Form fields are not being populated anymore, even though data source is set as a corresponding database column for every field. Does anyone have a clue why the values are suddenly not showing anymore? Which attributes are responsible for displaying data on a Form Page?
When you click on the edit pencil in your report Apex sends you to the form page with a parameter that uniquely identifies the record that you want to edit. This parameter can be the Primary Key or the RowID. You can see this in the URL of the Form page that will look something like this: apex.somewhere.com/pls/apex/f?p=4350:1:220883543::::ROWID:AAAAECAABAAAAgiAAA
Most probably you are not sending the parameter from the Report to the Form page. Go on your Report, click on Attributes and at the Link Attribute be sure to set your ROWID(or PK) from Form Page with the value of the ROWID from the Report Page. Something like in the below img (3 is my form page in this example):

Action filters across dashboards without switching sheets in Tableau 9.2

In Tableau 9.2, how can I use a filter which filters from one dashboard to another so that when I trigger it, it does not switch dashboards? I have found this answer online, yet the poster cautions that their method should only be used for V7 and not V9.
Create another action as a filter in the sheet you want to stay in and select all of the dashboards as source and target. As this is the newest action it should make you stay in the same sheet while you keep applying different filters to your data.
In the Dashboard Menu go to Actions and add a Filter,in the filter select source dashboard and select other dashboard as target. This will redirect you to different tab.
You could use a parameter along with calculated fields, or use the JavaScript API
Filter actions also change to the target sheet or dashboard, if not already in focus (as you found out)
If you are doing single selection and your list of values is relatively stable, you could use a parameter instead -- loading the initial values from your field. And then define calculated fields that access the parameter value and use those fields on filter shelves as desired.
Changing a parameter value does not change the view to a target sheet -- unlike a filter action.
The downside of this approach is that the parameter values are not loaded dynamically from a data source and that parameters can only have a single value.
Another option could be to use the JavaScript API in some way. You could listen for changes to the selection, and take whatever action you want in response. That only works if you publish to Tableau Server, and you may want to then pull out some of the navigation controls into your own HTML/CSS -- say to filter the second dashboard just before switching to it.

Oracle APEX default value not working on cascaded items

I have a blank page with a static content region (Template = Form Region). I select a project via a select list (there is only one project, so it automatically selects it). I then have a key popup lov (a popup lov that displays the description not the returned number value) from which I select a person to be in this project. I am trying to get the form to display the person I selected and saved previously when the form launches for the first time (since the project is chosen due to there being one). This works when you refresh the page, but it doesn't work if you log out and log back into the form. I tried using the default value with a sql query. I tried using a dynamic action that fires when the project changes; but neither approaches work. I fiddled with all the settings, but couldn't get anything to work. Does anyone know how to accomplish this in Oracle APEX?
I even added a refresh of the cascading popup lov to the dynamic action. I can see the hidden input item showing my defaulted value, but the popup lov does not display it on screen. Is this an Oracle bug?
Also in Javascript from the console
$s("P51_LINE_MANAGER1", "7104");
sets the hidden value, but doesn't display on screen.
$v("P51_LINE_MANAGER1");
does however return 7104.

Hyperlink in Oracle Reports (.RDF) Content using Oracle Report Builder

I am not sure if this is the correct forum to ask this question,
I am currently creating an oracle report (.RDF) using Oracle Report Builder and my client wants me to place hyperlinks in the content instead of putting URL in the content.
This report is going to be generated as PDF.
My current sentence looks like
Click here (http://international.usp.ac.fj/?page_id=114) to see USP
member countries.
The URL automatically converts to hyperlink in the above sentence.
What my client wants:
Click here to see USP member countries.
I tried to look for an option where I can use HTML <a> tag.
I would like to know if there is a way to include hyperlinks in Oracle Reports.
Thanks
What you could in order to achieve this is, select property inspector of item you would like to have hyperlink and choose Hyperlink.
Also choose Yes for Contains HTML Tags.
Format for passing dynamic values in URL is
http://www.google.com?pid=&DEPTNO where DEPTNO is the value in report.
Update
This is what I did to achieve your expected output, you could modify based on your requirements
Created sql query for the source
select 'Click here' txt from dual
Select Property Inspector for the field
Added link in Hyperlink property and selected Yes in Contains
HTML Tags
To see the output, generate report as PDF or run report in web
browser.
Hope this helps.
