Can someone suggest how to install 3.2.0 version of kustomize on Windows, please?
I need specifically v3.2.0 on Windows. I am following this tutorial.

I downloaded the zip file and installed Go. However when I run go install . inside that kustomize folder i get: no Go files in path/kustomize/..
Also tried step by step aforementioned tutorial but same error..
EDIT: Trying to install via https://github.com/kubernetes-sigs/kustomize/blob/master/hack/install_kustomize.sh ./install_kustomize.sh 3.2.0 I get: Version v3.2.0 does not exist.
When I try ./install_kustomize.sh 3.2.1 I get:
tar (child): ./kustomize_v*_windows_amd64.tar.gz: Cannot open: No such file or directory

Env: Windows 10, executing in GIT Bash
You'll need to run go install ./cmd/kustomize/.
That is where the main.go is you want built.
This will install the executable in your %GOBIN%.
You might want to use go build -o kustomize.exe ./cmd/kustomize/ instead to get the executable in your current working directory.

i am getting below error :

i have tried installtion of

then check for your path , if its not set then use below command :
PATH="${PATH}:${HOME}/go/bin"
The error is specifically for protoc-genc-grpc-gateway which is distinct from proto-gen-go-grpc.
See the Installation instructions that include protoc-gen-grpc-gateway.
You will also need that the plugin is in your host's PATH. On Linux you can which protoc-gen-grpc-gateway to confirm this after installation.
I'm trying to Build IPFS from Source on windows 10.
Previously i installed it from source.It was working fine. But i needed the latest source so i started again from the scratch. because i edited some parts in the source.
I followed instructions on https://github.com/ipfs/go-ipfs/blob/master/docs/windows.md.

I solved this problem by following method. not sure this will be a good solution or not. any way i could solve the issue.
I'm posting this as a answer. so it will be useful to everyone who has the same issue.
1) Deleted go-ipfs folder inside the "%GO_WORKSPACE% / .... / ipfs" folder.
2) Git clone the go ipfs repo manually on the same location.
3) go inside go-ipfs folder.
4) execute install command.
make install
Done on Windows.
Save IPFS (kubo) to some folder inside %GOPATH% (I cloned https://github.com/ipfs/kubo) to folder %GOPATH%\kubo
Important cd %GOPATH%\kubo\cmd\ipfs\
go install
ipfs.exe was placed in %GOPATH%\bin
I launched it as daemon - works.
BTW: GOROOT is defined and path to go is included in PATH

an Error appears:

to solve it I have tried to update
go1.6.3 to go1.7 using solution - changeing go version manually
after steps go version is showing go1.4.2, but the previous error still complains on go version 1.6.3.
Also, I have tried to install "gvm" using bash < <(curl -s -S -L https://raw.github.com/moovweb/gvm/master/binscripts/gvm-installer) , whenever I try to call gvm install go1.7 it brings
-bash: gvm: command not found
whenever I retry running gvm-installer it says
ERROR: Already installed!
Any help is highly appreciated!!

I'm working on a project which was written in Python 2, and I'm upgrading it to Python 3. So far, I've just been finding minor syntax errors which are easily fixable. What I've done is created a new project in Python 3, ensured that it worked, and copies chunks of code from the old project into the new one.
Right now, I'm having trouble with pysvn. Initially, I was getting this error:
ImportError: No module named 'pysvn'
At this point, I tried using pip install pysvn, which didn't work. I got the following:
pip install pysvn
Collecting pysvn
Could not find a version that satisfies the requirement pysvn (from versions:)
No matching distribution found for pysvn
So then after a bit of research, I went to the pysvn download site and tried:
>pip install --index-url http://pysvn.tigris.org/project_downloads.html pysvn, which gave me this error:

The repository located at pysvn.tigris.org is not a trusted or secure host and is being ignored. If this repository is available via HTTPS it is recommended to use HTTPS instead, otherwise you may silence this warning and allow it anyways with '--trusted-host pysvn.tigris.org'.
and also the same error as when I tried >pip install pysvn.
My next step was to manually download the .exe file for the version I needed, and I was able to successfully install pysvn. I have checked the site-packages directory, and pysvn is indeed there, but pip still can't tell me anything about it:

I was able to verify that the installation of pysvn was successful because my project now runs instead of giving me that ImportError.
So why can pip not give me information for another module in the same directory that was successfully installed?
As it turns out, because I didn't use pip install for pysvn, pip didn't know that pysvn existed. Because it wasn't available from PyPI (the Python Package Index), there was no way that pip could see it (because that's where pip goes first to find packages that it's attempting to install).
From the pip user guide:
pip supports installing from PyPI, version control, local projects, and directly from distribution files.
Since I had eventually downloaded pysvn from its own download site (which was not any of the above 4 options) and ran the .exe manually, pip simply doesn't know about it even though it's in the same directory as other packages installed by pip.
I suppose I could've also retrieved the distribution files and used pip with those, but my workaround did the trick.
My way on linux:

I was trying to install external packages in GO language. I've found many external packages at http://godashboard.appspot.com/package.
I am working on windows system.
I tried this command to install go-router package.
goinstall go-router.googlecode.com/svn/trunk
This resulted in following error....

I am unable to find out the reason for the error and the meaning of status code. I've read the goinstall command description but no luck..
It seems make command is missing. Make sure it's installed and that PATH variable is defined correctly.
