.svc could not be activated. See the servers diagnostic trace logs for more information. Application error - epicorerp

I am new to the Epicor DBM role and ran into this issue today.
When looking into this, I noticed that recycling the app pool is one solution. Since we are a large production facility, that is a last resort. It will boot everyone out of Epicor, and halt production for a few minutes. We usually reboot every Sunday to avoid any down time. I also noticed another solution in the Epicor Admin Console about recycling there and could not find it. Has anyone else had this issue, and how did you resolve it?

Not able to run .Net 5 application in Kestrel but runs fine on IIS Express

I am attempting to create a .Net 5 web application from scratch using an empty template. I would like the application to run on IIS Express and on Kestrel. But every time I run the application using CLI I end up getting the following error.

It's true, change the port!
Somethings using it - and it's probably you! This happens to me all the time after running test in development then switching to a published build. Some client connections still lingering around from development I presume.
On Windows you can issue the following command to see whats listening on the port.
netstat -a -n -o | find "5001"
Match the PID of the listener to the process listed in the task manager.

Seems that you have more than one instance of TFS installed on the machine, or databases left from another TFS instance. Cleaning these up should help.

What might be causing this issue?
The error Visual studio gives me is:
Error 2 Web deployment task failed. ((1-10-2012 18:54:34) An error occurred when the request was processed on the remote computer.)
(1-10-2012 18:54:34) An error occurred when the request was processed on the remote computer.
The server experienced an issue processing the request. Contact the server administrator for more information. 0 0 Database

For some reason my installation of Webdeploy 3 did not work well (tried reinstalling too) with ms authentication, created a sql auth connectionstring and it resolved the issue.

SSRS report error in AX 2012

I am trying to create a basic SSRS report in Visual Studio 2010 with AX 2012.
I want to display basic CustTable data. When i link the dataset with the query CustTableSRS (a query in AOT), i get an error.
The error says,
A call to SSPI failed, see inner exception.
This doesnt happen if i do the same steps in AX 2009 with Visual Studio 2008.
On googling, i found that this has something to do with "misconfigured SPN".
SPN is Server Principal Name, a name given to a server instance in a Kerboros environment. But i am not able to set it right.
I am using AX2012 image running on Oracle VirtualBox.
Note: Sorry, not able to post screenshot since i am a newbie :)

Try to do the same as Administrator, in order to see if same error arises. If Reporting is working properly, this is the first thing to try.
And for this type of developments, it's critical to have all CIL entirely compilated, and services (and service groups, there's one beginning by SRS and other by SAS) deployed. Check that the configuration client used by VS has properly configurated the services communications.

WCF service attempting to read mdf file

I have a Silverlight application, developed in VS2010 and deployed on Server 2008.
The application calls a WCF service within the project to read an mdf file, again within the application.
After getting through a number of what can only be called bugs within the VS deployement system (missing out the svc.cs file, placing the references in a folder the service can't see) I have managed to get it running.
The problem I'm having is that the service fails after a few seconds. Using WCF Storm I was able to run the service and get the following error information:
removed, see comments and below
has anyone any suggestions as to how to fix this? I'm getting to the end of my tether with WCF services!
Thanks in advance

Edit:
I have now activated errors in the web.config (thanks Upendra Chaudhari) and it has given the following error:

It looks like the service cannot see the database. I'm not particularly experienced with this sort of thing so I may be missing something important.
Within VS2010 I have the mdf file inside App_Data within the webpage. The service is within the services folder. I have published the site and moved the files and folders to a new folder within wwwroot. Any ideas?
Thanks again

Your problem is one of these:
your connection string is wrong:you must open web.config file in your web part of your project and right that.
database system is inaccessible because:
the database computer is turn off
firewall or antivirus of database system is active
