Checking the API docs I've found it's possible to manage apps in tracks, but I can't find any way to create tracks via API. Anybody knows if it's possible somehow?
I would like to programmatically create tracks for closed testing for specific apps, but the API seems to not allow this.

I have a situation where I need to invite users to to be able to watch a private playlist on videos on Youtube.
I have found information about this at: Add or remove access to your YouTube channel
However that uses the user interface (Youtube page) and I'm looking for doing it in a programmatic way.
The best I found about managing channels is this: Implementation: Channels however there is nothing about invites and access removing.
Is there a way to invite users and and remove a user's permission using the YouTube API or a library?
Thanks.
No there is no way to add or remove permissions on channels though the YouTube Data api.
You might want to check though the issue log and see if anyone has already submitted a feature request for this. YouTube Issue forum.
Using the Google Play Developer API, there seems to be plenty of ways to make edits to an existing app.
https://developers.google.com/android-publisher/api-ref
Looking through the API it seems all the API requests uses "packageName".
e.g.
POST https://www.googleapis.com/androidpublisher/v3/applications/packageName/edits
This indicates that you already need to have an app available, with at least 1 APK already uploaded.
This is fine for editing an existing app. However, how can I create a new app using the API, without an existing listing or APK added?
Hello there i'm in a situation where i need to register a lot of new cast apps and i'm wondering if there is any API to do this task instead of doing it manually one by one on the SDK Developer Console as the docs suggest. I already created one Cast app that is working correctly so i'm familiarized with this console. But i haven't been able to find any documentation regarding some API to make this proccess more automated.
We do not have bulk registrations.
I've discovered the Google Play API which seems to be quite convenient for several tasks related to the APKs. However, I'd also like to change the developer name (which can be found under "Google Play Developer Console"->"Settings"->"Account Details"->"Developer Name"-Field) programmatically.
So far, I have not discovered yet how you can do this with the Play API. Therefore my question: Is is possible to update the Developer Name via e.g. a python script and without using a regular web browser?
No, there isn't a way to change your developer name via an API call. You could write a bot to do that for you, but I don't know if you are allowed to that.
However if you are going to write a bot I would recommend you using Selenium
Hello I am currently writing a native SoundCloud application for OSX. In order to write that application I need an object oriented wrapper that gives me the SoundCloud data in form of objects. Now I have several questions regarding the api:
Users are allowed to forbid access to their songs via third party applications, I guess this a protection to avoid that the songs are downloaded, are there made any exceptions for third party developers?
SoundCloud itself is not only using the public api but also some other private api's, am I allowed to use them if I arrange it with you(with the api-team)? (The reason why I am asking that is that the public api is not reflecting all data for example the me/activities endpoint does not reflect the user that reposted a song.)
If no, will you allow it in the future?
With private api's I mean endpoints that are hosted under the url api-v2.soundcloud.com
Thank you in advance for an answer.
Artists can forbid access to tracks for third party apps which was the reason why I didn't get any tracks for the playlist.
