Outlook 2019 launches Edge notice OR Blank Edge Chromium Screen

Recently, opening Outlook 2019 is triggering a Edge browser announcing "Your Organization is moving to Microsoft Edge"...with about 6 or so following "Nexts"...I cannot seem to surpress it (we use Google Chrome as default). That aside, for a few, a blank white Edge window opens instead, which I presume is the same thing but failing to display the content...I cannot get it to stop, even by launching the URL from a working machine and running through the "wizard"...seems like blowing away Edge or Windows profile might be the only solution (or something else common to them...they are all similar machines, same MDT image load)...they are virtual machines though (come to think of it as I type this). Our others are physical PCs.
I ran into the same issue. When Outlook 2019 launches it opens a white Edge window that is unresponsive. The issue is triggered only when a user signs into Edge to setup account sync. If there is no user sign in then issue does not occur.
After many hours of troubleshooting the issue was resolved by setting the following registry entry:
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Edge\IEToEdge
RedirectMode 2

Unable to accept the privacy policy from Pycharm on Raspberry Pi

ScreenshotI have installed PyCharm(2020.3.1) on my Raspberry Pi (Kuhnbus RevPi3). When I start PyCharm the privacy policy window is displayed for acceptance. The problem is that the window is just a grey field without text, checkboxes, etc, which keeps me from accepting the policy and starting PyCharm.
Has anyone encountered a similar problem with PyCharm on the Pi? Thank you for your suggestions.

Image slider in tensorboard automatically goes to end while user scrolls through images

I am using TensorBoard 2.2.0 to visualize my input image to a neural network in PyTorch. After running the code and I try to go through the recorded image data. However, when I try to browse it the image slider automatically jumps from the current step to the last step after some time. Any reason why this could be happening.
I am launching the tensorboard using this command -
tensorboard --logdir runs --samples_per_plugin images=0
I fell through a similar dilemma. You could turn off the relead after 30s option from settings in the tensorboard. GitHub issue on the same

xfce, widgets gone, right-click (ctrl-click on mac) doesn't work

I installed xfce4 on an AWS EC2 instance and was able to use it through vnc on my Mac. The xfce windows manager had some widgets I could use to do some simple things like start an xterm. Something changed, all the widgets are gone, all that remains is a box in the center with 3 check fields
"Accept clipboard from viewers"
"Send clipboard to viewers"
"Send primary selection to viewers".
I uninstalled and reinstalled xfce4 on the AWS EC2 instance as an attempt to get the widges back. No luck. I googled on how to set widgets up and got instructions to start with right-click to get to menus. But right-click (ctrl-click on my Mac) doesn't work.
Stuck.
Again, this was working before. I may have inadvertently done something when I was trying to resize the windows manager, but I can't remember what.
Can anyone help ?
Thanks in advance
Problem solved. There were dangling vncserver procs out there with no vnc/pid and vnc/.log files. Found them with ps, killed them, restarted vncserver and Voila!

Can't access internet after installing vagrant?

I was following this new edx course on Big data on Apache spark. For setting up environment I was told to install virtual-box and vagrant. After installing box and vagrant I restarted my laptop. My modem was working fine, Windows was showing Ethernet connection active but when I try to open any browser and search it was reported that can't connect to internet. I tried uninstalling both box and vagrant but no use. I even restored my system to state when these both applications were not installed but still I can't access internet. What should I do? I'm using Windows 8.1
Just googled a bit and found this:
http://thomascgreen.com/tech/?p=26
Seems to be a working solution.
In any case this is how I got it working again. First go to:
Control Panel > Network and Sharing Center > Change Adapter Settings
Right click on the connection you are having a problem with. In my
case it was “Wireless Network Connection”. On this menu select
“Properties”.
Notice there is a line here that says “Virtual Box Bridged Networking
Driver”. This is Vagrant watching the connection, is my guess.
When I unchecked the box in front of “Virtual Box Bridged Networking
Driver” my internet connection started working again.
Now at this point I started using Google to find out what was going
on. I never found a solution or reason. After searching I rechecked
the box. And everything started working again.
I would also advice to disable/enable all network cards, from the "network connections" panel. (right click on the networks, open the "Network center" and then go to to "update parameters" (I don't have the exact english labels, my Windows isn't in English). It may fix the issue.
