TortoiseGIT not showing in menu Windows 11 - tortoisegit

I have installed Tortoise GIT into Windows 11 and its not showing at all in the context menus, both the normal menu or the windows 11 menu
I have uninstalled and reinstalled loads of times
Has anyone had this? Its a major pain for me as I use it constantly

This is a known issue, see https://gitlab.com/tortoisegit/tortoisegit/-/issues/3975 and seems to be based on a change in Windows 11 (cf. Why is IExplorerCommand::Invoke() no longer being called?).
A new preview release will be available soon.

Visual Studio 2017 Community 15.9.5 requires a newer version of Windows to display Content, but newer windows is banned

when i want to see design of
Mainpage.xaml
autocreated by VS Windows Universal Blank App it shows me that i need newer Windows (pic)
then, when i try to update, Windows Update Manager cant find newer version of System. It is caused by re-released version of Windows from October 2018
Have you any idea how to fix that? Any fixes fron internet like this, and this, didn't helped me.
Solved by old question here.
What You have to do is:
From menu bar select Project
YOUR_PROJECT Properties
Change Target version to Windows 10(10.0)

Visual Studio 2015 Jump List Icons Missing

I am not sure how this happened, but I can't find a fix from searching the interwebs. All of a sudden my Jump Lists for VS2015 (other programs work fine) show the generic icon. Has anybody ran across this and know a fix? FWIW I am running Windows 10 Enterprise.
Ok, So I enrolled into the Windows Insider Program and after updating to Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14366 I got my icons back. So it appears that at some point this was patched by Microsoft.

Any way to install VS 2013 without IE 11?

I'm trying to install VS2013 but it won't be installed without having IE 11 installed .
IE 11 from some weird reason refuses to be installed .
Is there any way to install VS 2013 without having IE 11 also installed ?
Here is my solution :
Change the registery
Click run-->regedit
Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Internet Explorer
Change the value of svcVersion to 10 , and you're done.
(This should be added comment to the question, but I don't have enough reputation points)
I currently have VS 2013 with just IE 10 and it works fine. Do you have the latest VS 2013 ISOs? The reason I ask is that the requirement for IE 11 was removed in one of the updates to VS.

Internet Explorer 9 Crashes

I open Internet Explorer 9: i type browse to Google the page load and as it finishes loading the (Tab) Hangs i cant click any links or do any thing, however i can open new tab and type in another site while the other tab is hanging but once i type any site in the new tab it hangs too and so on!
the internet explorer 9 64bit works fine.!
here is what i tried to do:
Turned off Internet Explorer 9 Feature from "Turn on/Off Features"
in control panel, then turned it on, didn't fix the problem.
downgraded to internet explorer 8, and same issue happened in IE8
too !!!. so i upgraded back to IE9 (issue remains).
Switched to Software rendering, (didn't fix problem).
Updated my graphics card to latest driver.
Opened IE9 with no Adds on.
Disabled all adds-on
all this didn't fix the problem!
i need to make it work because i need to do UI Test Automation by Visual studio 2010, and i cant get it to work for Fire-Fox v13 i guess its not supported.
any one faced this problem before and know how to fix it ?
im using Windows 7 64bit
If you have access to and can install VS2010 Feature Pack 2, I believe it supports running coded ui tests in Firefox. There is information on that At MSDN, however, that page recommends Firefox 3.5 or 3.6.

JDK 7 Windows 7 Automatic installation

Last week, I just found along with Windows update got JDK 7 installed. I uninstalled it as I don't need it. But after restarting machine, JDK 7 got installed again.
Is there anyway to solve this issue?
This is list of actions for Windows XP.
Control Panel-> Java. Go to the tab Update and uncheck "check for updates automatically". Afterwards, go to Control Panel->Add or remove programs and uninstall JDK 7 from there.
