Docker Compose failed to build - Filesharing has been cancelled

I've ran into an issue with Docker Desktop, currently im running the edge version as a user on Stackoverflow. Before I got the drive not shared for unknown reason error which was "solved" by installing edge version: Docker for Windows: Drive sharing failed for an unknown reason
Now that this was installed im getting this new error which prevents some containers from being built. These containers have all been tested and works on several other systems. Currently 3 out of 4 containers are not built and they all produce the same error as below:
ERROR: for db Cannot create container for service db: status code not OK but 500: {"Message":"Unhandled exception: Filesharing has been cancelled"}

Has anyone encountered this issue before and found a fix?
You need to update File Sharing configuration in your Docker for Windows app (there is a new security hardening in 2.2.0.0 which has agressive defaults). Add all folders you need and then restart Docker for Windows.
After changing "File Sharing" to C Drive its start working in my windows machine. I am using docker desktop 2.3.0.3
I am using Docker in Windows 10 and had the same problem.
The solution suggested by Oleg Nenashev and Rejoanul Alam helped me.
Adding the project dir where the Dockerfile lives or C:/ to docker shared folders solves the problem.
Step 6 from Getting started states:
Shared folders, volumes, and bind mounts
If your project is outside of the Users directory (cd ~), then you need to share the drive or location of the Dockerfile and volume you are using.
If you get runtime errors indicating an application file is not found, a volume mount is denied, or a service cannot start, try enabling file or drive sharing.
Volume mounting requires shared drives for projects that live outside of C:\Users (Windows) or /Users (Mac), and is required for any project on Docker Desktop for Windows that uses Linux containers.
For more information, see File sharing on Docker for Mac, and the general examples on how to Manage data in containers.
If you are using Oracle VirtualBox on an older Windows OS, you might encounter an issue with shared folders as described in this VB trouble ticket. Newer Windows systems meet the requirements for Docker Desktop for Windows and do not need VirtualBox.
I have meet this problem and my environment is windows. first when the issue happen, I chance the file sharing path to C: , and my project path is in G: ,so the command docker-compose up fail, and the massage is:
docker: Error response from daemon: status code not OK but 500 {"Message":"Unhandled exception: Filesharing has been cancelled"}
I think the file sharing must include your project path. because when I set my file sharing path in other file path , it doesn't work, however, i chance it to the path where is my project path, docker-compose up do successfully!
I had the same error and answers of Oleg Nenashev and Rejoanul Alam helped me to solve this error.
My task was to share volumes between containers.
I have a website folder with file index.html inside:
Open Docker Desktop Settings and write the address of the folder you are working with in File Sharing:
After this open this folder in your command prompt and add the necessary Docker command:
If the command is correct and you did all steps attentively it must be working fine.

Azure custom script extension stuck. not able to rerun or delete extension

I was trying to run a custom script on my scaleset vm due to the wrong location of the sh file the exeuction failed. but after that when I try to remove (az vmss extension delete) or rerun(az vmss extension set ) the custom script with correct url I keep getting the same error. It is stuck. How do I fix it.
Deployment failed. Correlation ID:
249a034f-76e2-4b0d-beb2-e9c6577623d1. VM has reported a failure when
processing extension 'customScript'. Error message: "Enable failed:
processing file downloads failed: failed to download file[0]: failed
to download file: http request failed: Get
https://wrongurl.blob.core.windows.net/script/deploytemp.sh: dial tcp:
lookup wrongurl.blob.core.windows.net on 164.33.122.16:53: no such
host".
Delete the instance and rebuild it!
It might not be the answer to delete the instance and rebuilding it, but applications on VMSS by nature should be resilient enough to let you do so.
Also, I'm curious if auto-healing/remediation helps you on this, I know that it does not reinstall the extension tough.

Unable to create/open lock file: \data\db\mongod.lock

I am follwing this tutorial: I am using 64-bit Windows 7 computer.
http://docs.mongodb.org/manual/tutorial/install-mongodb-on-windows/
I have installed MongoDB and starts the MongoDB file from the command prompt. Then I get the following error message:
Unable to create/open lock file: \data\db\mongod.lock
I don't know how to solve that problem.
Delete the mongod.lock file in the /data/db folder
Restart mongodb
I was experiencing a similar problem and i noted that some MongoDB processes were running in the background when i opened the task manager. so after i terminated the tasks and went to the mongod.lock file i was now able to delete it.

websphere not starting with error ADMU7704E

I created websphere server. I was able to launch my application with it. However after I enable the debugging , the server is not starting. I am getting the following error
"ADMU7704E: Failed while trying to start the Windows Service associated with
server: server1; probable error executing WASService.exe"
On some sites a workaround was to delete server.pid file but I am not seeing any such files in the location.
Please suggest
The first thing to test is to disable the WAS Windows service from Windows Services Panel and then try to start server using command line ie startserver.bat
You run this command from PROFILE_HOME/bin. if this starts fine, you can recreate the service using wasservicecmd
http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21397335
If the manual startup fails , please check if any logs created under PROFILE_HOME/logs// Check for any error messages in SystemOut.log, SystemErr.log , native_stderr and native_stdout logs.
PROFILE_HOME is home directory of WAS profile.

Run Webapp stored on network drive in Visualstudio

Im going crazy! I hope you can help me with an advice.
Inside Virtualbox I do run a Windows Server 2008 R2. On this machine im trying to debug a webapplication inside Visualstudio 2010. the webbapplication is stored on a network drive.
Well the network drive is truly a partition of my hdd. because of the shared folder the virtual machine recognize it like an network drive but in my opinion i doesnt matter to the actual problem.
When i try to start the applition a get an error like this:
Server Error in '/' Application.
Configuration Error
Description: An error occurred during the processing of a
configuration file required to service this request. Please review the
specific error details below and modify your configuration file
appropriately.
Parser Error Message: An error occurred loading a configuration file:

SP1\SitefinityWebApp\web.config Line: 0
Version Information: Microsoft .NET Framework Version:4.0.30319;
ASP.NET Version:4.0.30319.18034
I allready tried get fulltrust to the application via caspol using the following:
C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319\CasPol.exe -m -ag 1 -url "file:////\\VBOXSVR\d_drive\Testing\In Work\5.1 SP1\SitefinityWebApp*" FullTrust -exclusive on
or this
C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319\CasPol.exe -machine -addgroup All_Code -url "E:\Testing\In Work\*" FullTrust
but nothing helped!
Has anybody an solution?
p.s.
if i run the same project on the virtual hdd it works fine!
It seems that network drives can't be monitored by Windows for file changes like local drives can so in fact it matters where you put your source code so your WebApp can automagically reload it on changes - here a possible but maybe outdated solution is given.
