Windows Forms text grows too big when run on another PC

I've got a VB.Net Windows Form application containing several controls (labels, groupboxes, comboboxes, etc.) This application is deployed to several PCs running Windows 10. There are also Win10 tablets connecting to these PCs via Remote Desktop. The issue is that the text on the form sometimes gets resized and overlaps onto other controls when viewed on the tablet. In other words, the text becomes too big.
I thought this was only happening when using Remote Desktop but today I saw it happen on a PC too. This is the first time this has happened. One difference is that the PC was re-imaged in the field instead of being brought back to the office first. The monitors used between the two locations are different, and I'm suspecting this has something to do with it. I know there are DPI and resolution factors to consider but don't fully understand how to rectify them in this case, or if they're even applicable.
Here's how it looks as designed and running on my dev PC:
And here's how it looks when running on the production PC (sorry for the grainy image):
Of note is that some text doesn't appear to get oversized, for example the "Currently: 6 ft/min". All fonts are Microsoft Sans Serif.
Suggestions?
The answer provided here worked for me by changing the compatibility settings for the executable. Another method is provided here but I haven't had a chance to test it yet.

Teamviewer Remote Computer showing black instead of Login Screen

I'm trying to connect to my remote server using teamviewer 12.0.81460. It used to work absolutely fine. But from past few days I see a black screen when I connect using TeamViewer(see attached screenshot). But when I move the cursor it starts showing some points on the screen but that's also not clear. One thing I noticed is that when I connect with remote desktop from another PC and bypass this login screen it works fine. But this login screen has some issue.
The solution I have tried so far:
Changing screen resolution
Disabling black screen on my TeamViewer Settings
Installing a lower version (11) on my PC but
it asks me to upgrade since
remote PC is running latest version.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I know this is late, but i had the a similar issue where i was trying to connect from my windows computer to mac computer and got stuck at a black login screen. The workaround i have found to be useful is as follows:
Type the first letter of the account i wanted to login to
Press ENTER
type account
Press Enter
The screen was still black and shows anything until i reach step 4, it redirects me to the account! This was because although the screen was not working, the keyboard was working on remote computer.

Cannot see default web site in iis in windows 10

I got new pc in office and I had installed IIS from windows feature (on/off) and everything appears good.
When I started iis manager I can just see my pc name i.e.
MyPCName (MyDomainName\MyUserName)
thats it. I can't see anything else. Expanding server doesn't show anything. Right clicking on it just giving three options -
Refresh
Rename
Switch to Content View
I can't see any other option. So far I had re-installed it multiple times. and restarted my pc multiple times, but nothing changed.
Can anyone help?

Images a bit broken in Typo3

I have first experienced troubles with pictures when their size has been generated as 0 when inserted for example as a picture content element. Now I have started using RTE and when I try to insert a picture a windows pops up up with the list of available pictures but when I select one, the popped up windows goes blank and never recovers. When I deploy the app on the server everything works fine. What might be wrong with my local environment?

The parameter is incorrect exception

I'm working on a Windows Phone 7.1 project and got most of my work done and decided to add to the project the images for my tiles (62x62 and 173x173 PNGs) plus the JPG file for the splash screen (SplashScreenImage.jpg 480x800).
Before adding these images to the project my project was running fine! After adding them and setting the tiles images to the 2 new files, my project still builds ok, but when running on the 7.1 simulator (my acer laptop doesn't have hardware assisted virtualization enabled in order to run the wp8 emulator) the app crashes when trying to load MainPage with "The parameter is incorrect" exception (in the Application_UnhandledException handler).
I've been trying to find a solution on the web for the last 1-2 days, found few mentions of this error and few possible causes, but none of my findings helped so far. The exception doesn't say anything helpful and it's getting really frustrating considering that most of the serious work is done and I'm very close to releasing the app to the marketplace.
Did anybody run into this issue before? Any ideas what could have gone wrong and how I could solve this exception? Any help is much appreciated!
Thank you in advance!
Andrei
Whenever I wish to change the Splashscreen and other images, here is what I do:
Locate the file on disk using Windows Explorer.
Open the file using some image editor (I use Paint.NET)
Remove the default image and replace with your image maintaining the dimensions.
Save the image and return to Visual Studio.
Rebuild the entire project.
This works seamlessly without any errors. ;)
