I got new pc in office and I had installed IIS from windows feature (on/off) and everything appears good.
When I started iis manager I can just see my pc name i.e.
MyPCName (MyDomainName\MyUserName)
thats it. I can't see anything else. Expanding server doesn't show anything. Right clicking on it just giving three options -
Refresh
Rename
Switch to Content View
I can't see any other option. So far I had re-installed it multiple times. and restarted my pc multiple times, but nothing changed.
Can anyone help?

Context: I have three web browsers installed on my Windows 10 computer which are Chrome, Firefox, and Opera.
Problem: Whichever browser I newly open, they all start with this website:http://007eecfcfedlkh.jumpkj.chuairan.com/index.html
How it happened: I clicked a link on a website yesterday and it automatically downloaded several applications and automatically installed themselves without showing any instructions to install them.
Thing I have tried: I have reset the browser On startup setting to open my homepage, but it still opens with the aforementioned weird URL.
Thing that may help: Opera browser is very considerate cause it has this option regarding the On startup setting, which is Ask me when Opera is started by a shortcut specifying an URL.
Analysis and need your help: Usually, I start a browser by clicking on the shortcut in Windows start menu, or the shortcut in desktop. This worked normally until the problem appeared. According to Thing that may help, this hostile URL must reside somewhere. Where can I find this unwelcoming shortcut on my computer? How come this shortcut can attach itself to every web browser on my computer? What is the next step I can do to resolve this problem? Is this kind of a virus?
Usually when that happens, you'll have to:
reset the browser settings (or at least reset the startup websites on settings)
go to the browser .exe, open it's properties and remove any flags that were added on the path.
I think you shoud uninstall these applications first.
At one point I was able to see our Outlook add-in app in the target options in f12 devtools for troubleshooting, but sometime last month it stopped showing up there. My colleagues are stumped, and I can't find much online in the way of troubleshooting.
I tried checking my Windows version and Outlook version against others who can see it in their devtools, but we're all on Windows 10 enterprise v1803, Outlook v1910, and IE 11. I've tried many things over the month since this happened like rebooting my PC, making sure I have the latest updates from IT, refreshing the options, running some commands I found online for targeting the right browser for devtools, etc. No change.
Another peculiar thing is that I'm seeing some completely different things in the Add-in than they are, like button alignments and div widths and such. I had our dev environment looking perfect on my end, but when a few people on the team screenshared with me there were a number of styling issues I can't reproduce. Even weirder, nobody experiences these issues in O365, it's just the desktop Outlook app on our Windows machines.
Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this would be very greatly appreciated.
Steps I take to produce the issue:
Click on manifest icon for our app in Outlook ribbon. App loads in the sidebar.
Open F12 devtools (both 32 and 64 bit for good measure from the System32 and SysWOW64 directories).
App is not in the target list. Click refresh, still not in the list.
FYI, any IE 11 windows I have open show up there, just not my app.
Starting in Windows 10 version 1903, the latest version of Office will use Edge WebView instead of IE to render add-ins. Edge WebView requires a different debugger (not the F12 debugger) called Microsoft Edge DevTools. You can find out more about it here.
I have a Surfacebook (first generation) running Windows 10 Enterprise and joined to my company's active directory domain. I'm not sure what happened (as best I can tell now updates were installed nor were any GPO applied), but I woke up to a machine that seems to have several core setting reset. All of my apps that were pinned to my Taskbar and Start Menu were gone, and my app auth tokens were reset, and the two powershell related shortcuts off the context menu of the Start button were no longer mapped to .lnk' files. I'm trying to get these powershell menu items working again and I'm having no luck.

But still it fails. I've checked the permissions, I own the directory and .lnk. I've rebooted and still it didn't work. Anyone know how to get this back to functional? And I would love to have a clue as to what might have caused all this to go haywire.
I've been creating a website on my pc. I installed php, turned on iis, and use dreamweaver and everything works seemlessly, I can test on localhost perfectly. But i want to work on the website elsewhere, like on my laptop or a mac desktop. But i've noticed using the packaged softwares like XAMPP for my windows laptop and mamp for the mac desktop has some problem with going to the next page. Let's say I have two pages, on page 1 after clicking submit it should take you to page 2, works perfectly fine on my pc but on the laptop and mac it just straight up fails to move on, it just redirects back to page 1. Does anyone know what the problem might be and how to fix it?
Also, my laptop won't turn on IIS service, i go to optionalfeatures.exe and turn it on, it takes a while and then says something like "an error occurred, some features not enabled". Which is why i was forced to use XAMPP.
Has anyone encountered the following problem: I have IIS7 running on my computer. On that same computer, I open IE7 and the website works (http://localhost/web.site/Default.aspx). Put that same url in Firefox 3 and I get the welcome screen of IIS7, a big image with IIS7 in the middle and 'Welcome' in several different languages. Clicking on the image leads you to http://www.iis.net/.
One browser accesses your server via 127.0.0.1, and another via your external IP.
Make sure virtualhost works with all network interfaces.
Perhaps your browsers have different locals set , only guessing as I have not used IIS7
Strange. That happened to me this morning (April 9, 2009), but the other way around. I was trying to get to Dell.ca. IE7 brought me to that IIS7 Welcome screen and Firefox brought me to the correct site. Happened 3 times before it corrected itself.
I do not have IIS anywhere on my network and my default home page is Google, which came up without a problem. The redirection occurred when I typed the new URL. I wonder if Dell is using IIS7...
