I have an outlook addin working as expected on all platforms except the following.
Outlook 2016 (16.0.5257.1000) MSO (16.0.5366.1000) 64 bits
Exchange server 15.1 build 1713.5
When I try to install the addin - I get the error below
Error: The section VersionOverrides 1.0 of the manifest is not valid. A Child node of the node VersionOverrides named webapplicationinfo is not valid.
My maniest does contain the webapplicationinfo node which is a part of VersionOverridesV1_0 as per this
What am I missing here ?
Sounds like the host application doesn't support the Identity API 1.3 requirement set required for SSO (see the WebApplicationInfo element).

We got a working Outlook Add-in that uses saveAsync to get the current item id in some cases, usually works fine, but we encountered an edge case we cannot solve:
Some users have M365 with Outlook 16 (Office 2019), build number 16.0.10382.20010, with requirement set 1.6 where we encounter the problem.
The Add-in works fine from Outlook on the Web
The Add-in works fine for Outlook 16 (Office 365), build number 16.0.14729.2019 (requirement set 1.8+)
The Add-in does not work for Outlook 16 (Office 2019) build number 16.0.10382.20010 (highest requirement set supported here is 1.6)
This error only happen for events/items the user did create himself. For events someone else created, where he got invited, the function returns the result and item id just fine.

we have an OBIEE 12.2.1.3.0 server in Linux that currently only has this OBI bundle patch applied:

Since then, there have been 6 more bundle patches that have been released. I was wondering if each one has to be installed in the order they were released as they are considered cumulative, however on Oracles support site they show that they are all superseded by the latest, because well, they are all older than the latest bundle patch.
The latest patch is #32294042, and I was wondering if just that could be installed as it has these patches listed in the 'Bugs Fixed By This Patch" section:

Bundle Patches are always cumulative. You can install the last one.
Generally you should try to stay up-to-date. it's not just application bugs which are fixed but also security bugs. The closer you stay to the current patch level the more secure you are.
I have my website hosted on IIS with window 2016 OS. When I am going to disable the Form Authentication under IIS, it is giving me the following error.

i had a similar issue but it occurred when i was trying to disable the 'Machine key' - 'automatically generate at runtime' and then Applying the same.
For your error, please verify if the authentication is enabled/disabled for Default Web-site. Change that setting and then try disabling you specific websites status. It should ideally work.
I've seen this error stem from three different controls on the authentication method:
If configuring the authentication method on an application, and the authentication method you're trying to disable is enabled on the containing site.
If configuring the authentication method on a site, and the authentication method you're trying to disable is enabled on the Default Web Site.
If configuring the authentication method that has been defined in a web.config file. You should adjust it in the config file.
0xC00CEF03 error code translates to WR_E_NSPREFIXWITHEMPTYNSURI which refers to “Writer: cannot use prefix with empty namespace URI” (Reference).
This error occurs when there is something wrong with the web.config file. It’s probably corrupted or there are incompatible tags and parameters. As a result of this corruption and incompatibility, IIS is not able to read this file. Therefore, it can’t make a change.
The issue mostly happens after migration because a piece of configuration that works in the older version of IIS (and .NET Framework) probably became unsupported in the newer version.
The shortest way of finding what part of the web.config is causing the issue is to remove sections one by one and test. High-level steps:
Remove a section from the bottom of the file (Let’s say you removed system.serviceModel section)
If the issue goes away, add the section back and start removing the subsections of it one by one. (For example, ws2007HttpBinding subsection in system.serviceModel section)
If the issue goes away again, bring the subsection back and go through each lines. Prefixes like wsid:, asm:, and trust: are the most common causes of this issue

In dynamics CRM 2016 I have a custom button that opens up a HTML WebResource and runs some JavaScript.
It works perfectly in our development environment.
However, in our pre-production it gives the message:
500 - Internal server error.
There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed.
F12 Debugging only provides the same message, and i cannot access the specific resources (the code) because it is a managed solution in preproduction.
Google only return very general "500 error fixes", or similar questions that have not been answered, that are very old.
Any suggestions how to go about this?
(And yes I have checked that it is actually pointing at the correct files).
It turns out that in the RibbonWorkbench in the Url command the path called, begins with /Udv/WebResources/myPage.htm, which is a hardcoded part of the development path.
The answer was to change the parameter to $webresource:myPage.htm
I am currently working on an application that allows reverse geocoding using silverlight + bing maps. The thing is that I want to add a reference to the reverse geocoding service provided in msdn ( http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc879136.aspx) i.e. http:// dev.virtualearth.net/webservices/v1/geocodeservice/geocodeservice.svc?wsdl, but when I try to get a reference in vs2010, I get the following error:

The error message from each known type may help you fix the problem:

Content Type application/soap+xml; charset=utf-8 was not supported by service http: //dev.virtualearth.net/webservices/v1/geocodeservice/geocodeservice.svc?wsdl. The client and service bindings may be mismatched.
The remote server returned an error: (415) Unsupported Media Type.
If the service is defined in the current solution, try building the solution and adding the service reference again.
It is good to mention that I can access the service URL from the browser (with a no style information warning). I am aware that there are other reverse geolocoding services out there, but I am somewhat forced by certain circumstances to use only Microsoft-related components/services. Please help :)
I've just tried the same thing and it seems to work fine for me. I saw an article on the MSDN newsgroups that suggest there may have been a problem at some stage with the references (see a post on Bing Map Route Calculation Service) although it mentions that it was the staging URL's that were causing a problem, not those that you're using (as in the article currently). Other than that, are you using the current RC of VS2010? (on the off chance that there were issues in an earlier version)
Might be worth trying again; I've whipped up a stub application at http://code.google.com/p/bingmapssilverlightapp/downloads/list if it's any use.
