I have a model with 2 animations, created in Blender and exported to fbx.
Referencing the XNAnimation.dll works, however when I reference the XNAnimationPipline.dll in the Content project I get a build error.
The "BuildContent" task failed unexpectedly.
System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'XNAnimationPipeline, Version=0.7.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=0c21691816f8c6d0' or one of its dependencies.
The system cannot find the file specified.
File name: 'XNAnimationPipeline, Version=0.7.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=0c21691816f8c6d0'
I have recently upgraded to XNA3.1 and am using the latest XNAnimation library.
Any ideas?

Hi have tried all the solutions in google for the this error nothing worked opened the IIS and checked the Xconnect is stopped while the installation is in process. after installation failure opened the Xconnect url from IIS found that the error is related to System.Memory.dll 4.5.5.0 version reference tried different solutions nothing worked. installation failing at step 68.

I believe that the error means that the DLL does not exist in your web root:
c:/inetpub/wwwroot/[webroot]
In your webroot can you:
Look in your bin folder and see whether the System.Memory.dll exists?
Also. check your web.config file, and specifically the assemblies section and make sure that the System.Memory.dll version name and number is referenced correctly.
For this error, I have tried multiple solutions which is provided by Github. But, none of them worked. Please help to check whether this issue reopen on new environment like below.

A bit late, but I ran in to the same problem today and managed to fix the "Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.VisualStudio.Web.CodeGeneration ..." error by adding the following reference to my integration test project:

I have an "old" XAML Build Definition, made in Visual Studio; which builds a solution and following runs unit tests.
Now I've tried to make the same in the new TFS 2015 web surface.
I've created a build task, following Visual Studio Test.
But now the Test-Task exit with code 1 and gives me a lot of
"System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly" errors.
And also "Warning: MSTestAdapter failed to discover tests in class ..."
All the DLLs are where they have to be, the new definition has the same directory structure like the old one, but the test-task says there are missing assemblys.
Any ideas?

That's probably due to the Linker on your Android project. Is Linking set on "Sdk and User Assemblies"? If yes: You need to compile with a higher Sdk version due to this bug. I hope the link may help you in case you want to keep the linker like that.

This was the deal, when referencing dlls in the C:\EntLib4Src\bin, they are signed and could only be configured by the EntLibConfig.exe found in that same folder and not the one from "Start>Programs>Microsoft Patterns...>Ent Wasn't that tricky?
That means it can't find the file. So you either need to put it into the GAC or the bin folder so that the assembly can be loaded.
