How can do that? any link or suggestion...
It seems that you are looking for a tree control. If you can use jQuery have a look at TreeView plug-in.

I am a beginner with Umbraco. I am able to upload images to the Media Library and then put them onto the page, but for my sidebars I want the images to be clickable links to other parts of my site and other sites.
At the moment I am using the Rich Text Editor to write an anchor tag etc. but this seems ridiculous and I don't want content authors [attempting to be] writing HTML.
It seems like there should be a built-in data type for this, or a property on the image but I see nothing. Do I need to write my own Razor code as a DataType? This seems like such a common thing that I'm surprised there is not a built-in solution.
I'm using 7.2.8
If you're already using the RTE, you can just select the image and click the Link button, then whatever you have selected (in this case the image) should become a link. No need to make your own HTML :-)
On my website I have a download, but I want it to display the number of downloads next to the download Button. I have found websites that do It for you, but It gives me an HTML link instead of a button.
A bit like the counter here www.minecraft.net
My Site www.Go-Create.Net/game
Thanks! : )
Added Some JavaScript to log how many times the link is clicked. That is saved into a .txt file which is then displayed where ever I want.
I have a project with hundreds of pages classes and controls. many of them are excluded but as they appear in the project browser they clutter it and make it difficult to find the files I need. I don't want to delete them since every once in a while i get back to them for review. is there any way to show/hide the excluded files with a button toggle?
I don't have the button for show all files. see picture:
Yes, there is a button to hide/show excluded files.
The button is under solution explorer tab.
Please check this link for VS2008:

Important Update:
After trials on VS2012 I found out that if you create New Web Site the hide/show button will not appear for no apparent reason. However, if you create New Project the hide/show button will appear!! So, it seems that you have to avoid creating New Web Site... but create New Project instead to have the button on Solution explorer. Try moving your work to a New Project rather than your current solution Good Luck!

If I understood correctly your question, basically you need two things:
make sure that the filebrowser plugin is available in your CKEditor package - this plugin makes it possible to attach external file managers to CKEditor
...and you need some file manager.
There is an official ajax file manager for CKEditor created by CKSource and it is called CKFinder. If you decide to give it a try make sure to check the documentation
I am creating a Firefox extension that is somewhat similar to Firebug. There is a panel (or vbox) at the bottom of the browser that allows users to specify colors to certain Html elements. When they click the OK button, I would like these colors to get updated on the current web page.
I have my JavaScript working when I click the button (i am just throwing an alert), however when I change that JavaScript to change the css or styles of an element (by either using document.getElementById or jquery), nothing changes.
Is there something with Firefox extensions that I am missing? Any help is appreciated.
Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks

You want content.document.getElementById() and similarly for every other construct you use.
