Visual Studio Option hangs - visual-studio-2010

Have anyone experience a problem when you click OK button in Visual Studio 2010, VS would hangs? VS used 100% of cpu power of one of cores. Event I didn't change any setting and click OK, it would still run into this issue.

I imported the default "Visual C# Development Settings" (.vssettings) and it fixed the issue.

I had the same problem. Here is what I did to fix this issue:
Go to the control panel and locate the instance of Visual Studio Tools for Applications (VSTA).
In your case you should look for something like "Microsoft Visual Studio Tools for Applications 2012"
Right click on the VSTA component and select "Change"
In the next popup click "Repair"
In my case the problem was with Microsoft Visual Studio Tools for Applications 2017:
Once I repaired this VSTA installation everything worked correctly.
I had the same problem. I tried to repair the Visual Studio with the installation, but it didn't work.
After, the solution that worked for me:
Install the SSDT in a new instance of Visual studio.

Debugger Settings Change Between Visual Studio Instances

I having the most annoying problem with Visual Studio 2012 settings. Every time I close and re-open Visual Studio I find the Just My Code debugger setting disabled. No matter how many times I enable it, it is always disabled the next time I open the IDE.
Any idea how this could be occurring? All the other settings seem to persist well. It's only the Just My Code setting that's changing.
Well, I found the problem.
I have the .NET Reflector Plug-In installed in Visual Studio and it apparently doesn't like "Just My Code" so it disables it on start up.

ctrl-c ctrl-v stopped working in visual studio 2010 and 2012

Can't figure out what happened and not addons were installed lately.
Does anyone have an idea what could cause it?
If it is isolated to Visual Studio go to Tools--> Options --> Keyboard and verify that CtrlC and CtrlV are still bound to Edit.Copy and Edit.Paste respectively.
Go to visual studio
In Tools > Options > Keyboard
set mapping scheme dropdonw to Default and click on Reset button.
Restart Visual studio at once.
Your problem may resolved.
I had the same issue with Visual Studio 2022. Go to Tools > Options > Keyboard and set "Apply the following additional keyboard mapping scheme:" to (Default) and click on reset. Then restart visual studio.

Can't open options menu with Visual Studio 2010 on Windows 8 Release Preview

i didn't experience any issue with it so far.
what are the reason behind using visual studio 2010 on windows 8 RP?
visual studio 2012 should be sufficient except that is might still have some bug.
Curiously the VS2010 is working accordingly in Windows 8. I´ve not done nothing to correct this.
