joomla issue:please help - joomla

Hello I am having a problem with my joomla code
when I try xxxxxxxxxindex.php?option=com_blast&task=ccis this is going to the controller function ccis and when I tr xxxxxxxxxxxxxxindex.php?option=com_blast&task=ccim?data=123 this is going to the function display, I want this to come to the function ccis, how can I do this ??
whats wrong in my joomla
Thanks

Use &data=123 instead of ?data=123. In your URL you get the following arguments:
option=com_blast
task=ccim?data=123
As you see, data is not a separate argument since you are not using & to separate it from the previous argument.

Are there laravel method like in_array?

I try to use methods in https://laravel.com/docs/9.x/helpers instead of old php functions I used for many
year. I did not find any laravel method like in_array.
I tried to use Str::contains , but failed it. Seems different ?
So any replacement of in_array ?
Thanks in advance!
Using in_array seems perfectly acceptable and if it gets the job done for you and is not causing issues then stick with it.
That aside, there is the Arr::has() helper, or alternatively, you could convert your array to a collection and then use the contains() method, however that just uses in_array behind the scenes anyway.

Smarty getting page content

I need to edit a page on prestashop, I've found that code
<ul id="idTab2" class="bullet">{$agencies->content}</ul>
And where should i search for that $agencies variable ?
I have found the text which is being displayed into that place in CMS.
However I'd that variable need to be define somewhere, am I right ? Anyone knows where should i search for that ? I'm new to prestashop.
Why am i asking for this ? I need to add another page for example
<ul id="idTab2" class="bullet">{$test->content}</ul>
- but I can't just simply add another page called test.
The {$agencies} variable is being set in a object derived from either the Controller or Module classes but to be honest it looks like you're working with code that has been customised (via a class override or a module) making it impossible to provide a definitive answer to your question without knowing more detail.
If you can locate the term 'agencies' in a file located under \controllers, \modules or \override in your installation, then you will be closer to finding your answer. It will be contained in a function call similar to:
$this->context->smarty->assign('agencies' , [some-variable]);
Note that the parameters to the function may also be passed as an array for multiple assignments.

Codeigniter extend helper but want to call old helper

I am developing an Application in Bonfire.
They have extended the form helper.
Is there a way to call the original form helper from Codigniter without removing the extended one from Bonfire?
"Helpers" are just files with PHP functions in them. They aren't actually "extended", Codeigniter loads it's default helpers after loading yours, and checks if you "overwrote" a function like so:
if ( ! function_exists('form_open'))
{
function form_open() {/* default code */}
}
So unfortunately, no - there's no way to call the original function if you already declared your own.
HOWEVER: It appears that Bonfire does the exact same thing, checking with function_exists, so if you want to - you should be able to load your own form helper before it, but you still cannot simply load the original one without hacking Bonfire and removing the functions (which could have terrible side effects).
Faced the same prob, user742736's comment is the only answer that solved the prob.
Explained in detail, may be this can help some one
You can create your own helper function with out the divs surrounding the drop down here
bonfire/application/helpers/MY_form_helper.php
make a copy of the function form_dropdown, name it like form_dropdown_plain
modify the last few lines of the function to output with out divs
call form_dropdown_plain instead of form_dropdown

how to pass parameters to joomla module loaded from article

I had previously added Joomla modules from within Joomla articles this way : {loadmodule mod_name} but this time I need to pass parameters from it.
How can I pass parameters from within the article to a Joomla module?
You'll need to modify or clone the Joomla plugin loadmodule because it doesn't handle parameters other than just a module name. It's not particularly difficult to do if you're proficient in PHP (assuming you don't mind getting your hands dirty with a little bit of Regex work) but I'd suggest cloning it and using it this way:
Copy folder \plugins\content\loadmodule to \plugins\content\Myloadmodule (and all it's files)
Within the new folder, rename loadmodule.php and loadmodule.xml to myloadmodule.php and myloadmodule.xml. These are the files you'll do all the work on.
In both files, replace occurrences of loadmodule with myloadmodule, (Case sensitive)
In myloadmodule.php, start at around line 36 with the Regex that strips out what is in the {loadposition xxx} being processed. You'll need to tinker with this Regex to get the parameters that you want to supply when using {myloadmoduel blah-blah-blah} in your article.
Find the database entry in your table '_extensions' for loadposition and create and identical record for myloadposition. (Unless you want to write and installer)
Finally, you'll need to render the modules with your new parameters - I can't begin to help there because I don't know what modules, or parameter work you'll be doing, but this renderModule documentation will be of assistance.
7.
I think I've covered it all, but this should be enough to get most of it done for you. When you're done, use {myloadposition ...} instead of {loadposition ...}.
I will give more details about the previous answer, to be able to pass parameters to a module with a tag as {loadmodule mod_name,param}
The solution given by GDP works fine: it's easy and quick to rewrite a content plugin (e.g. myloadmodule), following the steps 1 to 5 in the previous answer.
The problem, for me, comes with the steps 6: how to put parameters into the module, and ohow to retrieve de parameters within the module.
Step 7 : how to give parameters to the "render" of a module
In the plugin created (base on the loadmodule), you have to find the lines with the following code :
echo $renderer->render($module, $params);
Before this line, you can put parameters into the $params parameter, but "render" of the module retrieves only params with the key 'params', using a json format.
So, to pass parameters to the render function, you can do something like that :
$param = array('param_name' => 'value'); // param_name = value
$params = array('params' => json_encode($param)); // 'params' (String) should be decoded by the render of the module
echo $renderer->render($module, $params);
Step 8 : How to retrieve the parameter within the module
In the helper of your module, you can retrieve the parameter with $params variable :
$value = $params->get('param_name');
To understand a helper, read this tutorial : http://docs.joomla.org/J3.3:Creating_a_simple_module/Developing_a_Basic_Module
I googled the same issue and found your question. I know its old but my find may help someone else. There are now plugins that allow embedding modules and allowing you to pass parameters to it. My choice is Module Plant.

SEO-friendly URLs in CodeIgniter without the use of slugs?

Is there a way (via routing) in CodeIgniter to change:
example.com/category/4 to example.com/category/foo-bar
where Foo Bar is the name of category 4 in the database?
Access from the SEO-friendly URL should be allowed, but access via the integer should cause a 404 error.
This should also work dynamically, where any integer is automatically converted to a URL-safe version of its corresponding category name.
I've seen a few solutions that use 'slugs'... is there a decent alternative?
Thanks.
I've only been working with CodeIgniter for the past couple of months in my spare time, so I'm still learning, but I'll take a shot at this (be gentle):
There is a url_title() function in the URL Helper (which will need loaded, of course) that will change Foo Bar to foo-bar.
$name = 'Foo Bar';
$seo_name = url_title($name, TRUE);
// Produces: foo-bar
http://codeigniter.com/user_guide/helpers/url_helper.html
The URL helper strips illegal characters and throws in the hyphens by default (underscores, by parameter) and the TRUE parameter will lowercase everything.
To solve your problem, I suppose you could either do a foreach statement in your routes.php file or pass the url_title() value to the URL, rather than the ID, and modify your code to match the url_title() value with its category name in the DB.
Afaik the link between 4 and "foo-bar" has to be stored in the DB, so you'll have to run some queries. This is usually not done via routing in CI. Also routing just points a URL to a controller and function and has little to do with url rewriting.
Why don't you want to use slugs?
You could try storing the search engine friendly route in the database using this method or this one.
I wouldn't recommend throwing a 404. Use the canonical link tag in the instead if your worried about Google indexing both http://googlewebmastercentral.blogspot.com/2009/02/specify-your-canonical.html.
But if you really want to I guess you could write a function that is called during the pre_controller hook http://codeigniter.com/user_guide/general/hooks.html that checks to see if the URL has an integer as the second segment then call the show_404() method. Perhaps a better solution when writing this function would be to redirect to the SEO friendly version.
Is there a way (via routing) in CodeIgniter to change:
example.com/category/4 to example.com/category/foo-bar
where Foo Bar is the name of category 4 in the database?
Yes.
Using CI 3,
http://www.codeigniter.com/user_guide/general/routing.html
Use Callbacks, PHP >= 5.3
$route['products/([a-zA-Z]+)/edit/(\d+)'] = function ($product_type, $id)
{
return 'catalog/product_edit/' . strtolower($product_type) . '/' . $id;
};
You can route to call a function to extract the name of the category.
Hope I answered your question and can help more people to like codeigniter as I believe it's speedy and light.
Slugs usage is important to make web application more secure which i think is important.
A better recommendation will be to use route to give you a better solution.
$route['(:any)/method/(:num)'] = 'Class/method';
or
$route['(:any)/method/(:num)'] = 'Class/method/$1';
$route['(:any)/gallery/(:num)'] = 'Class/gallery/$1';
base_url()/business-services/gallery/6
base_url()/travel/gallery/12
how to modify routes in codeigniter
Have fun :)
