I am confused over hosting solutions for windows.
I am looking for VPS as well dedicated which is reliable and great customer service.
I am feeling there are very few options available for windows hosting as compare to linux.
I need suggestion for hosting from SO community.
Have a think about cloud hosting. Since this may come with virtual service support and expandability would be better than the VPS

I'm looking for database management tool for PostgreSQL to host on Ruby. It would be nice to see and manage whole database and data on my Ubuntu VPS.
Is there any tools for this?
Maybe there is something similar like phpMyAdmin? Maybe as gem for Rails?
Thanks!
Squirrel is what I use to manage any JDBC-compatible database from my client PC. Both remote and local instances are supported. Alternatively, the postgres command-line application works fine for queries.

If you use mango aka windows phone 7.1, the easiest way is to go for the built in local database

There is a new Agile software tool on the Market. It is very lightweight and easy to use. I cannot remember the name of it and it is not coming up in any of my searches. I want to say its called velocity or something. But I cant seem to get it down. If anyone know's what I am talking about then please reply.
Maybe you are talking about Upvise (http://upvise.com/)
"Upvise provides mobile on-demand sync & collaboration software and hosted services for small businesses. With Upvise, you can organize and share information with your co-workers, and sync data between all the mobile phones and web accounts in your company."

How necessary is it to learn VB6 and what are the advantages of using this language today? Does it really have advantages?
At this point, nobody should be using VB6 for new development work, however, there is a lot of existing VB6 code that needs to be maintained and/or ported. Much of the existing VB6 code will be internal line-of-business applications, so the question of whether to learn it or not would depend on your employeers needs.

Besides the painful-to-install non-Windows Bugzilla, what open-source issue tracking programs can be recommended that are just as good but available as a regular windows-style install? (.exe or .msi)
You can try Redmine - a painless installation is provided by BitNami Redmine stack.
I have been working with Redmine for the last three weeks and it's love!
You can use Bitnami Stack to setup and running in few minutes.
Never used it, but Trac might be of use here. And yes, it does have a damn .exe. :)
