Add web.config variation -> Compilation error - visual-studio-2010

After I added a Solution Configuration, added a web.config variation to my MVC project, and compile the project, i received a compilation error for each dll file. IE:
Error 102 Metadata file 'C:\Framework\Dev\Source\Framework\Framework.Common\bin\bellcadev005\Framework.Common.dll' could not be found Framework.Targeting
bellcadev005 is the name of the Solution Configuration
I don't understand why additional metadata files are needed when adding a variation of a web.config file.

Making local project items accessible from the shared projects in VS C++ 2017

I have deb_sets.h in the main project to set debugging options for the whole project.
Shared projects include this file too. However, it will be different in different main projects.
I get a compilation error fatal error: deb_sets.h: No such file or directory in every shared project file which include this file.
Is my idea possible to achieve?
You need to add the #include "deb_sets.h" in all source files that use this header, but if this header file is in another directory, you need to change "Additional Include Directories" (C++\General section) in the project options to set the header file path.

MSBuild ignoring publish profile configuration

I'm trying to publish a bunch of web services and a web site via command line using MSBuild. When I publish, the web services publish successfully but my web site does n't upon checking the logs, I've realized that msbuild is ignoring the build configurations in the specified publish profile and is using the default configurations i.e. Debug|AnyCpu. I've roamed around SO and the internet and found some articles but none worked for me.
Other SO article
I would like to be able to make MSBuild understand that I am trying to publish via the publishprofile. I tested the publish profile and visual studio and was able to execute a publish.
Here is my msbuild command
C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319\MsBuild.exe "PATH_TO_PROJECT\PROJECT.csproj" /nodeReuse:false /nologo /p:PublishProfile="FolderProfile" /p:DeployOnBuild=True

I tried supplying a specific configuration to avoid the Debug|AnyCpu combo but encountered errors since the website has a custom Configuration called Release.Custom and depends on projects that do not have that configuration.
Any help is much appreciated.
If anyone encounters this, I was able to fix my error by changing the value of the Configuration tag to my custom BuildConfiguration i.e. "Release.Custom". It's very stupid considering I've spent a day on this.

CTRPP failed, error code is -2147024894

I am adding performance counter's manifest file to an existing project, and I configure the compile tool of manifest to be CTRPP. But when I compile it,
VS2013 reports that error:File not found and error:CTRPP failed, error code is -2147024894.
I searched online but cannot find any documents which can me the meaning of the error code. The manifest file is generated by ecmangen.exe, and it works well when I created a new project and compile it in the new project.

Bridging header does not exits. Error show different path than in build settings

I imported my project from Git and got an error when trying to compile the application
The error console states
Bridging header '/Users/differentUser/Documents/Projects/QA/Bridging-Header.h' does not exist
Where it is actually located at:
Bridging header '/Users/actualUser/Documents/Projects/QA/Bridging-Header.h' does not exist
the actual location is listed in the build setting as well under the Objective-C Bridging Header
Any guidance is appreciated. I've tried deleting the file and creating another, changing the name, ect
but it all ends up with the same error and path in the Error Log

Just cant understand why it is trying to copy from obj directory..Please see the following log

Done Building Project "C:\Builds\2\box\Two\Sources\Manager\Manager.vbproj" (default targets)
Where as I have set the output to bin.
Possible reasons:
This reference is dynamic, meaning its path gets cleared and created on each build. Third party reference files should be checked in the source control to a common shared folder (e.g. \lib).
Your project have a file reference to AjaxControlToolkit to a path
which does not exist on build the server. Open the project's .csproj
file, and check the HintPath of AjaxControlToolkit.
Avoid referencing third party assemblies from the GAC (where the first bullet is applicable).
