I create a desktop application. Are there any books or sites on which there are examples of design desktop applications?

I found Quince as a valuable resource when it comes to UI design questions.
There are also a few platform specific "best practices": This one for Windows or this one for java applications.

This book contains some good Interface Design Patterns: Designing Interfaces: Patterns for Effective Interaction Design + link to patterns from the 2nd edition
Also this post contains some valuable resources: http://www.smashingmagazine.com/2009/06/15/40-helpful-resources-on-user-interface-design-patterns/

I have a situation, I need to improve our sharing knowledge for each project and generic things for a small team of five coders.
Do you recommend some tools like Wiki but dedicated for coders that allow to create and share code samples?
Use this one:
IBM RTC
Free up to 10 coders
Share source code
Share work items among members with descriptions
You can apply agile on it
Atlassian Confluence is a good KB tool in my personal opinion: https://www.atlassian.com/software/confluence
It also has code highlighting: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Code+Block+Macro

As far as I know some company will use Devexpress to speed up the UI design
some company might use the AssistX .
another question:
is there any plugin which can help to keep a eye on our company 's code convention? If someone don't follow the convention, visual studio will warn him ?
Agent Smith for Resharper is what we use where I work that seems pretty good about some conventions.

I have spent most of my development career writing backend code, or front-end apps for used as daily business tools, by at least semi-skilled staff, e.g. order-tracking, sales capture, etc. That those I helped build peformed their tasks well is comfort enough, but I am still seeking excellence in the building of these kind of apps, versus the trendy emphasis on more personal relationships with the UI.
Can anyone recommend reading on this type of application (LOB?) on the web today? Any available examples to study?
I suggest that you read Don't Make me Think. Don't think that engaging UIs are not efficient. I would suggest the opposite.
Actually this answer has many useful links.

I'm trying to find an online collaboration service such as http://www.comindwork.com/ which contains features for a multilingual wiki. CoMindwork has a wiki, but its not multilingual.
There is the possiblity of hosting our own (Win2003, .NET), but I'd rather have a bunch of project management tools available from the one service
Any suggestions would be most appreciated!
Darren, Comindwork supports many languages (26 langs provided by Google Translate). You can switch to any of them after login.
You could try Screw Turn Wiki
Multilanguage interface (English, Italian, French, Spanish, German and 13 other languages)
