How to create a crosstab programatically with Telerik Reporting? - telerik

I am working with the telerik reporting platform. I am trying to create a crosstab programatically and I cant seem to find any documentation on this particular subject. I have created a forum post Crosstab Documenation Question but I'm not counting on telerik to do anything helpful.
If anyone has a link or code sample i could reference that would be great.

I would advise you create CrossTabs using the designer. Create a few examples along the lines of those you want to create programmatically and then look at the backing code - it's all code driven.

How to retrieve D365 Area name using JavaScript

It's all in the title. I'm looking for a way to programmatically retrieve the active area name to do some test
I looked in the ui and navigation items, but there seem to be no way to achieving this.
Looked into the MS Documentation as well but in vain.
If someone could please tell me what I'm missing.

Do Open Source Package of Kendo UI supports Kendo charts/graph

I just started with Kendo UI and I am using Open Source package of Kendo UI. SO in the package I am not able to see any javascript files which contains name chart. I want to display some charts . So I am doubt that is open source package of kendo ui is supporting charts.
Anyway I have added following Kendo.core.min.js and Kendo.data.min.js to the page and called to chart function. But it's throwing error.
Any guidance would be very really helpful .
Charts are not contained in the open source version of Kendo UI Core product. They are available in the professional version but this has a cost associated with it ($699). If you take a look at the following link:
Kendo UI Core vs Kendo UI Professional
If you require charting needs and do not wish to page for the Chart features then give HighCharts a look. They are free to use in a non-commercial setting and are generally considered one of the the better solutions out there.
Hopefully this answers your question adequately.
Please check the below URL , It will help you to find out which all features are available in which all versions.

There are too many open source, jquery based charts are available. See this list: http://socialcompare.com/en/comparison/javascript-graphs-and-charts-libraries

MvvmLight and CustomMessageBox

Is there a proper mvvm way to show CustomMessageBox from the view and get callback from it?
This sample is quite nice, but it uses hardcoded MessageBoxButton (only Yes/No/YesNo are avaivable, but i need custom buttons).
This contains lots ofuseful info about Messages in MvvmLight, but DialogMessage is also showing only YesNo sample (also no custom buttons).
Figured out that Cimbalino toolkit (Cimbalino saves the day again!) has quite nice custom messagebox.

Using a Telerik control inside a repeater

I am using the asp.net Repeater control. (My company is heavily invested in that, so I can't change it.)
I need a way to create a poup edit window, specific to the row the user clicked on in the repeater, so the user can edit the data in that record.
We have the Telerik controls to use, but I don't know which one. I saw the radwindow, but can find no examples of using it in a repeater. Frankly, Telerik documentation is confusing.
I prefer to use client-side code, ajax and web-services. I'd like to prevent post-backs.
1) Please give me a reference to a specific example of using the Telerik radwindow inside a repeater for this purpose.
OR
2) Clue me in to a better idea.
Thank you.
I don't think there are explicit examples with an asp Repeater, but I found this one with a GridView. The approach should be the same, as it is just another databound control - it shows an easy way to open a RadWindow on the client by passing some parameters (it is actually not possible to open it on the server, it is a client-side object).
Some more complex examples I found on their site here and here. They both update a grid, yet they show a nice way to use AJAX to prevent a full postback.

Telerik RadGrid working examples

I'm looking for some examples of production websites that currently use the Telerik Rad Grid. I'd really like to see some real world scenarios in action, other than the Telerik RadGrid demo. Does anyone know of any websites that use it?
This article from their website says that MSDN, TechNet, and CodePlex websites are using pieces of their components.
"Microsoft has chosen to implement RadEditor in the Wiki Annotation Editor...[and] all Project Discussion pages, becoming the custom inline editor."
Here is one for you... The first tab uses the RadGrid control and the second tab uses the RadScheduler control...

I will post blog on this later to demonstrate
There are some case studies on their website. like for winforms, asp.net ajax etc.
Most controls like that are used in internal webapps. It is hard to provide public facing examples of sites using DataGrid-like at all(not impossible, just rare), let alone by one vendor on one platform.
