Close form on messagebox answer trouble - visual-studio-2010

I am trying to use this code to close a form on a specific answer of a message box. I keep receiving an error saying that neither Yes nor No belong to DialogResult::. I basically copied this code straight from the MS site, so i have no idea what's wrong. Help?

There is a naming clash between the DialogResult enumeration, and the DialogResult property of Form. You want the former, the compiler assumes you are referring to the latter.
One way to resolve the ambiguity is to fully-qualify your reference to the enum:

I found a second method in this thread; move the using namespace System... statements out of the namespace block, then refer to the enum via the global namespace.

Here is working solution which has some extra code so you can see the whole picture. In this example there is some working BackgroundWorker that must be stopped before app is gonna be closed.

I can go from form4 to form5 but I can't do it the other way

This first code is to go to form5

If you want to "go back" (close Form5), then you just Need to Close the Form5 (this.Close()).

Can i stop back button of hardware in wp7?

My scenario is , When I navigate to a new page It takes some time to load the content. And for that duration of time, If I press back key it throws exception for some reason. So I want to stop the back key behaviour for that much duration and when content is fully loaded, user can press the back key and then navigate to previous page. I just want to be clear, Is it permitted in application certification requirement from microsoft so that my app could not get rejected. so please give answer.

Selection changed event also called Lostfocus event?

NET C# ,
In my windows phone 7.5 application , I want to make visible the application bar if any item has selected .. So I am making it visible in selected change event. But what is happening in my code is when ever selection change it also triggers LostFocus event and in that event I am making selected index = 0.
Now the resultant of the code is when ever I select any item , application bar gets visible then automatically invisible ( because of lost focus event).
Following is the piece of code .

You can use the following hack. Initialize a variable, say selectChanged to False initially in the xaml.cs. In SelectionChanged function change it to True. Now, in the LostFocus function do processing only if the selectChanged variable is false, and if it is true set it back to False

Play SoundEffect only on first time page load

WP7.5/Silverlight App...
On my page load, I play a Sound clip (e.g. Hello! Today is a wonderful day.)

Now I have 3-4 other elements on the page. When user click on any of them, a sound clip for that element plays.

What I want is:
When the page first loads and while the seLoadInstance is being played and user clicks the element, I don't want the seElementInstance to be played.
I can check the state of seLoadInstance like below to not play seElementInstance

Possible solution: One way I see is using different instances to play the same sound.
I was hoping some better way like I set a flag upon load but I couldn't find any explicit event for SoundInstance completed or Stopped that I can handle.
Any ideas??

Why do you always create new instances when you want to play a sound?
Isn't it possible to create a instance for both "se"-elements and cust check if anyone is running before calling "play"?

I was able to find a way using flag. Instead of setting a flag upon the firsttime load complete, I set the flag from one of my element that plays the seLoadTextInstance.

How to disable resizing and close button of a Custom Task Pane?

How can I prevent an Office Custom Task Pane for resizing, so that it's only and always have the dimensions and can't be closing with the "close" button.

As far as the resize, just monitor your task pane's resize event and reset the size. However you might consider +why+ you'd want to do that. If there's a minimum necessary size for your taskpane, it might make more sense to restrict the minimum. and if the contents are resizable, maybe they should be.
You might also override the OnLayout method. That will often work better.
For the Close button, I think you'd want to intercept the "VisibleChanged" event and make the pane visible if it's been hidden. As I recall, taskpanes are not actually "closed" per se, but just set invisible.
Where _tp is a reference to your task pane (not the CustomTaskPane container), _ctp is the CustomTaskPane container, iw is the InspectorWrapperDictionary:
