Does anyone know how to send an email to Righfax? We are currently send faxes to Righfax through vb6 api calls, but when I send an email address I get an invalid character in phone number field. But the fax info uses the same field. I don't know how to set the flag to tell it that its an email. Help...someone...please:(
I've used it years ago and I used the vendor's RightFax api to achieve what you wanted.
The docs for the API are here.

I have to perform load test on a Sign UP API using Jmeter.
Sign Up asks for:
valid cell # where system sends SMS code for verfication
Valid Email address where user receives a link for verification
Can any one help for this scenario.
Thanks in advance.
It might be tricky, however you can consider a 3rd-party application like Spikko or 2nr and use mobile automation framework like Appium from JSR223 Test Elements in order to get SMS text from the mobile application. If you don't have a real phone you can use an emulator like Bluestacks or Genymotion
For email it is way easier, JMeter comes with Mail Reader Sampler so you can fetch an email from any real box and extract confirmation URL from there, check out How to Create a JMeter Script to Check Email During Registration AND Grab the Confirmation URL for more details.
You probably should use JDBC Request and get from DB the code/link sent.
But if it's not possible, for email you can concatenate to same gmail +${UUID()}. Gmail at least support sending to same mail if have different suffix:
Here are two different ways you can modify your Gmail address and still get your mail:
Append a plus ("+") sign and any combination of words or numbers after your email address. For example, if your name was hikingfan#gmail.com, you could send mail to hikingfan+friends#gmail.com or hikingfan+mailinglists#gmail.com.
I want to send an e-mail using gmail API.
I want to know if the email was received successfully. And if not, what the problem. (Such as SMTP Log)
I can use Google Admin G-Suite if need.
How can I do it?
Thank you.
What you are looking for is Request read receipt after an email is sent. This would notify the sender when the recipient reads the email.
This is not something that is currently available in the gmail api. you may want to consider submitting a feature request here
When I send a test sms from https://www.twilio.com/user/account/developer-tools/api-explorer/message-create with a predefined friendly name, it doesnt apear on my phone. I only see the number.
-if this isnt possible, do you know other providers with this function that work?
[UPDATE]: Twilio now supports this feature.
You can now send messages from an alphanumeric sender ID using Twilio. I wrote up a blog post on how you can achieve this in Ruby and you can check out this article on how to get started with an alphanumeric sender ID on Twilio for more of an overview. Then check out the documentation on how to send an SMS message from an alphanumeric ID.
[UPDATE] Previous answer is below.

You're absolutely right, the friendly name defined in your account is actually for your uses only and is not intended to appear in place of the number when sending an SMS. We have a few reasons for this, which might be interesting to you depending on your use case.
I don't have a particular company that I can recommend that does allow you to do this. A Google search might help though.
Hi I am using the bellow function, can you please guide me how can I use Mail::failures(); in it
Mail::send('emails.caregiversetprimary', $templateArray, function($message)use($email)
{
$message->to($email, 'username')->subject('my subject');
});
Mail::failures(); < ====== this gives me black array as I have used wrong email
I am using laravel 4.1
tl;dr
You can know which recipients the email has been sent to but no which recipients have received it.
details
You need a better understanding of how mail servers work. From a Laravel point of view, there is no way (or at least not a simple one*) of knowing which recipients got the email. Its a matter of how mail protocol works. You may know which recipients the message has been sent to but no which recipients actually got it.
With Mail::failures() you get a list of recipients to which Laravel tried to send the email but it failed on actually sending it. But again, if it has been sent there is no straightforward way to known if the mail reached their inbox or no.
*If you happend to use Mailgun, Mandrill or any other 3rd party software then you are not dealing with a mail server 'per se' but with an API service. May be you could check the mail service provider documentation to research if they perform any kind of delivery tracking that you can programatically check.
My WP7 application requirement is to send the email with an attachment and use device default SMTP settings.
I have tried EmailComposeTask class but it doesn't have any member for attachment.
The other idea, i am thinking is to upload the file on server and then send the email from that server.
What you think if there is no way to send the email with an attachment using WP7 API?
Your observation is correct, at this point in time EmailComposeTask doesn't support attachments and this is the only facility to send email programatically from the device at the moment.
As you note, you can communicate with a server which can perform this task on behalf of your app.
I found a wp7 and wp8 library that does it: http://www.windowsphonegeek.com/marketplace/components/livemailmessage
Try to create web service to send mail in your webserver. so, we can call the from your app to send mail.
I hope upcoming version it will be possible!

I've found this article, but I did not make any test yet.
From the author:
EmailComposeTask won’t allow you to send attachments, but this doesn’t mean that you cannot send files through it. .NET Framework has these two amazing methods: Convert.ToBase64String and Convert.FromBase64String. The first will allow the developer to convert a byte array (byte[]) to a Base64-encoded string, the other one will do the same operation in reverse.
