Expression Blend doesn't find namespace/class to create sample data - windows-phone-7

I have a WP7 app that calls a WP7 client library. I added a new class to the client library then I go over to Blend to create sample data for the class. The dialog box to select the class to generate the sample data doesn't show the class or its namespace. Why not?
The class doesn't have an interface or generics and it is public.
I closed/reopened blend. Built the project in VS. What else should I check?
The client library has other namespaces and classes that Blend sample data generation dialog box does find.

Make sure your project is compiled after adding the class files. In Blend, select Project | Build Project from the menu (or CTRL+SHIFT+B).

I can't create a report with an object datasource in Visual studio 2019

I am trying to create a simple report in my vs2019 with a class as the data model
I have a public class named 'persona'
I have a new wpf applicacion (.net 5)
I've create a new report (RDLC file)
I try to use a class as a data template to design the report
When I try to reference the class as the data source object, the class is not visible for the datasourtce wizard as you can see in the image below
If put that class in a diferent project, a class library project, I got a different error, as you can see in the images below
And whe I press the Finish button I got this new erro:
There is no clue about what to do,... does anyone have any idea ? What Am I doing wrong?
I have same problem. Try to use netstandard2.0 for model library, it works for me (vs2019 netcoreapp3.1)

How to use System.Security.Cryptography in Xamarin.Forms PCL

By reference to this link https://developer.xamarin.com/api/namespace/System.Security.Cryptography/
May I know how do I include this in my Xamarim.Forms PCL project? When I include in, Visual Studio is giving error as the picture below
May I know if anybody has any idea how to solve this? Thanks.
The namespace is available both in Xamarin.iOS and Xamarin.Android. You could make platform specific implementations for both platforms and then resolve them with the DependencyService
You would have your interface for whatever you need in your PCL
public interface ICryptoService // or whatever
{
string Cipher(string stringToCipher);
string Decipher(string stringToDecipher);
}
and then implement these in your platform specific projects
using System.Security.Cryptography;
namespace MyApp.Droid
{
public class CryptoService : ICryptoService
{
// implement interface
}
}
To make the implementation visible to DependencyService you have to use the DependencyAttribute
[assembly: Xamarin.Forms.Dependency(typeof(MyApp.Droid.CryptoService)]
You can now obtain an instance in your PCL with
var cryptoService = DependencyService.Get<ICryptoService>();
and then use it. The steps for iOS are basically the same. For UWP you have to register the implementation manually, see here.
Edit:
Since it's likely that the implementation will be the same for all platforms, you could introduce a shared project and put the implementation there. All you have to do now is referencing the shared project from your iOS and Android projects.
Edit 2:
Adding a shared project to an existing Xamarin.Forms solution is quite easy. Just right-click your solution in VS, choose Add -> New Project... (I only have a german localized VS at hand at the moment, but it should be something in the lines of that). Now select Shared Project, give it a name and click OK, there will be a new shared project in your solution.
Now right-click your platform specific project and choose Add -> Reference.... The window to add a reference should open and on the left you can choose the source of the reference (Assemblys, Projects, Shared Projects, COM and Browse). Select Shared Project and then the project you just created. Any code file in your shared project will now be compiled with your platform specific project as if the code file was in the platform specific project (watch for namespaces!). Repeat for the other platform specific projects.

Visual Studio DSL interaction with my classes

I'm getting start with DSL, I have build my DSL and I have a T4 template for generate code from a design.
I can create a new element in my project of my DSL type, I can create my design and then I have to run my T4 to generate code.
But, I can see how to work the default Visual Studio Class Diagram, it don't need to run any T4. For example when you drop a class in the diagram it shows a dialog to choose the class name and file.
When I change a class (adding properties for example) by edit the file the diagram update itself the new information (properties, methods, ...). When you add a property in a class using the diagram its update the file adding the correct property ...
How to do it? I'm newbie and I would like to find documentation about it.

adding visual studio XAML Intellisense to non-wpf classes

I have "DOM like" data structure in c# (parent, childNodes, properties, enums...) and I want to use xml\xaml file to some of the initializing. I already wrote a tool that transform my xaml to c# and inject them in the right place.
I want the exact Intellisense behavior of WPF except that my classes doesn't inherits from WPF base classes and my project in not wpf application on library and doesn't reference wpf assemblies. i also don't want to use xsd schema because classes are added and edited very frequently.
I'm using visual studio 2010
Is it possible?
Create a xaml (start by creating a resource dictionary and delete the content).
Add your own assembly as the default namespace and start using your types. I have created a test for sample data recently, here's how it looks like:
<MainViewModel xmlns="clr-namespace:MvvmTest.ViewModels.DesignTime"
Name="The design time main view model">
<MainViewModel.SubViewModels>
<FirstSubViewModel Name="The design time first sub-view model" />
<SecondSubViewModel Name="The design time second sub-view model" />
</MainViewModel.SubViewModels>
</MainViewModel>
You can load the file using the XamlReader class. As a bonus compared to xml, the file will be compiled and run time loading will be much faster.

Is it possible to add a web user control to a class library in VS2010

I was trying to add Web user control in Class Library in VS2010.
is there a way to do that?
at last I found one way,
just copy the files from other project (website/ web application) and pest them inside Class Library Project.
