You cannot. Facebook has phased out the FBML. It will be officially deprecated as of June 6, 2012. You can use XFBML in some settings such as Social Plugins and alongside the JS SDK.

what version of Google Mobile Ads SDK is Xamarin.Google.iOS.MobileAds using?

I'm on Firebase but am currently using Xamarin.Google.iOS.MobileAds in a Xamarin.Forms project. Everything is working well.
i received an email from firebase that said Starting January 23, 2018, we will no longer be supporting Android and iOS Google Mobile Ads SDKs lower than version 7.0.0. To continue serving ads from AdMob after this date, please upgrade to the latest Google Mobile Ads SDK.
Is Xamarin.Google.iOS.MobileAds compliant (7.0.0 or >) i'm not sure how to tell.
As far as I'm aware, Xamarin has never released a Google Mobile Ads SDK version that is using a Google version older than 7.0 (released 2015‑02‑03 from Google).
Xamarin's nuget package versions match the version from Google. The latest Xamarin.Google.iOS.MobileAds package is 7.24.1, thus it is using Google's Mobile Ads 7.24.1 (2017‑9‑27).
You can also at runtime use const string GoogleMobileAdsVersionString to retrieve the version you are using.
FYI: That is currently three dot releases behind the official releases from Google:
7.27.0 2017‑12‑13
Added support for native video mediation. Native mediation adapters must implement the mediaView method on GADMediatedNativeAppInstallAd and GADMediatedNativeContentAd and return their media view.
7.26.0 2017‑11‑17
iPhone X support.
For full screen ads, the default close button now renders within the safe area.
Removed the nativeAd property from GADAdChoicesView and GADMediaView.
Limits SDK interactions with Apple's StoreServices to once per session, at app launch.
7.25.0 2017‑10‑25
Native Mediation: Adapters now get the call to mediatedNativeAd:didRenderInView:viewController: as soon as a native ad is associated with a native ad view, instead of waiting for that native ad view to be visible.
Native Mediation: Adapters now get a call to mediatedNativeAdDidUntrackView: with a nil view when the tracked view gets deallocated.
7.24.1 2017‑9‑27
Updates the way the SDK interacts with Apple's StoreServices.
It all open source from Xamarin, so personally I grab Xamarin's source (and update the bindings where needed) and the latest release from Google. (i.e. I needed iPhone X support and Xamarin has not release a package that includes 7.26.0 yet)

Windows 10 WebView and Adobe Flash

The new Microsoft Edge browser has built-in support for Adobe Flash. The updated WebView control in the Windows 10 SDK utilizes Microsoft Edge as its engine.
I am trying to figure out how to enable the WebView control to render Adobe Flash content from a website in a Universal Windows App (either a Hosted Web App or a Packaged Web App).
Any ideas or pointers would be much appreciated.
Thanks.
WebView doesn't use Edge as the engine but uses IE11. Quote from the docs - "WebView always uses Internet Explorer 11 in document mode".
It also doesn't support any plugins or such, which would include Flash.
Full run of caveats from the control doc:
It does not support any ActiveX controls or plugins like Microsoft
Silverlight or Portable Document Format (PDF) files. Additionally,
WebView does not support some HTML5 features including AppCache,
IndexedDB, programmatic access to the Clipboard, and geolocation.
More "tidbit" reading up at https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/apps/windows.ui.xaml.controls.webview.aspx .
Enjoy. Hope this helps. Healy in Tampa.
On Universal application, the webview is using edge now but it does not change anything regarding plugins.
Here is what it says from the MSDN :
In apps compiled for Windows 10, WebView uses the Microsoft Edge
rendering engine to display HTML content. In apps compiled for Windows
8 or Windows 8.1, WebView uses Internet Explorer 11 in document mode.
It does not support any ActiveX controls or plugins like Microsoft
Silverlight or Portable Document Format (PDF) files.

Using JQuery mobile to create apps

I have tried to create simple apps for android. For this I used Eclipse.
I want to find out what there is out there (Good frameworks) for building platform independent apps. I fell over JQuery Mobile and PhoneGap/Apache Cordova (and some other frameworks).
What I was not able to find out, is what editor are used with JQuery Mobile. Am I wrong thinking that anything can be used, since it is just Javascript and css3? Can one use Visual studio for this?
I also read that JQuery mobile can be used with PhoneGap, with out further explanation. What does this mean exactly? Why would you use JQuery with PhoneGap, instead of using pure phoneGaP?
So to recap the questions
Can JQuery mobile be used with Visual Studio? If not, what editors do you suggest?
What does it mean that JQuery mobile can be used with PhoneGaP? I thought these 2 were separate frameworks?
1.Can JQuery mobile be used with Visual Studio? If not, what editors do you suggest?
You can use any UI framework ( Jquery Mobile, Sencha touch, Dojo toolit, Kendo UI, Ionic, ..etc) as all the frameworks are based on Javascript, HTML5 and CSS3.
As such you can choose any editors which you are comfortable with.
Some popular editors to name a few WebStorm, Sublime Text, Eclipse, Visual Studio.
2. What does it mean that JQuery mobile can be used with PhoneGaP? I thought these 2 were separate frameworks?
JQuery is a HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript framework.
PhoneGap is a Webview Framework.
PHoneGap allows you to use ANY HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript framework ( UI frameworks mentioned above) OR you could just use plain HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript without ANY framework to build apps and then wrap it in PhoneGap.
Using PhoneGap you can have access to DEVICE APIs (like Device contact list, Acceloremeter, Camera etc), which otherwise would not have been possible using only HTML5, CSS and JS.

how to find out which webkit version for UiWebView user control?

I am using XCode IDE for developing a web browser desktop app. The app is very simple and it uses UiWebView user control to display a web page content.
I am running into some issues with web page with specific version of web kit rendering engine that UiWebView user control uses. The UiWebView user controls load different web kit on different Mac OS (not sure how it was loaded).
The question I am having are:
How do I specify the web kit rendering engine for the UiWebView user control? Can I overwrite the default web kit engine?
If it is possible to use the my own UiWebView user control based on the version of web kit I choose.
Thank you in advance!

Ad Provider integration with PhoneGap App

How do I integrate ad providers with a PhoneGap App (for windows phone)?
I would think there are a couple of answers to this. One is to edit the XAML page, add the normal silverlight control to the page. This would require you to fiddle with the provided xaml from phonegap. This would give you access to the MS Ad Control and Google's Ad control for .net. At the end of the day, PhoneGap is just a silverlight page, with a browser control in it. So you can still edit that page, but you have to make sure you don't screw up the PhoneGap libraries and page.
The other solution is to find an html based ad control. Although this might not be possible with your ad provider.
