How to install tbb_dedug.dll in VS2010 Windows 7? - visual-studio-2010

I am trying to run openCV code with VS2010 Windows 7 Ultimate cpu intel CORE i3 but it shows the following error:
The program can't start because tbb_dubug.dll is missing from your computer
I downloaded Intel TBB 4.0 and I copied all files from folder tbb40_233oss/bin/intel64/vc10 to opencv/build/common/tbb/intel64/vc10, But when I run my code it shows the same error. So, I copied tbb_debug.dll to the Debug folder in my Project, But when I run my code it shows the error
TestHist\Debug\tbb_debug.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support.
How do I install tbb_dedug.dll in VS2010 Windows 7 ?

Just try to download the files from intel directly. Find them with google then copy the tbb_debug.dll in the same directory where your executable is.

Qt Installer Framework : Error during installation process on another computer : d3dcompiler_47.dll (access denied)

I have a problem with Qt Installer Framework. I generated an installer with Qt Installer Framework. I reused the "examples/tutorial" from Qt 5.0.3. I added all my files (exe, dlls, data, ...) in "packages/in com.vendor.product/data" directory. I used windeploy in order to have all dlls needed. I generated an offline installer in command line.
Everything works in my computer (Window 10 / US). I can install/uninstall my application and launch my application through a shortcut on the desktop. Everything is ok here. Thank you Qt.
But when I want to install my app through my installer on a another computer, I have this following error : "Error during installation process (com.vendor.product): Error while extracting 'installer://com.vendor.product/0.0.0.bin.7z': Could not open file C:/Users/Username/MyApp/bin/d3dcompiler_47.dll (access denied)"
ps: all computer are Windows 10 the difference is the language : My computer is Windows 10 / US and the other computer is Windows 10 / French.
Does someone can help me?

Run "armasm.exe" failed: "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b)

I installed both VS2013 and VS2015 Professional (full install), and both have a "armasm.exe" under the bin folder. I set the bin folder into "path" environment variable. When I tried "armasm /?" under cmd, it prompts out a dialog box with a red cross sign, saying that:
The application was unable to start correctly (0x000007b). Click OK to close the application.
I wonder if this program is for ARM CPU's assembly language. Does this program only run on ARM machine that installed VS?
How can I get it to run?
I assume you're talking about the armasm.exe file in the \VC\bin\x86_arm folder? If so, then no, that is an x86 binary, not an ARM binary. It will run on your machine.
It is actually an ARM cross-assembler for x86. That means it allows you to assemble ARM binaries on an x86 host. Think of it like the x64 cross-compiler for x86 (in the x86_amd64) folder. That can compile 64-bit binaries on a 32-bit x86 host.
The reason you can't get it to start is because the environment has not been set up correctly, and required dependencies cannot be located. When I try to start it, I get a more descriptive message than you do:
System Error:
The program can't start because msvcdis140.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.
You are meant to use the vcvarsx86_arm.bat batch file (in the same folder) to get your environment set up correctly, before trying to run any of the tools. Step-by-step:
Open a new Command Prompt.
Drag in vcvarsx86_arm.bat, and press Enter to run it. This sets up your environment to run the x86/ARM tools.
Drag in armasm.exe (or simply type armasm.exe into the prompt, unqualified). It will now run because the environment has been correctly set up (including the path, so that it can be found without requiring the full path to be entered).
There is also a \VC\bin\amd64_arm folder. This contains tools for ARM executables that run on x64 hosts. You use those in exactly the same way, except you launch the vcvarsamd64_arm.bat file in that folder first.
It is worth noting that I also see a \VC\bin\arm folder, but (at least in my install of VS 2015) that contains only one EXE: pgosweep.exe. Microsoft does not appear to provide an ARM assembler that runs on ARM platforms. Which makes senseā€”I don't think ARM is a supported host for development. Visual Studio certainly hasn't been ported to ARM. Just use the ARM tools on x86 or x64.

Compatibility Mode error when installing Visual Studio SDK (vssdk)

Whenever I try to install the Visual Studio SDK I get the following error:
Windows Program Compatibility mode is on. Turn it off and then try Setup again.
I have checked and Compatibility mode is not turned on. From what I've read, renaming the installer to vssdk_full.exe should help. That hasn't had any impact.
I got the installer from Microsoft's website.
What do I need to do to get this to install?
Are you installing on Windows 10? If so, then I have the same problem and it seems as though the current SDK setup is checking the Windows version and 10 isn't currently supported. See https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/77c61be0-1303-4040-a587-62843d321159/visual-studio-2013-sdk?forum=WinPreview2014General for more info
I have managed to get it to install on windows 10, download the sdk, it will download vssdk_full.exe, run this with /layout path which will extract the actual setup file.
Then set compatibility on the new file to win 8 and it will install just fine.
You might not need to do the/layout thing but that is what I did.

I had the same problem. I downloaded .iso file with install package form the internet. Then I mounted it using PowerISO and tried to start it from virtual CD drive. It ended up in the same message as above.
I looked it up and thought that in Properties of .exe install file, it's enough to uncheck some boxes compability section. But nothing was checked.
Soon afterwards I unzipped the package to a temporary directory with PowerISO and installed Visual from there. Worked without problems.
I had this problem, I renamed the instalation file to "vssdk_full.exe" and it installed without problems.

IBM Websphere ILog JRules Studio 7.1.1 Installation Failed Due to Error: Could not Java Virtual Machine

Has any one encountered the error: Could not create Java Virtual Machine error while installing IBM Websphere ILog JRules Studio 7.1.1? I have Windows 7 64 bit OS but this error could happen on any Windows machine. By default IBM ships the package for 32 bit so our installation team tried with 32 bit JDK 6 (with many minor versions) for many days but could not figure out. I have posted my own solution below. Check this out and save your life.
You usually start installation by running JRules_V711_CZLX7ML.exe file on windows. It will extract all resources on your temp directory and you might encounter error: "Could Not Create Java Virtual Machine". Just follow these steps and it "might" solve your problem:
1. Go to your temp directory by typing "%temp%" in Start-> Run or Windows Explorer.
2. Look for directory something like: I1403739667. Go inside this directory.
3. Open command prompt and go to I1403739667/Windows/resource/jre/bin
4. Run command: java -version
5. If you see following error, go further otherwise you might have some other problems:
JVMJ9VM011W Unable to load j9jpi24: The specified module could not be found.
Error: could not load Mercury Interactive support. Please run the setup again.
If the problem persists please contact Mercury's Customer support.
JVMJ9VM011W Unable to load j9jpi24: The specified module could not be found.
JVMJ9VM015W Initialization error for library jvmhook(-3): JVM_OnLoad failed
Could not create the Java virtual machine.
This happens if you have installed HP Quick Test Professional which used to be Mercury before HP bought over.
Right click on your computer icon on desktop and look for following environment variable: IBM_JAVA_OPTIONS
Either rename it to IBM_JAVA_OPTIONS_DONOTUSE or delete it.
Try installing again.
NOTE: I had tried to by pass this error by changing the vm property in Rule Studio.lax file to use JDK 6 32 bit installed on my windows machine and was able to install successfully but there were just too many Rules compilation errors which would not make any sense. So NEVER try to use your own JDK. You have to use the IBM JDK shipped as part of Rule Studio.

How do I install and use WinPcap?

I went to winpcap.org today, downloaded the installer, and installed WinPcap on my Windows 7 laptop PC. However, the folder where it was installed contains only an installation log, an executable called rpcapd.exe, and an uninstall executable. When I run rpcapd.exe a dos shell appears:
Press CTLR+C to stop the server...
and nothing happens until I press CTRL+C, which closes the window. When I create a project in Microsoft Visual Studio and include < pcap.h >, I'm told there is no such file or directory. A search of my computer yields no results. I've tried reinstalling a couple times but with no new results. What am I missing here?
Development with WinPcap requires both the driver install, as well as the developer's pack. Have you installed the developer's pack?
