indeed it takes days trying to install cinelerra and no longer know what else to do eh searched forums and I have sent emails to the list of cinelerra still can not solve anything thanks in advance
just interested in using cinelerra I have slackware 13.37 Download the TXZ of
http://repository.slacky.eu/slackware-13.37/multimedia/cinelerra/20110512/cinelerra-20110512-i486-1sl.txz
says that it installs correctly put:
# cinelerra
and I get the following error:
cinelerra: error while loading shared libraries: libavcodec.so.52: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Download ffmpeg-0.7 from slacky.eu and install it. This will solve problem with missing libavcodec.so.52

I recently updated R and Rstudio and since then have not been able to load any libraries, including ggplot2, tidyverse.
Just for clarity, let me share the messages I get when I install tidyverse and try to load the library:
install.packages("tidyverse")
WARNING: Rtools is required to build R packages but is not currently installed. Please download and install the appropriate version of Rtools before proceeding:

LoadLibrary failure: The specified module could not be found.
**
Also, to be clear, I did install the latest version of Rtools.
Now I tried reading through several messages on google regarding the same error but failed to understand the solution. The main thing I do not understand is why the packages are installed here: C:\Users\Computer User 1\AppData\Local\Temp\RtmpQZdI11\downloaded_packages, and then are loaded from here: C:/Program Files/R/R-4.2.2/library/stats/libs/x64/stats.dll.
I have tried specifying the library path but have not been successful at solving the problem. I don't know why R is unable to load the libraries. Also, on running .libpaths(), I get two libraries:
[1] "C:/Users/Computer User 1/AppData/Local/R/win-library/4.2"
[2] "C:/Program Files/R/R-4.2.2/library"
And when I try to install tidyverse here: C:/Program Files/R/R-4.2.2/library, I get this error: the folder is unwritable.
I don't know how to solve this issue. Please help.
I'm trying to build snappy, but I end up getting the error
error while loading shared libraries: libatomic.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
When I go look in /lib/gcc/x86_64-redhat-linux/8/ I do find a file libatomic.so
Which has the contents
INPUT ( /usr/lib64/libatomic.so.1.2.0 )
then if I go looking in /usr/lb64/ only these files exist
libatomic_ops_gpl.so.1
libatomic_ops_gpl.so.1.1.2
libatomic_ops.so.1
libatomic_ops.so.1.1.1
I try doing yum install libatomic_ops.x86_64, it says nothing to do. That is the only package that comes up when doing yum search libatomic.
I'm confused with how to solve this issue. Thanks!
For what it matters, this is a redhat 8.6 machine.
This was solved by running dnf install gcc, this updated gcc and allowed for yum install libatomic to work
I am new to esp32 programming. I wanted to try to make a server.
I tried to use the ESPAsyncWebServer library.
I got this error
In file included from C:\Users\User\Documents\Arduino\server\server.ino:2:0:

sketch\ESPAsyncWebServer.h:33:22: fatal error: AsyncTCP.h: No such file or directory

exit status 1
Error compiling for board ESP32 Wrover Module.
Can someone help me and tell me what is the correct way to install liberals because I have a feeling that I am doing it wrong.
Your compile error says that you are lacking the AsyncTCP library. You can find it here: https://github.com/me-no-dev/AsyncTCP
You will need to install both libraries ESPAsyncTCP and ESPAsyncWebServer, since the latter is dependant on the first.
You can install them by:
Downloading the zip files from github:
https://github.com/me-no-dev/ESPAsyncWebServer
https://github.com/me-no-dev/ESPAsyncTCP
In your Arduino IDE go to Sketch > Include Library > ZIP-Library and select the libraries you just downloaded.
I am trying to connect to an Oracle database in Go using this package. I have both server and instantclient installed for both Oracle 11.2 and 12.1, and I'm following the instructions regarding the oci8.pc file. My operating system is Windows.
However, when I run "go get github.com/mattn/go-oci8" (or attempt to install a program that uses the package after having gotten the package's source code directly) I get this error:
# github.com/mattn/go-oci8
C:/oraclexe/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/server/oci/lib/MSVC/oci.lib: error adding symbols: File in wrong format
collect2.exe: error: ld returned 1 exit status
Does anyone know what the problem is and how to fix it?
Looks to be the same issue I had trying to install oci8. Are you using TDM_GCC? The problem for me was that TDM_GCC has a compiler / linker bug that prevents from compiling certain files. I used ming64 instead and it worked. You can see my detailed posts regarding that here:

I am trying to parse the rdf file but
I am getting error while executing following code in ubuntu
RDF::Reader.open("http://datagraph.org/jhacker/foaf.rdf") do |reader|
reader.each_statement do |statement|
puts statement.inspect
end
end
as
LoadError: Could not open library 'libraptor': libraptor: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory. Could not open library 'libraptor.so': libraptor.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
I installed all the required gems:
rdf
rdf-raptor
ffi
rdf-json
rdf-trix
Please help me how to rectify this problem
I suggest you visit http://rdf.rubyforge.org/raptor/ and use the contact info mentioned there such as the mailing list. The error is because the C shared library libraptor.so cannot be found by ruby, so it must have been installed in a non-standard place. I am the author of Raptor but I do not know how rdf-raptor installed Raptor.
