$this->load->library('ftp');
$config['hostname'] = 'text.com';
$config['username'] = 'test';
$config['password'] = '12345678';
$config['port'] = 21;
$config['passive'] = FALSE;
$config['debug'] = TRUE;
$conn = $this->ftp->connect($config);
if($conn){
$this->ftp->upload('/ftp1_uploads/images/test.zip','/ftp2_uploads/images/test.zip');
}
I want to transfer from ftp1 to ftp2 not the same domain.
Return error below using codeigniter version 2
An Error Was Encountered
Unable to locate the source file. Please check your path.
I already try rename the file using the same path its works. but when I transfer from ftp1 to ftp2 different domain it will not work.

You can't transfer files from ftp1 to ftp2 without using interim location, your algorithm is: download from ftp1 to local, upload from local to ftp2

How to write csv file and download in browser?

In laravel 5.7 app I need to write csv file and download in in browsers download function using method :
\Response::download(
I try to upload it to tmp directory and checking value I see
$sys_get_temp_dir= sys_get_temp_dir();
line above has /tmp value
Next I save it as :
$dest_csv_file= $sys_get_temp_dir . '/box_rooms_'.time().'.csv';
$header = ["Id",... ];
$fp = fopen($dest_csv_file, "w");
fputcsv($fp, $header);
foreach ($storageSpacesCollection as $line) {
fputcsv($fp, $line);
}
fclose($fp);
But searching on my local ubuntu 18(on server I also have ubuntu) I found generated file as
/tmp/systemd-private-6a9ea6844b9c4c94883d23e4fb3e2215-apache2.service-shqCeo/tmp/box_rooms_1576324869.csv
That was very strange, as I do not know how read it from tmp path. Can it be done?
I think you need to pass Content-Type properly
$filePath= public_path(). "/upload/example.doc";
$headersContent = array('Content-Type: application/pdf',);
return Response::download($filePath, 'example.doc', $headersContent)

Check an image if existing already in the folder before uploading - Codeginiter

Do you have any sample codes or functions to check if an image name is existing already in the folder before uploading?
I've tried using file_exists() but it doesn't work, here is my sample code:
$path = FCPATH . "images2/";
$filename=$_FILE['userfile'];
$full_path = $path .$filename;
if(file_exists($filename))
{
///display error message///
}
Here is the simplest way to check if a file exist:
if(is_file($filename){
return true; //the file exist
}else{
return false; //the file does not exist
}
I'm assuming you are not getting the correct result with file_exists() because you don't include the full path (even tho you define it).
Try using the following: file_exists($full_path)
Also consider using some CI helper functions for handling files like images, or uploads. They are there to make this 'easier'.

exportDocument() 'destination folder does not exist' error

I'm trying to make a script in photoshop that will modify some layers and than export them as a PNG image. I've copied the following code from another place:
function SavePNG(saveFile){
var pngOpts = new ExportOptionsSaveForWeb;
pngOpts.format = SaveDocumentType.PNG
pngOpts.PNG8 = false;
pngOpts.transparency = true;
pngOpts.interlaced = true;
pngOpts.quality = 100;
activeDocument.exportDocument(saveFile,ExportType.SAVEFORWEB,pngOpts);
}
The function export the active document of photoshop to the file specified by the saveFile parameter.
It's working fine with simple paths like "C:\images\result.png" but when trying with different paths like "~/Desktop/" or paths with some special characters the file isn't exported, and a "destination folder does not exist" error message appears.
Any idea how can I solve it?
Well, I'm not sure why this is occur but you could try the following modification:
function SavePNG(saveFile){
var tmpFile = "./tmp.png";
tmpFile = new File(tmpFile);
var pngOpts = new ExportOptionsSaveForWeb;
pngOpts.format = SaveDocumentType.PNG
pngOpts.PNG8 = false;
pngOpts.transparency = true;
pngOpts.interlaced = true;
pngOpts.quality = 100;
activeDocument.exportDocument(tmpFile,ExportType.SAVEFORWEB,pngOpts);
tmpFile.rename (saveFile);
tmpFile.changePath(saveFile);
}
it'll export the file into a temporary file and then rename & move it to the requested path, should solve the path problem.
exportDocument expects a full file name, not a folder path.
This works:
activeDocument.exportDocument(new File("~/foo/foo.png"), ExportType.SAVEFORWEB, pngOpts);
This doesn't work and gives the 'destination folder does not exist' error message:
activeDocument.exportDocument(new File("~/foo/"), ExportType.SAVEFORWEB, pngOpts);
For people having this error and not using photoshop-script.
The error might be unbound to the destination folder, but occurs because the folder, which was used for the export step, is deleted. So either
recreate the folder, which was used during recording, or
recreate the export step

Why can't I set a Stream using the FtpWebRequest.GetRequestStream() method?

I have been trying to write a simple ftp client using c# in .NET 2.0 for 3 days now and am
missing something. I I create an ftpWebRequest object and set all its properies.
string uri = host + remoteFile;
System.Net.FtpWebRequest ftp = (FtpWebRequest)(FtpWebRequest.Create(uri));
ftp.Credentials = new System.Net.NetworkCredential(username, password);
ftp.KeepAlive = false;
ftp.UseBinary = true;
ftp.Method = System.Net.WebRequestMethods.Ftp.UploadFile;
But when I go to get the stream, it fails...
System.IO.Stream strm = ftp.GetRequestStream();
Here is the error: "System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (501) Syntax error in parameters or arguments."
This method SHOULD return the stream I need to write to and many examples do exactly this. I'm not sure what I'm missing. My host looks like this: "ftp://myhostname/" and I've triple checked my credentials.
Please help!
may be ftp.UseBinary = true; is not supported by server?
You are missing the "/" after the host:
string uri = host + "/" + remoteFile;
and the remote file string should look like this: file.txt without any path.
