Can't remove execjs gem - ruby

I am using Ruby and I am having trouble removing a gem. The gem is execjs. Here is some background information.
rvm use #global
rvm gem list
Outputs...
*** LOCAL GEMS ***
...
execjs (1.2.9)
...
Running either of the following commands
rvm gem uninstall execjs
OR
rvm gem uninstall execjs -v 1.2.9
outputs this
INFO: gem "execjs" is not installed
So it showed the gem in the gem list, but when I go to uninstall it, it says that it isn't there. I'm confused ?

You should use this command for remove any gem
gem uninstall execjs -v=1.2.9
Hope it will work.

Unable to install bundler with gem

I am using ruby 2.6.5 and I try to install bundler -v 2.2.27 gem according to documentation using this command:
gem install bundler -v 2.2.27 --default
And this is the output I get:
gem install bundler -v 2.2.27 --default
Successfully installed bundler-2.2.27 as a default gem
ERROR: While executing gem ... (Errno::ENOENT)
No such file or directory # dir_chdir - /Users/jedrek/.rvm/gems/ruby-2.6.5/specifications/gems/bundler-2.2.27
It says it installed the gem but errors out at the same time :)
When I check current version of bundler I get this output
gem info bundler

(2.2.24): /Users/jedrek/.rvm/gems/ruby-2.6.5
(2.1.4): /Users/jedrek/.rvm/gems/ruby-2.6.5
As you can see it says that bundler -v 2.2.27 is installed.
When I try to install dependencies in my project I get this error:
bundle install

Bundler could not find compatible versions for gem "bundler":

Perhaps you need to update Bundler by running `gem install bundler`?

I am so confused. Is this is a bug?
I am using rubygems 3.2.27
gem --version

UPDATE
I tried upgrading rubygems to 3.2.32 and have the same issue.

Ideally you would use RVM or rbenv to create a local sandbox and handle your Ruby install and gems instead of the system default. Then you won't have to use sudo you can just use gem uninstall <gem>. It doesn't let you have access for a reason, so it's harder to accidentally mess up the system Ruby.
If you can just read these install directions to get set up with RVM and then install the gems you used previously in your new environment. It'll save you a lot headaches in the future managing Ruby and gems.

If you don't want to do that you could try this answer
Try this answer from this related question.
gem list -d 'name of gem' and note the "Installed at:" location
sudo gem uninstall 'name of gem' -i 'the path noted above'
If it still returns a permissions error. Create a folder /bin, in the path above. Continue uninstalling as in step 2, still using the original path (/System/Library/Frameworks/Ruby.framework/Versions/1.8/usr/lib/ruby/gems/1.8).
sudo is not a magic wand that casts a spell “do it anyway.”
When you list your gems, you execute plain gem list from the user. It lists gems installed for the user. Afterwards you try sudo gem uninstall rake. Why do you expect superuser’s list of gems being the same as user’s one?
To remove user’s gems, listed with gem list, use gem uninstall rake. Without sudo.
To list superuser’s gems, that you were tried to remove with sudo gem uninstall rake, use sudo gem list. With sudo.

Unable to activate susy-2.1.1, because sass-3.2.17 conflicts with sass (~> 3.3.0)

I have installed the latest versions of compass, sass and susy. But still I am getting this error:
Unable to activate susy-2.1.1, because sass-3.2.17 conflicts with sass (~> 3.3.0)
Anyone knows how this Ruby thing works?
This is the list of my installed gems:
*** LOCAL GEMS ***
CFPropertyList (2.2.0)
chunky_png (1.3.0)
compass (0.12.4)
compass-core (1.0.0.alpha.19)
compass-import-once (1.0.4)
compass-rails (1.1.3)
fssm (0.2.10)
libxml-ruby (2.6.0)
multi_json (1.9.2)
nokogiri (1.5.6)
rb-fsevent (0.9.4)
rubygems-update (2.2.2)
sass (3.3.4, 3.3.3, 3.2.17)
sqlite3 (1.3.7)
susy (2.1.1)
gem install compass --pre
if you ended up uninstalling the sass 3.3.0 gem you should reinstall that first.
The best way without a doubt is to install Susy via the Compass Susy Plugin. This will avoid conflicts with other Compass projects that require the current version.
Commands:
gem install compass
gem install compass-susy-plugin
If you use Bundler, it will ensure that the gems in your Gemfile are the ones used by your project. So your Gemfile should specify "susy", "~>2.1.1" and "sass", "~>3.3.2", plus any other that you require, such as "breakpoint", "~>2.4.1". It then won't matter what versions are installed inside your Ruby gems folder. When you then do a 'bundle install', Bundler ensures that your project will only use the correct dependencies. This is, of course, a CLI instruction through the terminal. Alternatively, simply do a 'sudo gem uninstall sass -v 3.2.17', if you don't want to use Bundler.
I'm using Ubuntu server 14.04 and I had the same problem and this is what I have done
Remove all my gems with gem uninstall gemname
Install bundler with sudo apt-get install bundler
Create a Gemfile as #Remy said before. Here is a Getting Started With Bundler Guide
And finally bundle install
After that, bundler create a Gemfile.lock where are specified all the needed gems and its versions, so you can use it safely.

Is it a known bug? or am i doing something wrong?
For Ruby 2.0.0-p0, I also get similar warnings from gem check. However, I don't have issues at runtime with any of these gems. I suspect this might be a bug with Rubygems check command in 2.0.0.
I have similar errors. Passing options to compiler fix installation.
Before install readline and openssl with Homebrew.
RUBY_CONFIGURE_OPTS="--with-readline-dir=$(brew --prefix readline)
--with-openssl-dir=$(brew --prefix openssl)" rbenv install 2.0.0-p0

Installing compass succeeds, but it is not accessible

(new to ruby here)
I am running on CrunchBang Linux statler.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled compass several times, just to make sure.
This is what I do:
» gem query
*** LOCAL GEMS ***
chunky_png (1.2.7)
fssm (0.2.10)
sass (3.2.5)
And then:
» sudo gem install compass
Successfully installed compass-0.12.2
1 gem installed
Installing ri documentation for compass-0.12.2...
Installing RDoc documentation for compass-0.12.2...
Let's check:
» gem query
*** LOCAL GEMS ***
chunky_png (1.2.7)
compass (0.12.2)
fssm (0.2.10)
sass (3.2.5)
And:
» gem which compass
/var/lib/gems/1.8/gems/compass-0.12.2/lib/compass.rb
But:
» compass
-bash: compass: command not found
So, what did I do wrong?
If you're using rbenv, run $ rbenv rehash.
Do this whenever you install a gem containing an executable (usually .../bin/<someExecutable>).
It seems gem is broken in Ubuntu. The following is needed:
PATH=/var/lib/gems/1.8/bin:$PATH
