Asp.Net MVC 3 Free Text Editor with File Upload - asp.net-mvc-3

I spent all day yesterday looking for a text editor for my Asp.Net MVC 3 application without any joy. What I am looking for is a text editor that I will use to allow a user to add a news story. Therefore, it would be nice if when using the editor the user, as well obviously adding text, could embed an image by hitting an image icon and browsing to their local drive. And also to highlight text, ie 'Further Info', and be able to link to a document which they can also upload.
I know you might think reading this that there are loads of tutorials etc on the Web that already explain that, but after a full day of researching yesterday I have not been able to find any. Either the documentation is for asp.net Web Forms, or PHP etc, but I can find hardly any info on how to implement this for MVC.
I know that the likes of CKEditor and TINYMCE are availble, but I can find no information on how to implement these to my requirements stated above.
If anyone knows of any tutorials or even any alternatives that I could use it would be very much appreciated.

This might be what you are looking for. A solution for tinymce: http://www.xdevsoftware.com/blog/post/TinyMCE-Image-Upload-Plugin-for-ASPNET.aspx

How to add RichText editor to a page as component in HippoCMS?

I'm creating some project using HippoCMS 10 and I need to add RichText editor as part of the page, so that customer can use it and fill something there. This editor must act exactly the same way as in Document Editor (customer can click Image button in toolbar and select image from ImagePicker dialog box).
Can't find anything about it in HippoCMS official documentation. I learned how to create custom plugins and how to integrate CKEditor into page separately, but for image picking, I need default behaviour as in Hippo.
How can I achieve this? Any help will be appreciated!
I think your question was answered on the community group. The answer there was:
"it should be quite easy to have a CKEditor in the website.
However, it doesn't really make sense to me to have site visitors able to pick CMS documents and images from the site. The picker dialogs are designed to work inside the CMS only. You should be able to create your own picker dialog that can read from a REST service that exposes the images/documents.
I don't think it will be possible to reuse the CMS picker dialog in the site."
and
"your use case is fine, when I said "it doesn't really make sense", I was really referring to the technical limitations of the pickers. You should be able to achieve what you want with a custom dialog that plugs into a REST service though. Unfortunately there is no quick solution for this that I can think of."
Just adding this for future reference.

Microsoft Web Matrix

Pretty easy question I hope: does anyone know of a tool that will effectively scrape sites built with Microsoft Matrix? I could write the code in python, but it will take me way longer than I think I want to dedicate to the task, namely because of the really bad and ugly HTML generated by Matrix.
I have tried Web Harvey, Helium Scraper, and I tried the Web Scraper plugin for Chrome. WebHarvey choked on the HTML and couldn't load subsequent pages. Helium Scraper was able to move from one details page to another (the Next links were followed) but content from within the details pages was not lifted out. The Chrome plugin web scraper was not able to navigate links, with the popup window displaying an error page. My gut is telling me that this has to do with uniquely ASP.net things, but I could be wrong.
Any pointers or suggestions appreciated.
You know there are two completely different versions of Microsoft Web Matrix right? There's the one from 2003; i have no idea what its html looks like. There's the one from 2011 to current which uses razor cshtml source files to produce its html. In the 2011+ one, you write the html by hand; there's no drag and drop, and so it's unlikely you'll get consistent html from site to site.

Google forms - Get a custom form with many pages

I spent the last two hours searching on the Internet how to solve my problem but no one seems to experience this issue.
As many of you know, we can create a form on Google Forms Tool, then get source code and apply it to our own website giving us the ability to customize it.
My problem is: My form is really big so I separated it in different pages (I inserted "page break") and it is working.
But when I go get the source code, apply to my site, and I click "continue" it goes directly to google again...
Is there any way I can solve this?
I tried embed code but then i have another problem: I can't style it with css!!
Thank you, hope you guys can help me :)

whick one is better fkeditor or ckeditor?

i am running through a problem to choose either fkeditor or ckeditor which one is better than the other in my project. and how can i get the tutorial regarding customization of any one of these editor in php.
Can you name some websites where i could get the help thanks.
CKEditor is formerly known as FCKEditor (the creator was unaware that FCKEditor didn't sound very... professional) - so you'll want CKEditor.
The CKEditor website has a wealth of information - check out the User Guide, Tutorials and How Tos. Also, when you have downloaded the CKEditor file, you'll find some example code in ckeditor/_samples/php which should help.

Alternative til jQuery Lazyload

I have searched and searched, but didn't find what I was looking for, so sorry if it's already there. I did a photo blog for a friend and used to implement jQuery Jazyload (http://www.appelsiini.net/projects/lazyload) to load all the pictures along the way, however, it doesn't work in all browsers anymore and he stopped developing it. I heard of http://www.sebastianoarmelibattana.com/projects/jail/, but it will need a lot of extra text and code when you have 500-1,000 pictures on one site. Also I want to be able to load the images lets say 1000px, before they appear in the window.
Do anyone have suggestions/solution or else, to get the problem fixed?

Thank you in advance.

It is the part of automatically removing image src which does not work anymore. Version 1.5 released Dec 23, 2009 provided alternative where you must alter HTML and store image url in original attribute. I renamed it recently to data-originalto be HTML5 friendly. I also updated to documentation which better explains how to use it.
But yes. The way Lazy Load used to work is not possible anymore. Before you could just drop in the JavaScript and it handled everything automagically. Due to changes in new browsers you now must alter the HTML.
PS. Lazy Load is not dead. It was just orphan for a while.
