I think there are two ways to add libs. 1 is using #pragma comment, another is adding it in the linker option in the project property.
Which one is better?

Is there somebody who has used 'Scons' as a replacement for 'make' for quite large FPGA projects?
Did it ran out-of-the-box or is there still some hacking to be done for the VHDL or Verilog language? And what about the integration with Modelsim/ISE/Vivado/Quartus?
Or should I stick to makefiles for a while?

Simple question, have you used them, which do you prefer? Do either of them display the current branch in an easy to see place?
Edit: If you have a preference, please let me know why. It is crucial in making an educated decision.
I prefer VisualHG.
