"Add as Link" for visual studio 2010 AddIn - visual-studio-2010

I can't figure out how to add a "linked" file to a project "Add as link" programmatically in an AddIn for Visual Studio 2010 - the way you do it via the solution explorer "Add->Existing Item->Add as Link" in visual studio.
Would appreciate some pointers on this.
Thank you!

The Add Existing Item dialog's add button has a down arrow on the right, it subtle. But it will change the Add to "Add as Link"

How to make toolbars in Visual Studio 2010 float?

I used to make my toolbars float in Visual Studio 2008, but it can no longer be done with Visual Studio 2010. Read the documentation and found nothing, any idea how to do that? Holding either Ctrl, Alt, Shift wouldn't help.
According to this - That's impossible on VS 2010.
Right click on toolbars --> customize... --> on a "toolbar" tab select the toolbar that you want to move --> click on the "Modify Selection" and select the "Dock Location".

Stop Visual Studio 2010 opening XSDs in design mode

Visual Studio 2010 now opens XSD files in design mode by default. I can't find any option for disabling this. Is there a way to always open XSD files in text mode?
Right click on an XSD file, choose "Open with..." and select the appropriate option - then click on "Set as Default" before you actually open it.
Visual Studio 2012, right click XSD file, Advanced, View with.
