Starting Cassandra Server Error - windows

I have a problem starting Server, it shows this error on starting.
C:\cassandra107\bin>cassandra
Starting Cassandra Server
Error opening zip file or JAR manifest missing : C:\apache-cassandra-1.0.7\bin\l
ib\jamm-0.2.5.jar
Error occurred during initialization of VM
agent library failed to init: instrument
I have Set Envi Variables:
"CASSANDRA_HOME" variable as "C:\cassandra107\bin"
"JAVA_HOME" variable as "C:\Program Files\Java\jre6"
I have another Doubt why is still pointing c:\apache when i have set the Envi Variable as c:\cassandra107
pls help me out thanks in advance

I think you might want to point CASSANDRA_HOME to "C:\cassandra107" rather than "C:\cassandra107\bin" and start cassandra as "bin\cassandra" in "C:\cassandra107"

I'd use the Windows installer from http://www.datastax.com/products/community instead of trying to run it manually.

Server agent not opening in JMeter

I installed serverAgent 2.2.3
When I run it in cmd I get this error.
enter image description here
I tried starting the startAgent. bat. It automatically closes.
Thanks for looking.
That's very weird because the error states that sl4j library cannot be found in CLASSPATH and ServerAgent doesn't use this library at all.
Try downloading it from Github and unpacking it somewhere else. Also if you have CLASSPATH environment variable set - try clearing/unsetting it.
set CLASSPATH= && startAgent.bat

Alternatively you can try downloading sl4j.jar and dropping it near ServerAgent.jar but it is not a part of normal ServerAgent installation procedure.

kafka-connect error: ORA-01882 timezone region not found for configuration docker

I'm running confluent platform on docker and playing around. Followed the steps to install ojdbc8.jar driver and environment seems to be up and running without any errors.
Getting below error when I configure the connector from the control center.
Driver seems to be the correct because I get "no suitable driver found" error when I tried ojdbc10.jar
I tried passing below configs together & separate ..nothing helps.
CONNECT_OPTS: "-Doracle.jdbc.timezoneAsRegion=false"
CONNECT_USER_TIMEZONE: "+01:00"
wondering whats the proper method to set this configuration ?
To add generic JVM opts, you'd set KAFKA_OPTS.
Neither CONNECT_OPTS nor CONNECT_USER_TIMEZONE are loaded by the container's processes.
So, try
KAFKA_OPTS: "-Doracle.jdbc.timezoneAsRegion=false -Duser.timezone=Europe/London"

Error while installing Weblogic in windows 10

While installing the Weblogic in windows 10 using jar file, I am getting the error message as Unable to access or modify the system registry. Select Run as Administrator when opening the Command Prompt and try again. though am executing as Administrator. From the log file I got the below error.
WARNING [1] com.oracle.cie.common.jni.WinRegistryHelper - Create Key Failed: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Oracle
2017-10-06 11:19:54,972 SEVERE [1] com.oracle.cie.nextgen.launcher.PlatformHelper - createRegistry to add a value failed
2017-10-06 11:19:54,972 SEVERE [1] com.oracle.cie.nextgen.launcher.Launcher - Unable to access or modify the system registry. Select Run as Administrator when opening the Command Prompt and try again.
I understood that on making the System Registry entry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Oracle, it is failing because the same entry already exists in my system as HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ORACLE. Though system registry is case-insensitive, weblogic is failing on making entries to this registry. Is there any solution to overcome this? The same issue has been already posted in different sites but not yet answered.Any help to solve this issue will be really appreciable.
I had the same problem, the next lines works to solve the problem.
Open cmd like administrator.
java -d64 -jar fmw_12.2.1.3.0_wls.jar If you don't have correctly configured the JAVA_HOME, you can replace the word "java", for the path where you have installed de JDK. Something like this:
C:\JRockit\jdk1.8.0_144\bin\java.exe

Error configuring wildfly as a windows service

I am using wildfly 10.1 in standalone mode and need to use it as a service.
I copied the service files to the bin folder and then installed the service from the command prompt.
This works well, except that it is impossible to stop the service without killing the process using taskkill.
As a fix, I tried replacing
set DESCRIPTION="WildFly Application Server"
with
set DESCRIPTION=WildFly Application Server
in the service.bat file as mentioned here. But this is causing the service not to start. The system log says:
The Wildfly service terminated with the following service-specific
error: Incorrect function.
How can I fix this issue and get the service starting and stoppping normally?
Add System variable JAVA_HOME to System variable and try to start the service. It worked for me.

JDeveloper IntegratedWebLogicServer not able to build default domain

Error: ADRS_DOMAIN_PASSWORD environment variable not set.
Exiting WebLogic Scripting Tool.
C:\Users\mologan>
Has anyone seen this type of error before? I have no idea how to fix it and its getting really frustrating. All help is much appreciated!
Cheers,
Morris
Open CreateDefaultDomain.py file and set ADRS_DOMAIN_PASSWORD.
import os
os.putenv('ADRS_DOMAIN_PASSWORD', 'welcome1')
if not 'ADRS_DOMAIN_PASSWORD' in os.environ:
print("Error: ADRS_DOMAIN_PASSWORD environment variable not set.")
exit()
I found this answer:
Domain creation fails after installing on new Windows version (7338577, 7339920, 8654914)
When JDeveloper is installed on a newly released Windows version, it is possible that Jython, which is used by Oracle WebLogic Server's script tool, does not recognize the Windows version and instead assumes that it is running in a Linux environment.
This causes domain creation to fail with the following error in CreateDefaultDomain.log:
wlst > Failed to get environment, environ will be empty: (0, 'Failed to /
execute command ([\'sh\', \'-c\', \'env\']): java.io.IOException: Cannot run /
program "sh": CreateProcess error=2, The system cannot find the file /
specified')/
# wlst > Error: ADRS_DOMAIN_PASSWORD environment variable not set.
The workaround is to obtain a patch for jython-modules.jar, or to run on a supported version of Windows.

I'm using JDeveloper 12.2.1.3.0.
Have the same problem, and all I had to to is exit the JDeploper, kill the Java process in the Task Manager, and restarting JDev again.
