Creating interactive map with processing - processing

We are trying to find a way to create interactive maps with Processing, in which we can:
Hover over countries with mouse and have the whole country be highlighted.
Have the user click on the country and provide additional information on that country.
These would entail that there is a package in Processing with the areas of each country defined. Does such a package exist? I know they exist for the jQuery space through jVectorMap. Does the equivalent exists for Processing?

Have a look at the following sources:

Which region would work best to display what I need on Oracle APEX

I am trying to make a page that returns header information for all employees, but when an employee is clicked it returns all details of that employee. I have drawn up an example that may better help explain what I am trying to do. I am curious on what type of regions I should choose, and if there is an example application that I could use to base mine off of. Thanks!

Using the wizard:
create page
report
report with form
It'll create two pages:
an interactive report (you'll use to view some info for all employees on the same page, as if they are in an Excel worksheet) and
a form, which lets you show all details related to selected employee (which means that form can contain many more items than report)

JFXtras Calendar Picker

I would like some samples of code to start using jfxtras calendarpicker, please.
I am writing a JavaFX app scheduler. I need to select multiple dates into an array or list, and would like to keep the calendar open while a user selects and deselects dates. Datepicker closes annoyingly after a selection, and I cannot extend the code to stop it as methods and fields are private :-(
The selections may need to be highlighted in different colors depending on type of selection. The jfxtras calendarpicker looks ideal :-)
I downloaded the jfxtras-icalendarfx-15-r2. jar from https://search.maven.org/search?q=g:org.jfxtras
I have read the javadoc, but would like some simple samples to start.
I don't think there is too much to put in examples; you just create the control add add it to a Pane. If you set
calendarPicker.setMode(CalendarPicker.Mode.MULTIPLE)
then you allow multiple calendars to be selected, which are available in the collection
calendarPicker.calendars()
And that basically is it. As the javadoc describes, you can prevent days from being selected using disabledCalenders, or highlight some using highlightedCalendars, both can be repopulated when the displayed range changes using setCalendarRangeCallback. And that is about it. It does not support different kinds of highlight, but I figure you can use CSS to do something with that. Not sure what your requirements are.
You can take a peek at the tests
https://github.com/JFXtras/jfxtras/blob/11/jfxtras-controls/src/test/java/jfxtras/scene/control/test/CalendarPickerTest.java
I would suggest looking at LocalDatePicker or LocalDateTimePicker instead of Calendar though. Same functionality but using the new DateTime API.
And alternative would be JFXtras agenda.

Dynamic content display

when I select (say customer) using Dropdown I would want to show users all the properties on a side table or division. Essentially, displaying the selected customer's fields on the same page for the users to verify/read.
I am using laravel-backpack for development and finding it difficult to implement. Any help is greatly appreciated.
I'm afraid there's no existing way to achieve that, you'd have to code it.
But you don't have to start from scratch, you can use the code for the select2 field (or whatever field you prefer) and create a new field type, say select2_and_preview by tweaking the Javascript inside that one file.
There's recently been a Feature Request for a similar feature (see here), you might want to pitch in with your opinion if you want it created by the team, and included in the official build.

Export data from a list view using a button

I am building a simple admin-on-rest application. One of the features is the user to export the content from a list view. So far I have two possible approaches in mind.
Export based on the selected filters (my favorite).
Export based on the selected rows from the table using check boxes.
I guess two things are necessary to achieve that:
Be able to render a button somewhere in "list view": would be great to add an "export" button inside the "filters" section. I couldn't find a way to render an "export" button keeping the filters.
That "export" button would be able to get the filters (from the list view filter section) for creating my custom URL for downloading the data. Or if using check boxes, detect the selected rows from the table and export that data.
I have been looking for examples or following other colleagues questions and I coundn't come up with anything similar. Any info/example/project will be much appreciated.
This is quite solvable. The filter is stored in the redux form and can be accessed by any connected component. I am guessing you have an API endpoint available that you can ping with the filter data and that can then generate the file and respond with the file URL.
1) Write a connected button component. This should have a mapStateToProps method to access the current filter data
https://marmelab.com/admin-on-rest/List.html#actions
2) It should also dispatch an action that generates a POST request.
https://marmelab.com/admin-on-rest/Actions.html#using-a-custom-action-creator
IMPORTANTLY: You will have to think about how the file itself will get downloaded. Since you are generating the URL on the fly, it will not be embedded in the model data so you do not have access to it. You might have to hard code a file name and path into your components so clicking will always lead to a download. Though this is not as trivial as it sounds, as the file generation itself will be an async operation. I think clicking this button should lead to a redirect to a page where the download link is displayed.
Just to complement krunal's answer, there's a library called FileSaver that can take a json response and start a file save operation with its content, showing a file save dialog, or even download it directly to a file of your choice.

How to insert multiple rows into embedded view from a subform? Lotus Notes

I have a section that contains a subform ( containing 3 editable fields for the user ).
Then I have an embedded view categorized having two actions: Add and Trash.
What i want to do: After the user complete the 3 fields and then press Add, the first row in the embedded view will appear. ( This easy thing I did ). But then after the first click on Add, I want that all the 3 fields to be refreshed, all of them to have as their value: "".
After, if the user wants to add another row into the embedded view (with different values), in my case it is overwrited on the 1st row. I want to be separate rows in order.
I tried something with #Command(ViewRefreshFields) into the Add action code but I didn't make it to work. Please help, J. U.
Jazir, I'm guessing that you also go by the names "Florin G Mihalache", "Josh Mitchell" and "Yveniss Ltoreau", and I've been following the development of your application along with many other professional Notes developers.
I really think you need to go back to the very first basics, and work out the difference between forms, subforms, documents, views, embedded views, and other important components of Lotus Notes databases.
I strongly suspect that for a couple of weeks you have been trying to use a form to create other documents, via a subform, to be displayed in an embedded view in that form, when what you should be using is just a view, and documents. Perhaps you might need to use pages, outlines and framesets. It is very important that you understand these basic concepts before confusing the people who have tried to help you, to whom you may have lied.
I have voted your question down, not just because you have shown a lack of research, but because you appear to keep switching ID when people lose patience with you. I will undo that vote if I become convinced that you are not Florin.
The documents displayed in an embedded view are controlled by the view's selection formula. You haven't shown that. You haven't shown your code in the Add button. You haven't shown what properties you have set on the embedded view -- e.g., show single category. So you're not giving us quite enough info to diagnose your problem and help you.
But in general, I think that if you want to control the order of insertion of individual documents into an embedded list, perhaps using an embedded folder would be a better idea than an embedded view.
