Where to find example code for the RD Gateway API? - winapi

I am trying to write a custom authentication module for the Remote Desktop Gateway API. However there is no example code of how to use it on the MSDN. I also have been looking around on the net for any kind of tutorial for writing a custom authentication module, but have found none.
I have found a few high level overviews of how RD Gateway works and how to set it up, and I can get the system as a whole working using Active Directory. However, I need to replace the AD login with a custom authentication module (the reason for the API), but I have not seen a single tutorial or working example code that implements the API.
Can anyone provide some working example code that uses the RD Gateway API? I have a strong feeling that I will not find any tutorials, but just seeing someone else's example code would help immensely.
Language does not matter, but as I have learned from my other question about this API it would be better if the solution was native instead of managed, but a managed solution is fine too.

Sample code can be found here -- http://code.msdn.microsoft.com/Remote-Desktop-Gateway-517d6273

I ended up not going with the custom authentication module route, we just made a new domain and added users to that new domain instead.
The closest I ever found in the way of examples was this MSDN archive titled "Remote Desktop Services Developer Resources".
There is a document named "Using the Pluggable Authentication and Authorization (PAA) Framework for RD Gateway.docx" that has some information, but no example code. You can also check the "Resource Publishing and Connection Brokering" release and it does have some example code of the other RDS modules.

How to put a Google login on my main login form as an option?

I tried searching and Firebase auth always appears.
Firebase Auth is actually free to use for the auth section so it's not a bad option.
There are a lot of moving parts with this and learning by using Firebase as your core is a great way to get introduced without handling so much of the complications. If this is just for education my personal recommendation would be to learn Firebase methods first and then look into replacing it with your own implementation.
However, if you want to just use Google Auth using a native plugin and nothing else then there is a tutorial on IonicThemes.com which covers how to set it up.
You can read it here if you're fast:
https://ionicthemes.com/tutorials/about/ionic-google-login
This question will probably get deleted as it doesn't meet the guidelines to just post links to tutorials, but it's a lengthy process so I don't know what else StackOverflow expects me to offer in this instance. Perhaps just to vote to close your question.

How can I let others read and edit a google sheet (not shared with them) using googleapi, without them having to download credential?

I am a beginner trying out api for fun.
The problem is, lets say, I want to write a simple windows program with golang to let my friends read and edit one of the sheets saved on my google drive. How can I do this without having them download a credential file?
What I want it to do is simply redirect them to the Oauth Page right away, and if their email address is one recognized by the app it will grant them access to that google sheet.
What i think you need is to integrate your go app with Oauth protocol.
More specifically, with the Google provider.
This is mainly 3 steps:
add the oauth client to your application
something like this: https://github.com/golang/oauth2
See their docs on how to do it.
go to google dev documentation and see how to integrate google auth flow into the client: https://developers.google.com/identity/protocols/OAuth2
I'm not sure if google has something more specific for google drive integration and/or go-lang client in particular. Please do some searching.
make the glue code on your go app so that the user can interact with this (the login button (or command, if it is terminal based), error messages, logout, etc)
More questions will appear when you start to do this, however it is a great example to learn Oauth as well.
General guidelines:
https all the queries or oauth is basically useless
oatuh has many auth-flows and you must choose which one(s) you support. use whatever google documentation recommends for m2m scenario (machine 2 machine)
log errors so that your friends can send you a log file for you to debug issues
maybe set some feature flag so that you can simply disable this feature to run/test localhost ? maybe useful? you decide.

xamarin.oauth /xamarin forms Facebook linkedin google authentification

I am new in Xamarin ,I am looking for a way to put facebook/linkedin/google authentication. I have looked at many tutorials but none of them is recent and there are not working well or there are obsolete.
Here is the tutorials, I have found: click to seeing the page
Do you know a recent and better one ?
There are many samples about how to authenticate users in facebook or google. And I find your article here in MSDN with a sample which runs in VS2015. Even though it's a little bit out of date, you can also find something useful.
You can also refer to the official documentation of Xamarin.OAuth and the sample here. Modify the information in Constants to your own's. This article specify how to register in Google and get the Client ID and Redirect URL.
You can read it more carefully then create your own UI to achieve authentication.

Unable to google Google-API directory

I know its silly, but previously this URL used to show me all available google open source API's Pervious working API link but now its showing some other page. I am tired of searching the complete API directory. I want to pick one to learn. I have managed to find a similar page which shows only partial API's directory. Google API directory Can any one provide me the correct URL to see complete directory?
I must admit, it's a mess if you take a fresh start.
Accessing Google Apis can be basically be done in two ways.
The old way : Google Data Java Client Library (a.k.a. "gdata-java-client") : docs here. Implemented services can be found at Google Api Docs (the link you are referring to).
The new way : Google API Client Library for Java (a.k.a. "google-api-java-client") : docs here. The Api explorer shows the generated client libraries using the new infrastructure. Or this list.
Both libraries are available for different languages and for different Google services. GData is the most mature library and supports most services.
The new way however is more flexible : the client libraries and even the docs can be automatically generated for any Google service that is ready to transition to the new infrastructure. On the downside, not all Google services have a client library ready for the new infrastructure (e.g. Contacts).
You can access services that are not yet transitioned but you have to write your own XML model.
There is a migration guide to move from GData to new infrastructure.
try to find it on this page:
http://www.programmableweb.com/apis/directory/1?company=Google
or you can explore some apis here: (i don't know if thats all)
http://code.google.com/apis/explorer/
or just search what you need on:

Google OpenID-OAuth hybrid implementation on Heroku

I am looking for a step by step guide to implement Google OpenID+OAuth in our Webapplication running on Heroku for getting calendar/contacts data. I have looked at many documents and Q&A about this but still can't make things work and was wondering if anyone here knew of a place which describes the plugins, gems needed and a step by step guide. The reason for using the hybrid is that we need a permanent token from Google that we can track for users across multiple sessions.
Truly appreciate any help.
Best,
_KK
You cannot use Google's OpenID to access other service. So you will need to ask user to provide username/password when you want to access calendar (make sure it's SSL-ed!).
So for calendar you can use: GCal4Ruby.
But in general you can access user data using official Google GData gem.
