Am I missing something, the module below is published/enabled yet it still does not show on the page.
Did you select any available position from a template ?
Even if it's easy, this tutorial could be helpful for other people who find this question:

Recently we noticed that our module assignment tab is missing and we cannot assign any items to some modules, example: prntscr.com/8obd8u
Here is snapshot from our previous website (to compare with the current one): prntscr.com/8obdep
Does anyone have any idea what we should check? We disabled all the plugins / one by one to check if it's going to help us, still nothing.
Also, all the pages have a Custom HTML modue. See : prntscr.com/8od9rw
So everything on the page above with a Custom HTML module doesn't have that "Module Assignment"...
Have you tried using web inspector on the problem pages to check the HTML? Maybe the missing tabs are there but there's conflicting CSS from some source which is hiding the tab list items.
You could also try changing the admin template to Hathor and see if that changes anything ... wouldn't solve the problem but might provide some clues.
Good luck!
I have an annoying problem and am hoping someone will be able to help.
We use quite a few extensions on our Joomla site (Roksprocket mainly but also Global News Filter for instance).
The modules themselves are working fine however when I click on an article in one of these modules the article opens but it doesn't use the nice URL that should be displayed (we have Search Engine Friendly URLs set to Yes and Use URL rewriting set to Yes). This happens for all modules that draw off a category (so I don't think its linked to a specific extension).
For instance on our Case Studies page if you click on Read More on the RSA Case Study you get this URL
http://www.assima.net/en/resources/case-studies/99-home/resources/case-studies/ats-case-studies/649-case-study-rsa
but what you should get is the menu item URL associated with this article which is this
http://www.assima.net/en/resources/case-studies/ats-case-studies/rsa
I don't think there is anything wrong with our .htaccess as I reverted back to the default Joomla one and it still occured.
Also this used to work perfectly. I first noticed it around October or November last year.
If anyone has any ideas I would really appreciate it, I've googled the problem many times and not found any help.
Thanks
Emma
FIXED.
Due to a Joomla bug. Fixed by overwriting the route.php file as described in this post: http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?f=625&t=831007&start=30
I am a newbie in Joomla and trying my luck in Virtuemart.
I published some products in http://anuskincare.com/anuskincare/ under 'products' but I see no products at all. However, I can see them inside page-source. I suspect its a template problem. Please share your valuable comments and opinions on how this can be fixed.
Thanks a ton
You definately have a problem loading jQuery. A very likely possibility is that your virtuemart configuration isn't specifying to load the jquery library. Try changing those settings and see if that then loads the library for you.
If that doesn't do it, you'll see that the first JS error is: jQuery is not defined - If you're not using Firebug, I'd start by getting that, then visiting the JED and seeing if any of the jQuery Plugins will assist with the problem.
we have purchased the "moo faq" component.. but it is not working form our side... we have installed the component as the component package consists of the plugins and the module... we have made a section and under that section we have made a category.. under that same section and the category we have made an article but the content of the article is not showing.. we have made a menu and linked it to the category... the front-end link is only showing the "expand" and "Collapse" link but not showing the content of the article.. this is the link where you can see the problem "http://www.musiclibrary.fi/en/for-now/faqtest".. you can see this link under the "For now" link in the menu which will come after logged in... the login details is UN==samitbose PW==samitbose2011 .. we are using joomla version 1.5.23 and MooFaq version is 1.5.5.4... Please have a look on this point .. any help will be greatly appreciated.. thanks in advance...
Looks like you are still struggling with this.
If so, I'd check the following:
The FAQ category is published
The FAQ question itself is published
The menu links to the same category that contains the question
The category/question are no set to 'special' access level
My initial thought on reading the question was that this would be a clash with Mootools/jQuery or perhaps Mootools in the component and the Mootools upgrade plugin. I don't see anything in the page to point to this though.
If none of the above points you in the right direction - chase the developers, especially as this is a paid extension.
I am a newb in magento and recently started looking at it to create a store for my client.
I am not sure but i tried installing firephp extension and soon after that I’m having my screen looks like the screenshot. ** please check the link provided!
Do I have to make any installations to get everything working as normal or what am I suppose to do to go to the normal screen. I have also changed the inline translation option to NO if thats what it requires.
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers I have also posted this question on the magento forum

Looks like you turned on some sort of template building helper that shows what templates generate which parts of the page.
Some quick googling found this, which appears to be the one. Look for "Template Path Hints" in the settings and turn it off.
