I get this error, I try to copy my old project to another with modifing the name of namspace

The error indicates that you have another file with a partial definition of this same class that shares a different base class. Find this other partial definition and resolve.

How can I fix an error in Xcode that shows an unknown class in Interface Builder

I try to compile my project and I got the following error:
2021-02-05 14:33:32.012929-0300 testeNovaView[3811:50182] [Storyboard] Unknown class _TtC13testeNovaView9VIewFile2 in Interface Builder file.
I try to open the storyboard file as a source code, but I can't find any reference from the class _TtC13testeNovaView9VIewFile2.
Where is that reference?
I find the problem.
I deleted the class some time ago, but didn't remove from the ViewController before remove the file.
I created the file again attach to the view Controller.
After that I remove the file from the view Controller, I create another file and put it in the viewController.
The error has gone now.

Xamarin Android Binding Library Custom Namespace Not Recognized

I am creating a Xamarin Android binding library for an existing JAR that contains a single class and following the Xamarin binding library documentation, I am able to successfully rename the namespace using:
<attr path="/api/package[#name='com.company.blah']" name="managedName">Company.Blah</attr>
I also confirmed the namespace is changed in the generated class in the 'obj/Debug' folder:
namespace Company.Blah {
// Metadata.xml XPath class reference: path="/api/package[#name='com.company.blah']/class[#name='NativeClass']"
[global::Android.Runtime.Register ("com/sprylab/android/widget/TextureVideoView", DoNotGenerateAcw=true)]
public partial class NativeClass
{
...
}
}
I face two problems:
I am unable to reference NativeClass from a sample Android project. It's like to doesn't see the namespace at all. The binding project built successfully without errors.
If I remove the package namespace rename setting, it also builds successfully and I am then able to reference it in my sample project but it requires that I fully qualify the class name anywhere it is used:
private com.company.blah.NativeClass nativeClass;
I'm hoping if I can fix #1, then #2 will not show up again. If so, I'm also curious how you prevent fully qualified class names from showing up?
Going into the project settings of the binding library project and clearing the box to the right of the assembly name seemed to do the trick. Looking inside the csproj directly, it is the root namespace.

Unknown class in Interface Builder file. Xcode 6 and Swift

I started a vanilla master detail project with swift. If I add a new view controller and set the custom class, then the modules list is empty and it is not possible to choose a module. The error message "Unknown class in Interface Builder file." appears in the console if I run the code.
How can I setup the storyboard to know the custom class and module?
How it should be. The two classes from the template are just fine.
and how it is
I have to add customModule="Target_Name" customModuleProvider="target" to the interface builder source code. That is really annoying!
Update:
If I move the whole project directory to another, e.g. to the desktop it works. Looks like my directory with the name "Repository" is broken. Don't know why :(
I used to encounter the same issue, I finally found that the StoryBoard's Target Membership has been set incorrectly
.
I was getting the same problem but I discovered that I had inadvertently assigned a non-existing custom class to the view object managed by my view controller. So in the storyboard document view, I selected the badly configured view object, then in the identity inspector, deleted the bad custom class displayed for it (by backspacing and hitting return). That took care of the problem.
In my case, the custom class should be assigned to to the view controller, and not the view object managed by the controller.
I hit a similar issue when I changed the default Xcode project's UIViewController subclass to instead be a subclass of UITableViewController. (I made this change in the class source file, nothing to do with Storyboard).
I then went and typed my new class name into the IB "Class" field of the default "view" in the Storyboard. It would not autocomplete my class name, and then gave the Unknown class in Interface Builder file error when run.
The solution was to delete the default UIViewController object from the Storyboard, then add a new UITableViewController. Then, set that object's Class in IB to be your custom class.
It seems like the original question may be hitting this issue, as the first screenshot's class is ...ViewController and the second is ...TableViewController.
I've encountered the same issue and got it fixed. Reading this question gave me an idea to check the Identity Inspector further more and I found that the class Module should be inherit from target instead from a None module as I had.
Try checking the Inherit Module From Target checkbox and rebuild.
Hope it can help someone, obviously your problem has been solved since it was published in 2014.

Fail to load assembly on a MVC View

Some Context
I have one closed source asp.net MVC application distributed for several customers. I'm trying to develop a extension to include some very specific functionalities that will be used by a single customer (he will also have the extension source code).
I'm developing the extension as another mvc project, loaded as an area. I'm trying to avoid having to deploy the extension binaries in the main application '/bin' folder.
I'm loading the extension assembly and it's dependencies manually in the PreApplicationStartMethod of the main application assembly. The area registration process went fine and the area routes are registered as intended.
The Problem
When I try to load some extension pages, I got a "The view 'xx' or its master was not found or no view engine supports the searched locations." message. I investigated I little and replaced the view contents with a 'Hello' string. The view was rendered correctly.
I tried to produce a minimal that triggers the error and turns out it's the '#model'directive. I tried to figure out what's happening and It's an assembly loading error. I created a minimal view with '#model object' and tried to cast the Model to original type and got the following error message: "Could not load file or assembly 'xxx' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified." (this assembly contains the class type used by the view)
Just to confirm the issue, I moved the mentioned assembly to the main application '/bin' folder and everything worked.
I also inserted some model manipulation instructions on the controller, just to investigate if an exception will appear but everything went fine, I could even render a grid using json.
I'm loading every assemly with:
var assembly = Assembly.LoadFrom(file)
BuildManager.AddReferencedAssembly(assembly)
There's something extra I need to do ?
Needed to add the assembly private path
AppDomain.CurrentDomain.AppendPrivatePath(pluginFolder);
Don't know the real explanation for it but I guess it's relates to the use of Assembly.LoadFrom(file) instead of Assembly.Load() and the fact that views are compiled later.

Bind data from source under xaml designer

I am using a split page view for one of my page layouts in my Windows 8 app. If I run the app in debug mode the source details are loaded and everything is fine.
However, in my XAML designer view I am unable to bind the data to the view using d:Source & d:DataContext even though I've defined the xmlns:data source.
The error I get is as follows: The name "MyDataSource" does not exist in the namespace "using:MyApp.Data"
Has anyone come across this before?
I figured it out in the end. Rookie mistake, I used the incorrect namespace. Instead of MyApp.Data, I used just MyData in defining the source file namespace model.
