Hibernate exception in inserting data in asyn manner - spring

Question

I am using Spring RESTful service, these service are accessed by Android device for inserting data in our database. when two simultaneous request comes it gives the exception. I am using MySQL database.

There is two paths to go, depending about should question_id_2 be unique.
If it should be unique, you have to change that part of the code that generates it to guarantees uniqueness.
If it should not be unique, you can downgrade it to normal column and add surrogate key. Using identifier generator takes burden of creating unique values away from you.
Also in general it can make sense to consider possibility to divide information stored in question_id_2, if it is not some kind external identifier. It looks like combination of timestamp and two other pieces of data.

This is a multithread issue. The hibernate Session is not thread save. One hibernate session only can be used for one browser (Android) session (except if synchronised with the Java synchronized{} block - which is not recommendable here).
If you generate your unique id by yourself and you do not let the database do it, but do it yourself, your id generation may not be synchronised and thread safe. Contrary the MySQL id generation is thread safe - check the generator definition for the id column.
