This MSDN article refer to 3 flavors of Visual Studio Express 2012:
"This includes Visual Studio Express 2012 for Windows 8, Visual Studio
Express 2012 for Windows Phone 7, and Visual Studio Express 2012 for
Web."
However I can't find any other reference or download link to **Visual Studio Express 2012 for Windows Phone 8**. Does anybody know?

Windows Phone SDK 8.0 and Visual Studio Express 2012 for Windows Phone releases have been announced on Oct 30 2012 in the Build conference.
According to http://www.microsoft.com/visualstudio/11/en-us/products/express they will be available as soon as the product group for Windows Phone will release again a newer version of the SDK (probably a major release).
Visual Studio Express 2012 for Windows Phone is now available and you can download it from here. Scroll down to the "Visual Studio Express 2012" section and expand the node for "Visual Studio Express 2012 for Windows Phone".

I cannot find 100% answer if there is an option to develop Windws Phone 7 app using Visual Studio 2015. I am almost sure it is immposible but still not 100%.
There is nothing about Windows Phone 7 in Visual Studio 2015 specifications as below:

No, you can't use VS 2015 for WP7 development. You even can't use VS 2013 for that. Only VS 2010 and 2012 can be used to develop apps for WP7.

According to Microsoft, Windows Phone 8.1 development requires Visual Studio 2013 Update 2 or newer, you can't use Visual Studio 2012. Note that although that page recommends installing the Express edition of Visual Studio if you don't have a paid one, it is better to install the Community edition (and of course, now you should go for VS 2015 instead of VS 2013).
Today I downloaded Microsoft Visual Studio Express 2012 for Windows 8. But whenever I choose to start a new vb windows store project, it shows me that the project is being created and just after it has been created it shows the message that
