Is it possible in any browser to find text on a webpage using search and "clicking" it without the mouse? - firefox

Lets say I have a page with 1000 blue links stacked on top of one another. I want to find one that matches pattern "blah" so I press ctrl-F/cmd-F and type in "blah". I find the link, it's highlighted for me. Here's my question...
Now that the browser has highlighted this link, is there anyway I can "click" on it instead of having to grab the mouse? I basically want to move my tab focus to it so I can just press enter and move on.
Thanks in advanced.

Somehow I discovered that this feature is already implemented in Chrome: just press Ctrl+Enter. :)

How to change this behavior of mouse click

So when I click on something, for example, when I click a search result in browser, something appear in that place, you know when you typing something, there's always this blinking black and straight line, that's what i'm talking about, I don't know what that's called.
You can see it in the picture I attach above, the line before the word 'Google'. That line always appear everywhere I click. How do I remove this?

You see, when I press end key in my laptop keyboard, usually that takes me to the end of the page, but that's not the case now, I suspect the click behavior i mention above have something to do with this
Note:
I don't know if stackoverflow is the right site to ask this question, but since I don't know any other sites, I just post it here
Well, I found the solution, it's caret browsing from chrome, just press F7 to turn it off. Refer to this thread for more information https://support.google.com/chrome/thread/78208145/line-shows-up-when-clicking-on-text

CKEditor after copy+pasting URL, new text on next line is blue and underlined

We use CKEditor with auto-link-plugin to make URLs clickable.
After copy+pasting the URL, the link is blue and underlined: nice.
Unfortunately new text on the next lines is blue and underlined, too.
Is there a way to disable this?
It is common behavior with most of the editors. Before pasting any link give an extra space, and use left arrow to come back to right place and paste link and use right arrow to move extra space and continue. See if this helps.
This is not a solution, but a work-around for the end-user of CKEditor.
There is an unlink button:
If you click on it, then the next text you type won't be part of the link.
Unfortunately after clicking the button the cursor is still blinking in blue color. But if you start to type, it gets black (relieve).
You could create a paragraph to place in the link, paste the link and then move to the next paragraph. This means you will have to create to paragraphs in the beginning. First one for the link and the second to continue your typing

Mouseless Navigation in Safari with Cmd+F on Mac

how to choose highlighted search results from the (cmd+F) word search? I know that I can change from one to the next one with "Tab" button. Pressing the "Enter" button on the highlighted word (in order to open that new link as I did on my Windows, but it does not work on my Mac). I always have to use my mouse in order to open/click on it. Is there another way to choose? I want to navigate faster through Safari.
Thanks
If you'd like to navigate faster through Safari, you can use a plugin/extension called 'Gleebox'. It's very useful for selecting links simply by pressing a shortcut (which you can set to whatever you like) and then typing the word. It will highlight it in green and you can press enter to select it. You can also press tab to move from item to item. It can also help you select just headers, image links, etc.
Gleebox for Safari is experimental however. Using Chrome, it can be downloaded here: https://glee.github.io/

Puzzled by Xcode search path editor

Double clicking the text field for a search path in Xcode 5 brings up what seems to be an editor but it contains no apparent way of saving what has been changed. See the screen shot.
It has a little pointy hat that isn't shown as well.
If I move the box towards or away from the text field it represents it disappears and the changes disappear too. What the hell is this and what am I doing wrong?
You don't have to explicitly save it. Just click the + button, enter a path, then click anywhere outside of the popover to close and save it.

GtkNotebook add-tab button

Is it possible in Gtk+ to have an add-tab button inline with the tabs in a notebook, ala Opera or Google Chrome? I do know that Opera uses Qt and Chrome uses custom tabs, but is it possible in pure Gtk+?
Well, if it is not possible, there is a simple workaround:
Create a tab with the title "New Tab" or "+" or whatever
Detect when the tab is selected and, when such happens, create a new tab. Focus on that new tab so that the "New tab" tab isn't ever selected.
Sure. Check out the class BrandedNotebook at line 1384 of this file.
Unfortunately Gtk+ doesn't give you a "nice" way to do this, but you should be able to determine the amount of space available, and use it as you wish. In the case of BrandedNotebook, a pixbuf is drawn in the space, and mouse clicks are handled within the coordinates of the pixbuf.
