When I used rails server command, found following errors in terminal. It shows that "could not find a JavaScript runtime". I am newbie in ROR and don't know to configure different files. I Google and found solutions of this problem 1 2 3. Still I am not getting the things. Please suggest some solutions.

Haven't you try to run gem install execjs or bundle install(from your project directory) in console?

Also visit execjs homepage and try instaling any of JS runtimes supported.

I was able to reproduce your error (with ruby 1.9.2). Just add gem 'therubyracer' to your Gemfile and run bundle install. For some weird reason ROR is not working out of the box on Ubuntu. See this and search for runtime word for more info.

For Rails 3.2.6 I suggest to use Ruby 1.9.3. for better performance.

I'm trying to follow this guide on setting up a GitHub page website. I installed Homebrew, chruby, and Jekyll following this jekyllrb.com tutorial.
When I run ruby -v I get ruby 3.1.2p20 (2022-04-12 revision 4491bb740a) [x86_64-darwin18]. When I run chruby -V I get chruby: 0.3.9. After installing Jekyll with gem install jekyll I get Successfully installed jekyll-4.3.1 Parsing documentation for jekyll-4.3.1 Done installing documentation for Jekyll after 0 seconds 1 gem installed.
But when I run jekyll -v (or any Jekyll command) I get a very long message with the following error:

I spent hours looking at what this error means and found very specific (to some version of Ruby or other libraries) questions like Ruby 2.7.2 google/protobuf_c problem (M1), Ruby: Gem version 3.11.2 doesn't load on Ruby 2.7, and many others.
It's the first time I even hear about Ruby or Jekyll or anything else here and I can't figure out how to properly install these to just make a website on GitHub. I also tried to install Ruby using rvm instead of chruby but that gave the same error. I also tried to install different versions of Ruby, like 3.1.3 and 3.2.0.
When gems have native extensions that need to be compiled it's possible for the gem author to build the extensions in advance and include them in the package so that the gem can install faster than if it were being compiled from scratch. Unfortunately Google has broken this implementation repeatedly.
This has been a problem for about two years with google-protobuf. Google has periodically fixed it and broken it again. They also periodically claim to understand the problem without understanding it and claim to have fixed it without fixing it. And their GitHub issues frequently pass the buck when they're the only ones that can fix it.
Anytime you're dealing with google-protobuf on macOS it's best to ensure that you are compiling it from scratch. This can be done with the --platform argument:
gem install --platform ruby google-protobuf
The platform ruby means don't use any pre-compiled binaries and force compilation from source.
The platform x86_64-darwin means use the pre-compiled binaries for macOS with Intel processors. That's the version that the gem installer identified for your system and used automatically but the error no suitable image found is a macOS error that means this library was not compiled in a way that I can understand.

Well apparently debugger in RubyMine does require this gem. So You have multiple ways of doing this.
Assuming your File > Settings > Languages & Frameworks > Ruby SDK and Gems
contains only one ruby version and its the selected one (and the gem really isn't in the list). As halfelf said in your terminal/cmd/iterm you would simply write
gem install debase
Also you could create file called Gemfile that would have all the gems in
source 'http://rubygems.org'
gem 'debase'
and in the future any other gems you would need, Rubymine should be able to install those for you.
If you would have already installed the gem, there might be a gem installation conflict that would need to be resolved.
I started a new rails application project with rubymine.
After that Rubymine ran a bundle install.
project did not succeed in running
on one project - with no mysql definition the error is
gemnotfound - could not find gem sqlite
on one project - with mysql definition the error is
gemnotfound - could not find gem mysql2
Does someone have an idea what are those ?
shouldnt bundle install brought me those?

RubyMine may not be able to install these gems automatically as they depend on native libraries that may not be available on your system. You also need DevKit installed and working in order to install native extensions.

You can also use sqlite-ruby instead, as for the above gems you need sqlite3.dll and libmysql.dll in PATH.
Google is your friend, it's not that hard to find various installation guides.

That is saying the installation was succesful. So why do I get the error ?
If the error is from the API change how can I request version 0.5.2 of the rubytree gem ?
When I do a gem list --local | grep 'rubytree'
I have this output rubytree (0.8.1)
So why is the system saying could not find gem 'rubytree' ?

Depending on what version of rails you are using (and it sounds like you are using a relatively newer one, if it's prompting you for your Gemfile), then you need to use Bundler to manage your gems.
Try editing your Gemfile, adding a new line that reads:
gem "rubytree", "< 0.6"
Then open up a console, and type this command
bundle install
This should fix your problems, but if you still get errors when running a command, then try typing bundle exec prior to the command (i.e. rails server becomes bundle exec rails server).
Currently, we require rubytree exactly in version 0.5.2 or 0.5.3, as specified in our Gemfile, the 0.8.1. version you installed by hand will not suffice that requirement, which is exactly what the error message states.
What seems a bit odd is the literal ruby in the error message. Could you please make sure that you have the exact unchanged Gemfile from the source on your system? Also, could you please remove any user-installed plugins and try again? Also, which ruby (type and version) on which operating system are you using?
I need to include a rubygem in a simple macruby application i am creating in XCode. Using require 'rubygems' does not give an error, but the next line to require any other gems has a load error. I installed the gems using macgems. Thanks in advance.
The load error might be an indication that the gem doesn't work on Macruby. Post the error and someone might have more info on that gem or that error.
Did the gem actually install correctly? If it did install, does it work from the command line? Try creating a simple script that requires rubygems and your gem and run that on the command line outside of xcode and see if the problem is compatibility with that gem.
A while back in the 0.5 days I had this problem with a gem (miniexif iirc) that would install via macgems but not load or run. This might be a similar problem.
