How to get the dropped link from internet browser to my application? - windows

Alright my application has a window. I want to do something when a link from my Internet Browser (e.g. Mozilla Firefox) is drag&dropped on the window of my application. What should I do? It's been a while that I've been searching, but I couldn't find any answer.

The easiest way will be to use Drag and Drop Component Suite.

UiPath cannot click Chrome inspect feature "accessibility checker"

I have to automate on button "Accessibility Checker" which will come after inspecting the web page as shown in the picture. Please suggest me how to automate this as of now I am using UiPath, but that is not working (not able to select a correct Selector).
As far as I know chrome is a bit tricky since it has a lot more background updates than other browsers. So use something like IE if you can. Other than that, you can use anchor base activity with image activities. I get accurate results with that solution on cases where I am not able to use clicks.

While using Application Modeler Not able to see Identify button after Launch in Firefox

I am using Blue Prism for gmail login test, I want to try with different Browser,I tried with IE every thing is fine but while trying with Firefox, not able to find Identify button after Launch. What would be the reason ? Is there any thing like Blue Prism doesn't support Firefox?
From what I know and what I've been taught, Blue Prism works ONLY with IE.
Blue Prism is compatible with the Internet Explorer browser only, you are advised to use IE while spying the web element, It does not support other browsers. It has the default setting of Internet Explorer, You can see this when you define the root node(brwoser+ URL path) in appln modular it shows the path with internet explorer.
Hope this helps.

web browser engine to embed in win32 program

I need to put in simple Win32 program kind of ability to view web pages. It must be just window with page in it, no browser adress bars or other elements, just working web page in win32 window without any standart browser elements.
It seems that i need some kind of project, that gives me some way to embed chromium engine (chromium most likely) in to win32 api, and, obviously, give the full controls over the messages and other stuff that going to that "browser" window. I was looking at CEF project http://code.google.com/p/chromiumembedded/ , but will it fit, or any other suggestions?
My (unfortunate) suggestion is to use IWebBrowser2 if you just want to use the Internet Explorer control.
Example can be seen here:

Is there a DOM Inspector like Chromes for Firefox?

I really dislike Firefox DOM Inspector. Is there one that docks to the page so I don't have two separate windows and also highlights the box/margins/padding like Chrome/Safari does? I can't find one.
Firebug is the best tool for web development missions:

Once you get used to it, there is also a (Lite) version for Chrome:

Recent versions of Firefox have it built in. Here is how to open it:
Ctrl+Shift+i (Windows)
Command+Shift+i (OSX)

WebKit shell browser for internal web application

I am creating an in-house web application that I want to run in a WebKit shell browser on the Mac. I searched and came up empty. Basically, I want the site rendered and shown in a window with no chrome for navigating to other pages, bookmarks, etc. Seems to me that there should be a relatively easy way to get something like that up and running in Xcode, but alas I don't know how. The more barebones the better. Anybody know the answer?
Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but you could use a WebView. The content is rendered by Safari/WebKit.
As for chrome, if you just put the view, that's all you'll have. You can shape the rest of the User Interface however you'd like.
Apple's documentation has a couple of examples using WebView... Should this solve your problem.
Did you take a look at the phonegap mac project.
Its a full screen webkit without any chrome in which you can put your html / css / javascript to run:
