Reporting Services - Editing multiple (similar) reports at once? - visual-studio-2010

I'm editing 20+ similar "reporting services"-reports in Visual Studio 2010, and a common annoyance is that whenever I have to make a slight change to the reports (For example change the font, add a parameter or add a textbox), I have to go through them all to make the change. I know there is a way to make templates, but my problem is to make a change to multiple after they are created (as far as I know the template feature is only for the creation of the report documents).
Any help is greatly appreciated, and please let me know if you need further information.

I'm not sure if it helps but you can try to use Subreports

TFS 2010, Check-In Dialog, display date of CheckOut?

Does anyone know, if there is a possibility, to show the date of the check-out in the check-in dialog?
This would have the advantage for me, if i want to check-in all files with a known date of the checkout, e.g. all files i checked out today, than i could just sort them instead of search them and compare every single file.
It is not unusual that my list of checked out files becomes a bit longer until i am able to check them in again.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
I don't believe this is possible within VS. However, if you install TFS Power Tools, you should be able to perform a check-in from Windows Explorer; then (and this is by no means an exact science) you could sort by Date Created. I believe this should give you what you want.
A possibly better way to do this would be to make use of multiple workspaces. If you're working on things that can be independently checked in, then separating them using workspaces seems to make more sense; this also prevents the possibility of you booking in some changes that rely on other changes that you may have done on a different day.
I know you are on TFS2010 and possibly VS2010 but in VS 2012/Team Explorer Everywhere you have the option of excluding and Including files during check-in. YOu should probably check it out.

Visual Studio 2010 / TFS set "local" comments?

I'm working in VS 2010 and am connected to a Team Foundation Server.
In order to edit source files I have to check them out from the server. After I'm done with editing, I have to check them back in (to make changes visible to everyone else) or discard changes.
I am currently in the process of getting acquainted with the architecture and systems, so I'd like to add a lot of personal comments while I play around with everything.
However I'd prefer to not make these comments visible to everyone else. (And I dont want to delete them everytime I commit changes via check-in)
Is there a VS function I did not yet discover or a plugin that allows me to enter comments that dont get commited to the TFS? Maybe something like virtual post-its, just something that lets me attach stupid reminders on certain blocks of code?
(yes I know, proper documentation would make this obsolete but the system is as it is and its huge and I'm not the one to document this all, just want to get used to the code)
VS2010/TFS2010 no built in functionality that I know of, for TFS2012 you could possibly use code reviews.
Maybe the Visual studio extension StickyNotes is what you want.

Edit and Continue

I found a similar question here, but of no help.
I have a solution with nearly 10 projects in it. I am able to edit the code while debugging the solution, but for 1 particular project (say "Defect.csproj"), I am not able to. I am receiving the error as
I have compared the properties of this "Defect.csproj" project ith other project properties and everything is found to be same. In Debug and Build tab in properties, Configuration is Debug. Optimize code is off. Can anyone suggest me whats the problem with my solution?
Are you using any special references on this project?
Using office references or delta lambda expressions can silently break the edit and continue functionality.
Also using some third party component winform items can really play havoc with edit and continue.
Also keep in mind that using linq breaks edit and continue fairly often and editing inside a try catch block on the active function is bad.

Help with understanding multiple projects in one solution visual studio

I'm working on a website at the moment that has three separate "area's" to it. Firstly, there's the main website, then there is a User control panel, and finally an Admin Control Panel.
At the moment, I am working with three separate solutions which is less than ideal, as I can imagine updating this in the future will become rather messy.
What I would like to do ideally, is create a solution, and then include the three separate projects within that solution. I don't have a problem doing that, what I can't seem to figure out however is the publishing side of things.
I've searched around and been unable to find a solid answer to my question, which is:
If I am using multiple projects in one solution, can each one be published to a separate FTP Server Directory? -- I would also welcome any ideas on how this could be done better.
My apologies if this question has been asked before, but during my searching I have been unable to find anything that relates to this situation.
Thanks in advance,
Dave
This is definitely possible, since publishing occurs at a project level rather than at a solution level. What I like to do is go to Tools->Customize->Keyboard... and set a custom key binding for "Build.PublishSelection". Whichever project you have highlighted in your Solution Explorer will be published when you push the key binding. You can save multiple publish configurations in the publish dialog as well.

Auto-sync Visual Studio's Class View

Is it possible to have Visual Studio's Class View pane (available under View > Class View) automatically synchronize to current symbol? Basically execute View.SynchronizeClassView whenever the current symbol changes.
See here and here. I find your phrasing more along the lines of what I would have asked. Not sure why you didn't get any answers.
As it seems, an automatic synchronize (without hotkey) will not be implemented.
