Default Xcode code signing identity - xcode

Hi does anyone knows a way to change the default code signing identity in Xcode?
The problem is that as I'm building the Xcode project from Unity, I'm recreating the project in every build and the Xcode signing by default is set to a wrong one.
So I have to change it by hand every time.
(I know it's possible to use the same Xcode project when building from Unity instead of creating a new one, but as I'm building in Unity using a custom plugin, I can't do that)
I'm currently using Xcode 4.3.3

In order to change Code Signing Identity, select your target, navigate to Build Settings. It's under Signing section.

Compile Swift project in Xcode without code signing

Is there any way, any way at all, any way, I can get Xcode Version 9.2 (9C40b) to allow me to create an application without code signing? I will sign my code in 6 months when I have finished writing it, but now, I just want to compile code, play, and just get HelloWorld to work. I do not want a work-around to get around my signing failure, whatever it is, I just do not want it signed and get rid of all this hassle just now. XCode General Tab Build Settings and XCode Build Settings Tab Settings. This really should not be this difficult.
I just uploaded the signing error, when it is all configured to not sign
You can build and run in the simulator if you de-select "Automatically Manage Signing" or select Team: None
Running on a real device requires a free developer account and (hopefully) if you select "Automatically Manage Signing" everything will be taken care of for you, or prompt you with what you need to do.

How do you build an open source Xcode project without signing?

I've cloned an open source Xcode OSX/Cocoa project (SatelliteEyes) and am attempting a build with Xcode 6.1.1. In the project settings, the Bundle Identifier is the project owner's, and the Signing option is Mac App Store. If I set the Signing option to None, I am still prompted for a signing identity and I cannot build the project (the No signing identity found dialog appears, despite having set Signing to None). In addition, Xcode is displaying the No signing identity found warning with the usual Fix Issue button, despite setting the Signing option to None.
Under Build Settings, I have changed the Code Signing Identity options for Debug and Release to Don't Code Sign.
Despite this, Xcode still prompts me with the No signing identity found dialog. Why the frack is Xcode asking for a signing identity when I've got signing turned off everywhere?
I just want to build this project and run it locally to see my changes before contributing a patch. How do I do this?
I've gone through this multiple times and have been able to recreate a series of steps that work. What I did:
do not manually select Signing None under the General project settings.
only set the Debug Code Signing Identity to Don't Code Sign under Build Settings
Same goes for any subproject targets.
In other words, I was only able to build without signing by only manipulating the Code Signing config under the target Build Settings configuration.
I will now walk off this momentary bout of depression.
There are two things you can try:
Make sure you're not targeting a real device in the top left corner.
Unplug your iPhone/iPad
Change from the "iOS Device" to an iOS Simulator (iPhone 6)

How to create an .ipa file out of phonegap 3.5.0 project?

I'm very new to OS X and facing difficulties even in finding the menu options in xcode.
I tried all the resources available online. All I'm trying is to make an .ipa file out of the phonegap project which uses push notifications. I have tried phonegap build this way:
Created .p12 key and development provision file according to the instructions in the following link:
http://www.raywenderlich.com/32960/apple-push-notification-services-in-ios-6-tutorial-part-1
It's not working out. So, I started to use xcode to do it. But I don't find an option to edit scheme anywhere.
Kindly help me.
Change you device from iPhone/iPad in XCode to iOS Device then in the project build menu, select Archive. You will be prompted by Xcode to sign the app and if you don't have provisioning profile Xcode will assign you one.
Follow the archive menu to create an download the packaged IPA.

Xcode organizer hangs after choosing code signing identity

I'm trying to distribute an ipa via Testflight and am having real trouble with Xcode (4.3).
The archive seems to build ok but when I go through the enterprise distribution process in the organizer, after selecting the code signing identity (I'm using settings that have previously worked) Xcode just hangs with the "processing" circle animation running.
Anyone have any idea what might cause this?
have you restarted your xcode/mac ? most often such issues are solved with this thumb rule.
workaround (not a solution)
If that doesn't solve it, assuming the build runs on your device and only archiving is the issue, drag and drop that build (usually in the products folder in the XCode Project Navigator) into your device (through iTunes) and then copy the ipa created for that app and submit that to TestFlight.

Xcode default scheme and architecture setting mismatch (iPhone development)

I am developing iPhone application and choosing to build iPhone project. However, I don't know which setting or which part I edited in info.plist. Now the default scheme and architecture is set to be Mac application development.
Can anyone tell me how to edit the .plist file or make any setting to make the project build in iPhone/iPad stimulator nor Mac, when I choose to build an iPhone/iPad project. (I had edited the plist file using terminal, so I not sure which part I did wrong and cause this problem).
Because now every iPhone application project cannot be built, even for the new iOS application project (due to the setting will auto set to Mac nor iPhone).
in the build settings for your project (and you may have to do this for each target) change BaseSDK to Latest iOS.
i have no idea why changing the info.plist in one project would affect any new projects you create, tho.
