AutoCompleteBox Strange Popup Position Behavior - windows-phone-7

I'm adding auto complete to a new app using AutoCompleteBox. I noticed some strange behavior of the popup positon. Sometimes (about 70%) it'll popup slightly higher and blocks half of the textbox, while sometimes it just works fine. There're two AutoCompleteBoxes in my app and both of them have this behavior. Have anyone experienced this before?
I'm using the November 2011 toolkit.

Scrollwheel not working in Chrome for OSX

I have an application built with JSF and PrimeFaces. I am using a layoutPane and within it are two panels. I have set up CSS to scroll the content sections of the panels however the scrollwheel will not work on OSX using Chrome version 51. I can however use the arrow keys to scroll the section. The scrolling works as expected when using Safari and Firefox but not Chrome.
I should note also that I am using a Mac Pro with Retina display. I also have a second monitor attached that is a HP w2207. To make things even more interesting, if I drag the Chrome window to the HP monitor the scrolling works as expected. Dragging the window back to the laptop Retina display and the scrolling no longer works.
I have tried various system settings and nothing has worked. I have also tried altering the HTML/CSS thinking maybe there is some kind of collision between the parent panel and the child panels but I have not been able to come up with a fix.
Has anyone experienced this issue before or could point me in the right direction?
Upgrade Chrome to version 52.
I'm working on a different stack, but the issue seems to be exactly the same: in some cases scroll doesn't work and it happens only when I'm using Chrome 51 and Retina. I wasn't able to find the cause, and the only solution that I know is upgrading Chrome.

kendo ui back button breaks my app navigation

I have tried to get the data-role="backbutton" kendo mobile ui feature to work but I am having issues. When testing the app on my iPhone 4 I get stuck in my app because the back button breaks the UX.
What happens is that when I am testing, I click heaps of back buttons (as they are used quite heavily in my app) and then randomly one decides to slide the previous view into the screen but only goes halfway and then snaps back (or some other type of visual glitch occurs). Then after that, all my navigation breaks down and I get stuck in the last view that I was in. Or better yet the links go to places that they are not supposed to. My tab bar does not work and either do links in the header. I have to exit the app completely, remove it from operating and try again. Seriously something wrong going on here.
I have tried to programatically add the back button by following the Kendo UI documentation but that does not work either. I am left with a button that does absolutely nothing when clicked - it may not even solve the issue anyway. I have looked using developer console in Google Chrome but I can't see any obvious issues.
Has anyone using Kendo Mobile UI experienced this issue before?
I downloaded the latest release of the Kendo UI build and the problem seems to have been resolved. Surprising! I assumed the Kendo framework was a bit more mature to be experiencing such a big issue. It was occurring when using slide transitions in navigation. Here is a link to the bug post on Github https://github.com/telerik/kendo-ui-core/issues/66

keyboard splitting hangs in opengl app

I have OpenGL application with UITextField in the main menu. When I tap on the text field the keyboard appears and I can edit the text. But if I running under iOS 5 and if I try to split keyboard then the keyboard starts splitting (I mean animation) and then hangs when I release my fingers. I mean it hangs on half splitting - and does not responds more. But my app is still alive - and render is working well - background animation is still working.
I have just made a simple test - have disabled the render at all. And the problem has gone. So the problem is related to OpenGL.
I use OpenGL ES 1.1,
XCode 4.2 and iOS SDK 5.0.
Do somebody have similar problems? Any suggestions?
Please help.
UPDATE:
I have just tested two more games from AppStore - and in one I have found this problem too!
'Roads of Rome HD free' - iPad game.
I've encountered this problem too, but I was able to fix it due to previous experiences. In one application we found that if we keep our GL view active while playing video, the video playback position slider didn't behave smoothly. The same seems to happen with the keyboard split. If your problem is the same as mine, the issue is related to the keyboard split animation not finishing (and, in our case, the point where remained struck varied with each test)
We solved the issue stopping the animation on your GL view (I bet it's called EAGLView) when receiving a UIKeyboardWillChangeFrame notification and starting it again after UIKeyboardDidChangeFrame.
Old post, but I just came across this problem in ios 8 on an iPad3.
Running an OpenGL app at 60fps seems to throttle the keyboard update. Reducing your FPS while the keyboard overlay is active will fix the issue.
I'm using GLKViewController to manage the update and Draw callbacks with a 60fps refresh, but that was causing the keyboard split to lock up half completed.
I found the best solution for me was to set the view's preferredFramesPerSecond to 20 while receiving text input, and then set back to 60 after the textView is closed. As well as fixing the keyboard hang, it also just makes the keyboard generally more responsive.
myViewController.preferredFramesPerSecond = 20;

Tooltips flicker on OSX

I'm creating a cross-platform GUI using JavaFX 2.0, and some of the controls that I use require tooltips to be displayed when the mouse hovers over them. I've got the tooltips displaying fine on my Windows 7 machine, but on OSX (10.7.3) the tooltips appear and then dissapear immediately, and the only way to get them to display again is to move the mouse off the control and then back on.
Is this a known issue with tooltips under OSX, or is there something special that needs to be done?
Many thanks,
Joseph.
Looks like a known issue RT-14798 "Mac: tooltips disappear right after they are displayed", which was fixed on January 26, 2012. Download the latest JavaFX OS-X early access release and, if you are still having an issue, reopen the bug. jQuery Marquee - Resets after four entries in Firefox

Good evening everyone.
I am puzzling over the oddity that the jQuery Marquee plugin, which was working fine, suddenly resets itself after showing only four of six entries here: http://site427.mysite4now.net/tazthedog/site1/ (click on the Upcoming Events tab in the lower-right hand corner).
This works correctly in IE and Chrome on a PC, but in Firefox on a Mac and PC it resets after four.
Any ideas why it resets?
Thanks in advance for the help.
Doesn't seem to be a problem for me in Chrome 5. What browser are you seeing this bug in?
Edit:
Ah, I got it in Firefox. Could be any number of things. Looks like it might be an edge detection thing. Or the height they pull from the page isn't the proper height needed for the animation. Chrome displays this properly, so you might want to check the "hitedge" and "height" variables to make sure they are properly assigned and defined. It could also be a timing thing or some sort of event delay with Firefox. Try upgrading to the latest version of jquery 1.4.2 to see if that resolves anything.
