Xcode download for Snow Leopard - xcode

Older threads mention that there is a download for Xcode for Snow Leopard listed in the Xcode downloads on https://developer.apple.com/downloads/index.action?name=Xcode if you are logged-in as an enrolled iOS developer - but I can't see it.
A comment on this thread has a direct link to the download, but clicking on the link redirects to an "Access Denied" error page:
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/7662246/cant-download-xcode-4-for-snow-leopard-anymore

you can refer to here. or if you have a good internet connection, try to download via torrent. here is the link. link for xcode via torrent.

Your Required software is available at this link, https://developer.apple.com/downloads/
Currently Xcode 4.2 is on 6th page.

Please note: OS X 10.6.8 (snow leopard) is now TOO OLD to publish an app.
You need a mac with OS X 10.8 (mountain lion). Apple have not maintained backward compatibility: the minimum versions of Xcode or Application Launcher needed to meet the app store requirements won't run on 10.6.8.
You can develop, test and simulate with your old mac, but ultimately to build and publish your app you'll need a newer Mac.

Xcode for mac OS X 10.6.3?

Is there a version of xcode available for mac OS X 10.6.3? I did several searches on google but the only versions that i find is for 10.6.6 and up.
And xcode 3.2.5 is for leopard and not snow leopard.
I want to use it for developing for Iphone and Ipad.
Thanks.
Have you checked here: http://connect.apple.com/
You need to login using your Apple ID. Also, as Analog File mentioned, that version is probably deprecated and you won't be able to submit your app to the App Store if you build one with it.

XCode 4.2 not getting installed on my mac

I want to install XCode 4.2 on my mac. I have the dmg, but when I start the installation process, I get the file size as zero kb. Attaching the screen shot of the same:
Can anyone tell me what the problem might be???
The Mac version i am using is 10.7.2....
I have tried changing the install location, but it was of no use.
The installation process takes around 15 mins (although the size is zero kbas is in screen shot) and at the end, I am getting the message "Installation Completed"
EDIT:
For mac OSX version 10.7.2 (Mac OSx Lion), Do I need to download XCode 4.3. The dmg that I have got from one of my friend is titled "xcode_4.2_and_ios_5_sdk_beta_6_for_snow_leopard.dmg". Also, I have tried installing XCode 3.2.6 and it also is experiencing a similar problem.
what have you used for downloading?
The most of download managers downloads damaged files when Internet connection error was occured. The second type of managers stops downloading herein.
Don't use itunes if you can. I advice you to download xcode via torrents because they are protected from these downloading errors. Or at least try to download it via firefox because it stops the downloading instead of masking download erros.
I read the following in the Xcode Release Notes (developer account required) in the Apple developer documentation:
Installation
You can install Xcode 4.2 for Mac OS X v10.6 Snow Leopard only if you have purchased an earlier release of Xcode.
Install or update Xcode through the Purchases or Updates panes.
If you purchased Xcode from the Mac App Store, the Install Xcode app is on the volume on which you installed Xcode.
To install Xcode 4.2 on another volume, you must delete all copies of the Install Xcode app from your file system.
Maybe the first point explains your problem!?
I have downloaded the new dmg of XCode 4.2 from apple developer portal (developement tools). Its XCode_4.2_for_Lion. And it has got installed without any problem.

Configuring app sandbox in Xcode 4 under Snow Leopard

Is it possible to configure Mac App Store application sandboxing if I'm using Xcode 4 + Snow Leopard? I'm reading the guide by Apple but I don't see anything about entitlements in the summary tab. Does this mean that all MAS developers will need to build their app on Lion?
This is not an authoritative answer but this question leads me to think that XCode 4.2 is required to get these features. My XCode certainly didn't upgrade automatically to 4.2 but the 2nd answer provides a torrent download link for XCode 4.2.
Here is a link to using sandbox in SL.
Security entitlements are passed to the codesign command line tool during the build process. I just tested building a "Developer ID" application on Snow Leopard with sandbox entitlements.
Yeah I also try on snow leopard with xcode 4.2 .It didn't provide any option of entitlements.
But on lion its perfect. And I think there is no alternative other than compiling on it lion OS.
I found that the best way to go was to install Lion and use Xcode 4.3 or up. You will need to look for messages from sandboxd in the Console app to be able to catch sandbox violations and add the appropriate entitlements. AFAIK, this workflow wont work on Snow Leopard as sandboxd is not available.

Where can I find a version of Xcode 3 that will run on Mac OS X 10.5?

I need to install Xcode 3 on my MacBook Pro (so I can install Haskell Platform). I can't upgrade the MBP to Snow Leopard (10.6), but the Xcode 3 available for download from http://developer.apple.com/mac/ requires 10.6. Is there a version of Xcode 3 that will work with Mac OS X 10.5.8? Where do I find it?
My MacBook Pro was provided by my employer (which is why I can't upgrade to Snow Leopard), so I don't have access to the discs that came with it.
(Note, I moved this from https://superuser.com/questions/112629/where-can-i-find-a-version-of-xcode-3-that-will-run-on-mac-os-x-10-5/112630#112630 after noticing I had accidentally posted it there.)
Now, the latest version which would work with 10.5.8 seems to be 3.1.4. It is really hard to find on the Apple site. After logging in, you may be able to access this page: http://connect.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MemberSite.woa/wo/5.1.17.2.1.3.3.1.0.1.1.0.3.3.3.3.1
Search for "3.1.4", or try this direct link: http://adcdownload.apple.com/Developer_Tools/xcode_3.1.4_developer_tools/xcode314_2809_developerdvd.dmg
You have to login to get to the link, so I don't think I can send you a direct link.
Does this work for you?
https://connect.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MemberSite.woa/wa/getSoftware?bundleID=19897
It is tough to find on the site, but here's how:
go to http://developer.apple.com
Click "Resources" at the top of the page
Under OSX click "Downloads"
Uncheck all options but Developer Tools and type "XCode" into the search bar. You will find all versions under this search.

Can I get Xcode for Leopard still?

I just tried to upgrade my xcode tools on my mac running 10.5.8, but I didn't realize that the latest version of xcode will only run on snow leopard. I can't find the older version of xcode that would work on my work machine. Where can I get a leopard compatible version of xcode?
Xcode downloads for Leopard (10.5) are no longer shown on the main Xcode page.
However, prior versions are available from the Downloads for Apple Developers page.
Once you have logged in, you can enter "Xcode 3.1.4" in the search field at the top left and hit Enter.
Another alternative is to download it using the interwebs (probably easier and faster than from Apple). The file is called xcode314_2809_developerdvd.dmg and here are some numbers:
143639af09af993d1f6ea45319ddcca0cf65df72 (sha1)
1107ccc98c79afb501f04f9ff1412a98 (md5)
Google is your friend.
Here is the linkk for Xcode 3.1.4 i found:
Xcode 3.1.4
(you need to be logged in as Apple Developer)
