Browser back button doesn't work for Ajax Updatepanel click - ajax

I'm facing a crazy issue with in localhost vs production server.
Basically the issue is: browser back button doesn't have support for traversing in pagination, which works pretty fine in localhost. I am using Ajax update panel for pagination in grid view.
One more interesting stuff is: when I'm clicking on browser back button it appends a 404 URL, whereas I do not even have 404 page on my server.
the URL looks like:
http://www.example.com/404.aspx?404;http://www.example.com:80/domain-abcd/
I could able to travel all the pages in localhost and browser back button is properly responding taking me back to the previous page in gridview.
I am using IIS 6.0 and for rewrite URL Intelligencia UrlRewriter.
For this purpose I use the code below upon page load
form1.Action = Request.RawUrl
Any ideas on how to deal with, and fix these issues?

how can i get the same page with the click of back button of browser
Hope this will help you.

How to make the Wordpress admin-bar work with AJAX loading

I'm working on a website that uses html5's push- and popstate in combination with ajax-calls to create a website that dynamically loads in Wordpress posts and pages, without causing a page refresh.
I've got that working fine, but I would love it if the black Wordpress toolbar/adminbar that shows at the top of the site when you're logged in as an admin, also reflected the change of content. Is there any way at all to make this happen? So that when I go from a post to page, for example, the "edit" link in the admin bar updates.
I don't think it's as easy as I hope it is, and if it can't be worked out I think I'll just disable the adminbar on the front-end. But it could be that I'm missing something.
Thanks in advance!
I'm working on this myself. I'm gonna build an ajax action and jquery function to do this. I will post here when it's done. For NOW i've instructed my users to just refresh to get the edit link. if you're using HTML5 history then you're on the permalink you want anyways. refresh and let the server regenerate the bar. not perfect but not terrible.
another option is to put edit post links in your template.

jQuery Mobile - next page still has previous page meshed on top of new pages content

Right, I don't really know how to explain this one but I will do my best by giving a scenario:
Homepage -> Contact page
Home page elements and text displays on top of the contact pages text.
Anyone know why this would be happening? Or if there has been any issues like this from the past?
Help and suggestions will be much appreciated
Edit: There is also nested menus and it is always the homepage that displays on top of content. The url seems to change first to the secondary page url, then it suddenly changes to the homepage url. It also blinks but I think this is an issue that jQuery mobile havent fixed using jQuery mobile 1.2.0

Facebook like button's iframe not expanded after ajax request

I'm adding a facebook share button to each post on a Wordpress (Using Facebook Share Button New plugin), it works ok for each post/page except when i'm loading them trough ajax, the result it's a normal Facebook like button but the popup (to write a comment) appears inside the button it is not expanded.
To check go to: http://iwanttobeher.com/ and then click on any face at the bottom of the page, then test the like button and you'll see what happens.
I don't know what to do, i tried to FB.XFBML.parse() after loading the content but the result is the same.
Switching to HTML5 didn't help in our case. What did was to remove the FB object just prior to new content being inserted into the page via Ajax:
delete FB;
wrapper.html(response.data);
We reload full pages via Ajax and so new page content recreates the FB object and re-initializes XFBML anyway. Not sure if this workaround would work if we reloaded only parts of the page though.
The original answer is here.
I've managed to fix it by changing the implementation to HTML5 instead Iframe or XFBML using Facebook's tool to generate like buttons: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/like/

There can be AJAX behavior even when the URL changes in browser?

If using the current Chrome, Firefox, and Safari, when switching between
http://www.facebook.com/my_name
http://www.facebook.com
The side panel for feed and chat, and any chat box actually stays. I thought when the URL changes, the page has to refresh as a whole, but obviously, this is not the case here. How is that done?
On IE 9, the URL actually became http://www.facebook.com/#! and using the "hash" to do ajax without refreshing the page, which is more understandable.
You can change the URL and page history from javascript without actually reloading the page.
See this answer on another question.
Note, that if you type the new URL by yourself and press enter the whole page reloads.
this might be the internal linking in the webpage with hidden DIVs with IDs and onClick those Hidden DIVs get visible with javascript and with AJAX content is loaded it will be a good if you browse the site disabling javascipt

Web page expired message in browser

I am implementing a web application using ASP .Net and C#. One of the pages has a requirement that it always needs to be fetched from the server, rather than from the local browser cache. I have been able to achieve this.
We have a back button in the application, which simply invokes javascript:history.back() method. The problem is that when the back button is clicked to navigate to the page which is always to be reloaded from the server, the browser displays a "Web page expired message".
The intent here is to force the browser to reload the page rather than display the web page expired message.
Any help would be highly appreciated. Thanks a ton in advance.
You will probably need to change the implementation to make the browser load the URL explicitly:
window.location.href = 'http://....';
instead of invoking the back button, since the intention of the back button is to get the last page from the cache.
(If browsers would not act that way, they would re-send your form data multiple times when using the back button during a registration process or similar.)
You mean you want to control browser behaviour, which is not possible. I doubt you can solve it that way. You could set the expiration time to a small value (1 minute perhaps?) so that the page is still valid if one navigates back quickly.
