I am new on the JavaScript and HTML. I am on learning process. I successfully made a cube and textured it. I also want to add different html link to open pages in "iframe".
I used the example of http://mrdoob.github.com/three.js/examples/canvas_geometry_cube.html
This is what I did http://olcaysahin.com/pages/cube.html
If anyone knows any tutorial or similar approach to make each face clickable, appreciated.
Thanks
Have a look at http://mrdoob.github.com/three.js/examples/canvas_interactive_cubes.html.
The from variable intersects, you can determine which face was clicked on from either the faceIndex or the face normal.

I'm having an issue where the material is not showing correctly. I checked the MTL file and all looks correct but for some reason, the material seems to be flipped(I can see it through some parts while it should be the screen). Initially I thought there was something wrong with the MTL or the OBJ but here comes the funny part. On 3dviewer.net the model looks completely perfect(last screenshot).
Therefore, does anybody have a clue on what's happening?
By default, Three.js only renders the front side of faces, since there's often no reason to render the inside of objects. The problem is that the asset you've exported has the face of the screen pointing inwards. There are two ways of solving this problem:
Open the asset in a 3D editor, flip the direction of the faces that are pointing inward, and re-export.
You could change the default material.side attribute of your material. My best guess is that: material.side = THREE.BackSide would solve your problem, but you could try the other values in that documentation page.
I am starting on a new website project using AngularJS 2.0.
However, I have a particular idea which I have no idea how to work out.
The website would work as follows: (I have put a link down here with multiple images that I hope can illustrate my idea).
Homepage with 20 rectangles, all having a different background color and some text and maybe a picture inside of it.
When clicking on one of the rectangles, the background of that tile will animate to a new page. The color of the header of that "new" page would be the color of the background of the tile. I think this should be done using the routing module right?

How can I achieve this? Should I be using like 20 different components on the home screen which I somehow animate to a new page using routing or should I do something else?
I am kinda new to AngularJS but I'd love to learn more, would be great if anyone could help me out with this.
Thanks in advance
I'm setting up an experimental html5 website using canvas.
I am drawing 3 circles all next to each other and all I want to know is how to be able to select them.
I'd like them to become links, in a way. Not tags, since everything's gonna be created using javascript.
Something like kinetic JS : http://www.kineticjs.com/, but without the extra library.
I have found some scripts that are using ghost canvas and contexts, but the examples are for dragging and stuff. I only want to be able to select my shape and execute some code.
Thank you!
I am thinking you might want to look into the IsPointInPath() method. It will help you figure out whether or not the mouse clicked on your canvas object.
See Detect mouseover of certain points within an HTML canvas?
if you are talented in xml i suggest you to use canvas + SVG (http://www.w3schools.com/svg/)
And follow this simple example.
http://jsvectoreditor.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/index.html
regarding to SVG and Canvas , the differences are obvious, as you can load bitmaps in SVG, and you can draw lines using the canvas API. However, creating the image may be easier using one technology over the other, depending on whether your graphic is mainly line-based or more image-like.
Hi i need to create a rotatable 3d "c"(alphabet c)shaped object,i.e a logo kind of thing using blender 3d tool,i tried using text in blender but its not giving the feel of 3d object please help me out from this.thanks in advance.
You might want to hit tab to enter edit mode, select the faces to extrude(can hit "a" to select all), hit "e" key and move the mouse to extrude this text shape. Obviously render having added a light to the scene. (in case you are rendering it) And add a camera if you are not using the default one, and rotate it, or the object, so it renders other than a frontal view, to make it look more like a "3D object"
There's not yet an stack exchange site for 3d modeling questions (sadly, although one is being voted ) , so this question might fit better in Superuser. Anyway you need to explain the problem with more detail, or accuracy :)
I am using joomla 1.5 for one of my cms projects. In the top-left corner there is a box with a curve image. But it shows a rectangle box. When I view the source using firebug its shows the curve image so please help me whats problem besides it.

Wow, you should seriously consider recoding all of those tables in to some clean DIVs. You've got like 5 nested tables right around the news box that makes it near impossible to tell what is going on.
Anyhow, I digress. The problem is that the image is 184px wide while your box is only 170px wide. The curves are there, but they are outside the bounds of the table.
