Video on Amazon Cloudfront CDN does not play in Firefox mediaelement.js - firefox

Using W3 Total Cache, I have just distributed a video on the Amazon Cloudfront CDN and have been testing it with mediaelement.js. It is working well on Windows 7 (Chrome and IE9) and Windows XP Pro (Chrome and IE8). But, it does not play in Firefox ver 16.01 on either Windows 7 or Windows XP. On Win 7 / Firefox, I see the poster and controls, click play and it tries to play showing the dotted download circle, but does not complete. On Win XP / Firefox, I only see a black rectangle - no controls or anything.
Firefox does work in Win 7 if I play the video from the origin server where mediaelement.js is installed, i.e. not from Amazon Cloudfront CDN. It still has issues in Win XP - it plays the video but the controls cannot be activated by the mouse. So, it plays once then stops and cannot be played again.
So this appears to be an issue with Firefox and the Amazon Cloudfront CDN. Does anyone know why Firefox does not like playing the video from the Amazon Cloudfront CDN?
Thanks!

Check your video. Firefox doesn't support mp4 if this is your only format. Convert the video in webm also and add it to your in same way as the mp4 file.

is there any way to play the video in safari browser

below are 2 video files uploaded in aws. it will play in chrome or firefox etc, but wont play in safari
https://s3.ap-south-1.amazonaws.com/apppreprod/Vid_637768063547139404.webm
https://s3.ap-south-1.amazonaws.com/apppreprod/Vid_637745132425435217.mp4
The issue is that safari wont play videos uploaded into blob storage like aws.
recomended solution is to save the video in other server and it will play in safari.
The two links you provide can be opened in other browsers. I tested it with an iPhone, and found that it could not be opened in the safari browser, but the other three-party iPhone browsers can. After checking the Apple official website, it is certain that the safari browser of the iPhone supports the MOV video format.
suggestion:
When uploading a video, the video can be converted and stored as needed

Google Chrome screen flicker while playing a video with Windows 8

Google Chrome screen flicker (frame drop) while playing a video with Windows 8. The video is fully streamed. Same video runs fine with Firefox and same with IE it only happens with Chrome.
Do anyone have any idea what would be causing this?

Streaming audio in windows phone 7 browser

I need some help streaming audio inside the browser, on a Nokia Lumia 800, running Windows Mobile 7.5.
I currently am using JW Player (flash version) on the desktop browser, to stream an rtmp:// audio provided to me, and that works great. I also have an mms:// version of the same audio stream provided, but I cannot get it to play in the browser on the phone. I have tried setting the mode for JW Player to html5, but it doesn't work.
All the documentation on streaming audio on the windows phone seems to deal with native app development, but that's not an option for this at the moment.
Thanks for any help in advance.
Sorry, but neither the RTMP or MMS protocols are supported in HTML5 or Windows Phone (all versions), either natively or in the browser. You won't find support for either of these protocols even with a native app in WP7.x. WP8 opens up the possibilty of this functionality in 3rd party apps.

Cross platform javascript MP3 player not working on Windows phone

I am using this media player so that I can play mp3 audio files on a website and they will work on all browsers and smartphones - http://mediaelementjs.com/
However I have just been told that it is not working on Windows Phone. What's the deal with windows phone and it's built in browser?? It's pretty bad form if this plugin even supports IE6 yet it doesn't work with Windows Phone.
This does supports Windows Phone. Just scroll down on its website and you'll see a support chart.
This plugin uses Flash to polyfill HTML5 video tag. So it supports IE6 but not browsers without both HTML5 and Flash support. Which means it can support WP7.5 (IE9 mobile) but not WP7.0 (IE7 mobile).

safari mac wont stream HTML5 video

I am having a very frustrating issue with HTMl5 video and safari/mac.
I am using html5 video throughout the site where needed and it works/plays on every browsers bar safari on a mac (its fine on safari windows and chrome mac for example)
The videos dont stream and only play once the entire file is downloaded. At first I thought it may be to do with the index of the file being at the end and not the beginning (link html5 video = safari wants to download it all) so i tried qtindexswapper but when loading the MP4 into the program it said the MOOV/Index was in the correct position.
Anyone have any idea why safari mac has this issue?
A.
I've seen HTML5 be very picky with videos. They may play fine in a player, but not play or maybe play with no audio once embedded. This is usually due to a video not properly created/formatted. In most cases, re-creating the file in a professional level program alleviates the issue.
