2
Any other way to integrate with these API with Application.
Googled many times but did not get much helpn for #1 & #2.
Please advise!!!

if you look at pom file for spring social 1.0.2, you can find dependency, from below pom it looks like it has dependency on 3.1.0

Dependency 'org.springframework.boot:spring-boot-starter-mail:2.1.6.RELEASE' not found

I'm running a spring boot app and everything was working just fine, but when I added the spring-boot-starter-mail dependency in my pom.xml file, it is failing to download this dependency and it is highlighted in red.
I want to use the JavaMailSender to send emails in the application.

Maven can't resolve depndency from GitLab private repo

So like the title says I am using GitLab to host a number of spring boot projects. We also have a simple Maven package repository that hosts a common library used between various projects. I have followed the official documentation from GitLab. However Maven gives me an error when it tries to resolve dependencies.
I have tried deleting .m2 directory and cleared caches on intellij. Hoping to get some help in resolving this. Below you will find my pom.xml and the error message.

So I figured out the problem. It was an authentication problem related to the Deply-Token. The token the token that I was using was created under a co-worker's GitLab Account. Apparently when trying to pull a dependency from a GitLab package, you must use a Deply-Token created by your own account.

Kindly tell me, what should i do to stop getting this error
The main aim of adding this dependency is to protect my application with csrf filter
spring-security-bom has packaging defined as pom (<packaging>pom</packaging>)
Have a look at that tutorial
So in your case you have to define it like:
<dependencyManagement>
<dependencies>
<dependency>
<groupId>org.springframework.security</groupId>
<artifactId>spring-security-bom</artifactId>
<version>5.0.6.RELEASE</version>
<type>pom</type>
<scope>import</scope>
</dependency>
</dependencies>
</dependencyManagement>
After that you can define dependencies spring-security-* without using version.
Also have a look at the effective pom, which shows you what happens when you import another pom.

Spring mvc -webstore

I have written a simple application in Spring MVC - web store. The application works good when I have a repository of products created in the program. When i load data from database (products are loaded from the database and are on the page). I have got a problem with add products to cart - cartItems(it is a Map in program) - that is empty. Cartitems aren't in Cart( when I added products to cart). I am sure all the logic code is fine - earlier application (without database) works well. What may be cause of that problem? is there any possibility that my Maven dependencies are incorrect?
