Is Spring Social right approach to login into application with Twiiter,FaceBook and FoureSquare? - spring

please suggest which version of Spring Social is compatible with Spring 3.1(Using Spring 3.1)

Any other way to integrate with these API with Application.
Googled many times but did not get much helpn for #1 & #2.
Please advise!!!

if you look at pom file for spring social 1.0.2, you can find dependency, from below pom it looks like it has dependency on 3.1.0
