My 'run' command doesn't find the Powershell or the PowerShell ISE anymore. I'm working on a Windows 7 Enterprise SP1.
The same story appears when I try to open a Powershell through the Windows explorer by typing powershell in the address bar. It works perfectly with CMD, but not with the Powershell.
What could be wrong here?
Check your environmental variables Path. It's possible it's been modified and the powershell path is no longer listed.

When I tried to use list ls on a Windows command prompt, the system doesn't recognize it. I already added C:\Windows\System32 in the path.
Use the command dir to list all the directories and files in a directory; ls is a unix command.

Why is my "ls -A" displaying current and parent directory (even if should not?) [closed]

I'm writing a little bash script.
As written in the reference:
http://linuxcommand.org/man_pages/ls1.html
ls -A
Should not list "./" and "../" directories.
But... on my system (centOS) is still listing it.
Is there some option "always on" I should be take care of before running this script?

I installed a Powershell module (posh-git) using PS-Get but I am finding that it is quite slow. I want to uninstall it but using Remove-Module posh-git only uninstalls it from my current session but I would like to make this permanent.
This is an open issue for PS-GET: https://github.com/psget/psget/issues/164:
This should be a feature.
Nowadays, you have to delete it manually from C:\Users\[yourUser]\Documents\WindowsPowerShell\modules directory.

All my .bat files are opening automatically in notepad. Anyone know what kind of file I need to associate it? I tried to associate to "Windows command processor", but it only opened the "command-prompt", and didn't execute it.
Try removing the .bat file association in the registry. See this link for more details.
You should just be able to remove the "UserChoice" sub-folder.
